Notes: (i) All the aluminium sections provided under this item shall be measured and converted into weight for payment with the designated unit weight mentioned in the manufacturer's catalogue for the corresponding aluminium sections/ fittings. Removing existing roof/ chajjas treatment of any type like plastic felt/ HP tiles of any description including taking down existing plastering/ concrete of any thickness and cleaning the top surface of RCC slab with wire brush including removal of debris to a distance exc 50m but n exc 100m

Brushing with neat cement slurry @ 3Kg/Sqm on cleaned RCC slab surfaces and rendering 10 mm thick in CM 1:3 mixed with water proofing compound and finishing surfaces even and smooth without using extra cement. Note: Water proofing compound shall be measured and paid separately

Preparation of plastered surfaces by removing dust, dirt & applying oil bound bituminous primer at 0.3 litre per Sqm & providing APP modified water proofing membrane 4mm thick and weight not less than 4.5kg/Sqm reinforced with non oven polyester mat weight not less than 160gms per Sqm including min 10cm side/over lap & including applying a coat of blown hot bitumen grade 85/25 over membrane at 1.2kg per Sqm & on drying apply a coat of solar reflective bituminous aluminium paint at 0.1kg/sqm.

NOTE: APP modified water proofing membrane shall be of any one of the approved makes as specified here-in-after and shall conform to specifications given IS 16540-2017/ IS 16532-2017. Contractor shall produce necessary test certificate of the manufacturer to the Engineer-in-charge before incorporation in the work. Necessary independent tests shall also be carried out by the contractor without any extra cost to the Deptt as per relevant IS specifications and membranes with satisfactory test results shall only be incorporated in the work.

M&L for 25mm thick plain cement concrete 1:2:4 type B0 using 12.5mm graded stone aggregate as in sub base for flooring all as specified and directed.

M&L for 100 mm thick plain cement concrete 1:2:4 type B2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in paving, hard standing etc. and finishing the concrete surface even and fair without using extra cement and making impressions of expanded metal while the concrete is green all as specified and directed

M&L for coloured vitrified tiles, square or rectangular, light shade, 9 to 10mm thick, area of each tile not exc 0.36 Sqm, as in floors/ skirtings, set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white cement mixed with colouring pigments to match the shade of the tile laid over and including 15mm thick screed bed in cement mortar 1:4 all as specified and directed.

M&L for coloured non skid ceramic tiles, 7mm thick, area of each tile exc 0.06 Sqm but not exc 0.11 Sqm as in floor, set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white cement mixed with colouring pigments to match the shade of the tile laid over and including 15mm thick screed bed in cement mortar 1:4 all as specified and directed.

M&L for coloured ceramic tiles, edge cut, 8 to 9mm thick, area of each tile exc 0.18 Sqm but not exc 0.36 Sqm as in floor, set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white cement mixed with colouring pigments to match the shade of the tile laid over and including 15mm thick screed bed in cement mortar 1:4 all as specified and directed.

M&L for coloured glazed ceramic tiles 450mm x 300mm x 7 mm thick on vertical surfaces such as skirting, dados etc. set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white cement mixed with pigment to match with surfaces including 10mm thick backing coat in CM 1:4 all as specified and directed.

M&L for chequered cement concrete tiles 30cm x 30cm x 25mm thick, with grey cement and pigments, set jointed and pointed in neat cement slurry, laid over and including 15mm thick screed bed in cement mortar 1:6 as in pathways, etc. complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for machine cut Cudappah stone slab, 20-25mm thick, as in flooring, platforms, etc. laid and jointed with neat slurry and pointed with grey cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of the slab including bull nosing the edges, rubbing and polishing including 15mm thick screed bed in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for machine cut granite stone slab, premium quality, any colour, 18 to 19mm thick, set and jointed with neat cement slurry laid over and including 15mm thick screed bed in cement mortar 1:4 and pointed in white cement (1:2) mixed with colouring pigments to match with the shade of slab, as in platforms/ steps, cills, etc. including rubbing and polishing and bull nosing the edges where required complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 55 to 60mm thick machine pressed precast concrete interlocking coloured paver blocks, M-35 grade, any shape and size with glossy finish on top confirming to IS 15658-2006 all as specified and directed.

