REPAIR AND MAINT OF SWIMMING POOL 1 2 AND 3 INCLUDING WATER PUMPS PRESSURE FILTER PIPELINE VALVES AND OTHER ALLIED WORKS AT NDA KHADAKWASLA

Providing services for removal of Filter Bed Media (Gravel & Quartz./Fine Sand) from Filter Bed (Cylindrical Type) at Swimming Pool No. 1, 2 & 3 of diameter 2.4m and height upto 3.0m as per existing arrangement and as per standard practices as mentioned below within the stipulated time period by employing suitable numbers of labour with necessary tool and plant to complete work on or before the stipulated time including clearing of filter bed media (Gravels only) with fresh/clean water till complete removal of tiny dirt deposited on gravel and make it suitable to reuse and proper segregation Gravels and sand for taking down old cracked tiles complete all as specified and as directed. A) Existing Layer of Media : 1) First Layer with Gravels of size 40mm size upto 600mm at the bottom of Bed. 2) Second layer with Gravels of 20mm size upto 600mm above the second layer. 3) Third layer with fine sand 0.35-0.5mm size upto 600mm aobe the third Layer. Note : 1) One bed will be handed over at a time to complete said Job. 2) Contractor is responsible to complete the said job within stipulated time period of shutdown by deploying sufficient labour and material at a time.

Providing services for Refilling (Loose) of Filter Bed Media (Old Gravel and Quartz/fine sand) inside Filter Bed (Cylindrical Type) at Swimming Pool No. 1, 2 & 3 of diameter 2.4m and height upto 3.0m as per existing arrangement and as per standard practices as mentioned below within the stipulated time period by employing suitable numbers of labour with necessary tool and plant to complete work on or before the stipulated time after necessary repair works inside bed complete all as specified and as directed : A) Existing Layer of Media : 1) First Layer with Gravels of size 40mm size upto 600mm at the bottom of Bed. 2) Second layer with Gravels of 20mm size upto 600mm above the second layer. 3) Third layer with fine sand 0.35-0.5mm size upto 600mm above the third Layer. Note : 1) One bed will be handed over at a time to complete said Job. 2) Contractor is responsible to complete the said job within stipulated time period of shutdown by deploying sufficient labour and material at a time.

Taking out existing spoiled sand, accumulated mud/quartz sand etc. (Fine filter media) from the Rapid Gravity feed type Filter Bed / Pressure filter of any size installed at swimming pools at NDA Khadakwasla, washing thoroughly, sieving and stacking size wise for reuse good quality sand and removing the spoil from site complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking out existing paves/ Gravels of any size(filter media) from the Rapid Gravity type Filter Bed / pressure filter carefully, stacking the materials (size wise) where directed. Washing the Gravells/pavells thoroughly, sieving for stacking size wise for re use of serviceable qty complete all as specified and as directed.

Labour only for Refilling (loose filling) of Pavels/Gravels of size as removed against item No 4 above in the Filter Bed of rapid gravity filter complete all as specified and as directed.

Labour Only for Refilling (loose filling) quartz sand of any size as retrieved from item No 3 in the Filter Bed of rapid gravity filtercomplete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Fresh Fine Silica Sand of size 0.5 to 1.0mm in first layer, 1.0 to 2.0mm in second layer and 2.0 to 4.0mm in third layer and coefficient of uniformity shall be between1.3 to 1.7m, and silica content should be not less than 90%, filling in layers in the Filter Beds, complete all as specified and as directed. Note for item no 1 to 7 : The unit rate is deemed to be included for necessary T & P and scaffolding required for removing and refilling of sand/gravels from the filter beds.

Repair/Periodical maintenance of Swimming Pool of size 50 mtr long, 21 mtr wide with variable depth between 0.5 to 3.5mtr installed at NDA Khadakwasala. Size of diving pool 16mtrx16mtrx5.4mtr.The maintenance shall be carried out during term break or any other dates given by the User / Department complete all as specified and as directed. . Repair/Periodical maintenance of Swimming pools comprises with the following works services:- a) Swimming pool bed de-watering including balancing chamber of swimming pool completely (approx.Qty 31 Lac ltr) by pumping out water from swimming pool. b) Cleaning of Swimming pool bed, vertical walls complete (tilled surfaces) manually by using brushes, caustic soda or any other permitted cleaning agent without damaging the existing tiles. Finally washing total surface with fresh water and make ready for fill up with water. c) Cleaning of balancing chamber by using mud pump, removing deposited silt from bottom of chamber, cleaning all vertical walls, removing algae and finally washing with fresh water and make ready for fill up with water. Note :- After carrying out of maintenance water shall be re-filled and to be made ready for swimming.

Material & labour for Cast iron fittings such as bends (any type ,radius , angle) tapers any type (straight,bend,increasing, decreasing or double socket etc),Tee piece,single branch Y junction double branch collar,blank flanged etc caps and plugs etc as per IS:9523-2000 of class K-12 PN -10 with internal cement mortar lining and external cement motor lining and external zinc black bitumen coated upto 150 mm complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F in repairs Mechanical joint collar/adaptor cylindrical shape of CI Pipe of having diameter of upto 350mm complete all as specified and as directed.
