Providing and applying Smartcare Dampproof, a fibre reinforced elastomeric liquid water proofing membrane formulated with reinforcing acrylic fibers having Sun Reflectivity Index (SRI) of 105 on horizontal/vertical surfaces of roof/wall/chajjas in multiple coats @2.0 litre/sqm. Primary coat is self-priming coat of elastomeric waterproofing liquid (dilution with water in the ratio of 3:1, damp proof : water) and other coats to be applied undiluted. The coating needs to be reinforced with 40 GSM geotextile, to sandwiched between 2nd & 3rd coat of coating. The application shall be carried out after scrapping and properly cleaning the surface to remove loose particles with wire brushes complete in all respect as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge. (Make: SmartCare Damp Proof of Asian Paints or equivalent in Berger and Nerolac). Notes:(1) The work shall be executed through authorised applicator of manufacturer only. (2) Authrised Applicator shall be approved by GE before starting of work. (3) All materials shall be procured directly form manufacturer. The purchase voucher shall be produced to the Engineer-in-Charge for his verification of material. Engineer-in-Charge shall deface the original purchase vouchers. (4) Guarantee: The contractor shall furnish a written guarantee for the effectiveness of the water proofing treatment for a period of Eight years in favour of the GE. A sum equivalent to 2.5% (Two point Five Percent) of the cost of water proofing treatment shall be retained by the Govt from the contractor’s dues as security deposit. The contractor may, however, furnish a fixed deposit receipt in lieu from a Schedule bank pledged in favour of Garrison Engineer.
Eacavation in trenches not exc 1.5m wide and not exc 1.5m in depth for foundation exc on for walls, shafts, manholes not exc 10 Sqm on plan or for laying pipes/cables etc and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.
Returing filling in incl spreading levelling watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm in soft or loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.
Removing excavated matereials to a distance not exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5m above the starting point in soils complete all as specified and as directed.

Cutting in to existing manholes for connecting new drains, making good to pipe & rendering cutting out existing benching for and forming branch channel in cement concrete1:2:4 type B-1 smooth finished and reforming benching as required for 150 mm to 300 bore drain pipe complete all as specified and as directed.
M & L for laying 40mm thick bitumen mastic wearing coarse with industrial bitumen conforming to IS 702 prepared by using mastic cooker and laid to required level and slope and cleaning the surface , incl demolition/taking down and removal of debris of existing road surfaces of any type complete all as specified and as directed.(Density of mastic asphaltic as 2.29 gm/cc and percentage of bitumen 10.20% as per MORTH specification)
