Material and labour for preparing black top surface of bituminous macadam by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer at 5 Kg per 10 Sqm using paving bitumen of Grade VG-10 complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for premixed bituminous macadam (consolidated thickness 50 mm or less) using paving bitumen of grade VG-30 as binder content 4% by weight of total mix, laid/rolled and compacted with power road roller of 8 to 12 tonne capacity to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for bituminous premixed semi dense asphaltic concrete, 40 mm consolidated thickness, using paving bitumen of Grade VG-30, with 5.5% of binder content by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted with power road roller of 8 to 12 tonne capacity to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note for item No 70 & 71. No price adjustment will be made for use of excess bitumen content as per mix design approved.

Spreading, levelling and well ramming including watering 100mm thick berms using approved earth in layers n.exc 25cm thick all the specified and directed. Note (i) The earth obtained from excavation and as approved by GE shall be used in this Item. (ii) Levels shall be taken to arrive quantity.

Supplying, Installation testing and commissioning of 6 Mtr High Octagonal Pole base plate size 220x220x12 mm size pole fabricating out of medium grade tapered pole octagonal cross section and shall be continuosly tapered with single longitudinal conforming to BSEN 10025 or equivalent with base plate Fe 410 conforming to IS 2062 of suitable thickness with 1.5m long pole arm for fixing 45Watt LED street light fittings including provision of 4 Nos foundation bolts EN 8 Gr.
