REPAIR/ MAINT OF STREET LIGHTS, GARDEN LIGHTS, DECORATIVE LIGHTS AND OTHER CONNECTED ITEMS AT MES IB, OFFICERS MESS AND VIP BUNGLOWS UNDER GE (WEST) COLABA, MUMBAI

Repair / maintenance of street / security/Garden lights any type, flood lights, post top lanterns or any other external lights in its position fixed on pole / high mast / building structure or by taking down to ground, if required, testing all the components / parts, wiring etc, identifying and replacing the defective components like, electronic driver (in case of LED lights), connector, connection wires/ cable, MCB etc including refixing the fitting to its original position (if taken down), including repair / maint of street light control timer & junction box. Note: (i) The rate against the above mentioned item is deemed for cost of labour and allied expenses only. (ii) Spares such as, electronic driver, connector, connection wire, MCB, timer spares etc) replaced against above mentioned item will be measured & paid for separately under respective items of BOQ here-in-below. (iii) The contractor's representative will report to concerned JE E/M at 0900 hrs daily to collect the list of defective lights fittings and will submit the completion report as per complaints received on the same day before 1730hrs to the JE E/M. (iv) The contractor has to rectify the defects / repair and make the street light functional within 24 hours from the time the list of defective street lights is handed over to him / his rep by the concerned JE E/M. In case the street light is not made functional for whatsoever reason within the specified time limit, an amount of Rs 150/- per such defective street light per day will be recovered from the amount due to him through RAR / Final Bill. The contractor shall carry out repair / maint work simultaneously for different areas by engaging separate team of electricians / technicians for DLRL area in order to ensure prompt & timely rectification of defects.(v) Contractor shall arrange requisite and cost sufficient number of transport and vehicle mounted hydraulic ladder at his own cost wherever required.(vi) The contractor shall maintain proper record of repair / maintenance in a binded register duly bringing out the details of spares replaced on each and every street light and get it authenticated from concerned JE E/M on daily basis. The contractor shall put up the maintenance record register to Engineer-in-charge for inspection on every Monday or as and when asked for.(vii) The contractor shall be fully responsible for the safety of his men engaged for executing this work and he will provide all requisite safety equipments and department shall not be responsible for any kind of mishap / accident / injury to his men. (viii) The contractor shall maintain sufficient stock of spares / material required for repair / maintenance of street lights with the concerned JE E/M against the supply only items here-in-below.

Cutting/ trimming / punning tree branches overhanging or interfering or obstructing electrical pole or street lights in such a way that the clearance between Street light pole and tree branches should not be less than 3 mtrs around the Pole/Fitting complete all as specified and directed. (Note: Quoted rate is deemed to include necessary hydraulic ladder arrangement and tree cutting machine and tools required at site.)

Supply and lay cable insulated screened PVC bedded, unarmoured, sheathed, electric power cables 1100 volts grade with stranded copper conductor of size 1.5 Sqmm X 3 core for connecting up to post top lantern, garden light and looping box complete all as specified and directed .

Supply and lay cable insulated screened PVC bedded, unarmoured, sheathed, electric power cables 1100 volts grade with stranded copper conductor of size 2.5 Sqmm X 3 core for connecting up to post top lantern, garden light and looping box complete all as specified and directed .

Taking down old UNSV burnt cable 1.5 sqmm to 6 sqmm size complete all as specified and directed .

Supply and fix LT XLPE insulated screened, PVC bedded galvanized steel strip or wire armoured electric power cable heavy duly , IS-7098 Part-II, with stranded aluminum conductor LT 1100 volts grade of size 35 Sqmm X 4 core with lugs and ferrules of suitable size complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix LT XLPE insulated screened, PVC bedded galvanized steel strip or wire armoured electric power cable heavy duly , IS-7098 Part-II, with stranded aluminum conductor LT 1100 volts grade of size 25 Sqmm X 4 core with lugs and ferrules of suitable size complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix LT XLPE insulated screened, PVC bedded galvanized steel strip or wire armoured electric power cable heavy duly , IS-7098 Part-II, with stranded aluminum conductor LT 1100 volts grade of size 16 Sqmm X 4 core with lugs and ferrules of suitable size complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix LT XLPE insulated screened, PVC bedded galvanized steel strip or wire armoured electric power cable heavy duly, IS-7098 Part-II, with stranded aluminum conductor LT 1100 volts grade of size 10 Sqmm X 4 core with lugs and ferrules of suitable size complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix cable LT XLPE insulated screened, PVC bedded galvanized steel strip or wire armoured electric power cable heavy duly, IS-7098 Part-II, with stranded aluminum conductor LT 1100 volts grade of size 10 Sqmm X 2 core with lugs and ferrules of suitable size complete all as specified and directed.