M&L for sand filling in floors or pavings including watering and consolidation all as specified and as directed.

M&L for plain cement concrete 1:3:6, type C1, using 20 mm graded stone aggregate, 75mm thick as in plinth protection, finishing the surface fair and even, in panels & filling joints with mortar, etc. all as specified and directed

M&L for weather proof coating to external wall surfaces with Rain coat with the following specifications all as specified and directed.

The external wall surfaces shall be prepared and made free from all dust, loose particles, laitance and sharp edges, fungus, algae, organic matters, etc. including removal of debris outside of MOD premises

All wide shrinkage cracks shall be cut open and Dr. Fixit crack X paste (for cracks upto 5mm)/ Dr. Fixit crack shrink free paste (for cracks upto 10mm) or equivalent shall be filled in the cracks and finished.

All masonry wall & RCC column separation/ masonry wall & RCC beam separation shall be filled with polymer modified mortar admixed with Dr. Fixit URP or equivalent at the ratio of 1:3 with polymer dosage of 12-20%.

Over the prepared surfaces one primer coat of Dr. Fixit Prime seal acrylic water based penetrating primer or equivalent shall be applied as a bonding coat.

Over the primered surfaces water proof coating shall be applied with two coats of Dr. Fixit Rain Coat or equivalent to form weather proof and decorative coating with 80-100 micron thick and 100% elongation properties.

NOTE: Water proofing chemicals shall be procured from approved manufacturer with prior written approval of GE. Full quantity of fresh chemicals required for incorporating in the work shall be brought to site with sealed containers. Water proofing treatment shall be carried out through authorised applicator of the manufacturer and the contractor shall produce necessary certificate of authentication to the Engineer-in-charge before commence of the work.

M&L for providing water proof treatment to RCC roof with acrylic polymer heavy duty fibre reinforced coating with the following specifications all as specified and directed.

The RCC roof surface shall be prepared and made free from all dust, loose particles, laitance and sharp edges, fungus, algae, organic matters, etc. including removal of debris outside of MOD premises

All cracks shall be repaired by cutting 'V' groove along the longitudinal section of cracks and filling with polymer modified mortar admixed with Dr. Fixit Pidicrete URP or equivalent at the ratio of 1:5:15 (URP : Cement :Sand respectively)

All potholes and uneven surfaces shall be repaired with polymer modified mortar over a bonding coat of Dr. Fixit Pidicrete URP or equivalent at the ratio of 1:1 (URP : Cement respectively)

Over the prepared surfaces one priming/ efflorescent coat of Dr. Fixit Prime seal or equivalent shall be applied by diluting the prime seal with water at the ratio of 2:1 (Primer: Water respectively)

Over the primered surfaces water proof coating shall be applied with acrylic polymer heavy duty fibre reinforced coating of Dr. Fixit New Coat or equivalent consisting of three coats of application to form 1mm thick heavy duty water proofing coating.

NOTE: Water proofing chemicals shall be procured from approved manufacturer with prior written approval of GE. Full quantity of fresh chemicals required for incorporating in the work shall be brought to site with sealed containers. Water proofing treatment shall be carried out through authorised applicator of the manufacturer and the contractor shall produce necessary certificate of authentication to the Engineer-in-charge before commence of the work.

M&L for rendering 5mm thick in cement mortar 1:3 on soffit of roof ceiling, finished fair and even without using extra cement all as specified and as directed.

M&L for rendering 10mm thick in cement mortar 1:6 on fair faces of brick work or PCC block masonry or concrete surfaces finished even and smooth without using extra cement all as specified and as directed.

M&L for rendering 5mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 mixed with water proofing compound over 10mm thick backing coat in cement mortar 1:6 on fair faces of brick work or PCC block masonry surfaces finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed. Note: Water proofing compound shall be measured and paid separately.
