Taking down old roof treatment materials from surface of old concrete roof by picking, sweeping clean and washing down with water using wire brush brooming down and applying the following treatment all as directed in order of precedence as stated :- (i) Rendering 15mm thick in CM (1:4) on existing roof surface true to level with WPC. ii) Applying one coat of bituminous primer @ 0.40 Ltr/Sqm. (iii) Supply and laying 3mm thick APP based polymeric membrane of approved manufactured with weight not less than 3.60 Kgs per Sqm reinforced with non-woven polyester fabric/matt weighing not less than 160gms per Sqm having softening point not less than 150 mm centigrade, having tensile strength of 650 N/5cm and 350 N/5cm in longitudinal and transverse directions respectively of the reinfocred tearing strength of 180 N by torch application . Polymeric membrane shall be taken to a height of 30cm(minimum) and then inserted inside the groove of parapet wall and shall be finished by a membrane flashing. (iv) One coat of aluminium paint over APP membrane finished surface. Note :- (i) Laying APP based polymeric membrane shall be done torch on method as per manufactures instructions. (ii) A minimum overlap of 100mm and 75mm should be made at the end and sides of the polymeric membrane respectively and sealed all overlaps and joints as per manufacturers instruction. iii) APP based polymeric membrane shall be of any one of the approved makes as specified here-in-after and shall conform to specifications given in IS 16540-2017/IS 16532-2017.
Item No 31 Contd..... (iv) Contractor shall produce necessary test certificate of the manufacturer to the Engr-in-Chage before incorporation in the work. M & L for preparation of new or previously untreated steel or iron surfaces of any description over 10cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed.
M&L for Preparation of flooring surface, making the surface contamination free such as oil, grease, mortar and paint splashes by grinding the surface and scrifying the whole surface. All surface shall be made dust, free by vaccum and cleaning the same. The Process shall be completed with following steps :- (a) Application of primer : Supply and application of primer Nitoprime 25, after thoroughly mixing the base and hardener using a heavy duty slow speed drilling machine fitted with a paddle until a homogeneous mix is obtained, over the prepared surface to in a thin continuous film using a stiff brush/roller. (b) Application of Screed : Supply and application of Nitoflor TF5000 screed after mixing the base, hardener, and filler until a homogeneous, lump free mix is obtained. The mixed hardener material shall be poured on the primed surface and spread slowly and evenly to a thickness of 3 mm using a serrated steel trowel. The materialshall be tamped with a wooden float to ensure complete compaction and finally finished to a closed even texture using a steel trowel. Screeding rods shall be useful to maintain a minimum compacted thickness of 3 mm. The flooring system shall have compressive strength of 70 N/mm2 with tensile strength 14 N/mm2 with flexural strength 25 N/mm2. (c) Providing Earthing : After the primershall be achieved a tack free state, apply proper earthing and joint connections. (d) Application of Undercoat : Supply and application of Nitoflor SL Conductive Undercoat, after mixing the base and hardener thoroughly as described above, over the primed surface using roller/brush @ 6-7 m2 per kg. (e) Application of Topcoat : Supply and application of Nitoflor SL Conductive Topcoat, after mixing the base, hardener, colour paste and filler until a homogeneous, lump free mix is obtained. The mixed material shall be poured on the primed surface and spread slowly and evenly to a thickness of 2 mm using a serrated steel trowel. Immediately after spreading, the floor shall be firmly rolled with a spike roller to release any entrapped air and level any slight trowel marks. The flooring system shall have compressive strength of 50 N/mm2 with tensile strength 16 N/mm2 with flexural strength 34 N/mm2 and temperature resistance upto 80 degree centigrade.
M & L for two coats of fire resisting paint on walls of any description wood, steel, iron, concrete, brick, stone, etc., exceeding 10cm in width or girth including one coat of alkali resistant primer after complete removal of existing treatment complete all as specified and as directed

Providing and Laying Dry lean Concrete (DLC) 100 mm thick in a single layer of aggregate gradation as per Table 1 of SP 49:2014 having 7 day average compressive strength not less than 7 MPa Minimum cemen content not less than 140 Kg/Cum DLC mixed in Batching Plant, transported to site and laid by electron ic sensor paver including spreading and compacting usign high amplitude tamping bars of paver (initial compaction) further by double drum smooth wheeled vibratory rollers with 80-100 KN static weight to achieve minimum dry density not less than 98% of maximum Dry Density, necessary finishing etc complete all as specified and tolerances to be as per Table 900-1 of MoRTH specifications for Road and Bridge work 2013 etc complete all as specified and directed.
M&l for pavement quality concrete (PQC) of thickness 25 cm or less and having minimum 28 days field texural strength of 40 kg/Sq cm having aggregate gradation as per Table 3 of IRC 15:2017, coarse aggregate of clean, hard, strong, dense nan-porus and durable pieces of crushed stone or gravel, fine aggregate of clean natural sand or crushed stone and combination of both, using minimum 400Kg/cum of cement content with non circular synthetic fibre (fibres shall be as per specifications given by E-in-C's Branch). M&L for maintenance free chemical earthing using isogel of Tercel or equivalent of Eric or Unitech or JMV LPS limited, earth enhancing compound 40 Kg use of 3 copper rods of 16mm dia 3 mtr long and place this in 65mm bore pack filled with mixture of isogel and soil, below in the ground and back filled with mixture of isogel and soil. The connection of copper strip with the rod shall be down Bi-Metallic "U" clamps. One 25mm x 3mm copper strip shall be used to extend the earth point upto the test point made of brass of size 120mm x 120mm x 25mm in IP 55 enclosure. The earth pit chamber cover shall be made of plastic material. It is to be ensured and tested that earth resistance shall be less than 1 ohm complete all as specified and as directed. Note : (a) Proper earthing pit should be provided with pit cover (b) Excavation/earthwork is deemed to be included in the quoted rate (c) In case of desired test result is not achieved, the earthing shall be redone with out any extra cost to the department.
