REPAIR / RECRAPETING OF ROAD AND OTHER CONNECTED WORKS UNDER 230 SU AT AIR FORCE STAION AMRITSAR

M & L for repairs to pot holes any depth n, exc 1 Sqm each incl sweeping free from dust and mud or water scoring sunken surface in roads, paths, etc cutting around edges to at least 30mm in depth making good fiting in screened and graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal).

Scarifying or picking gravelled macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces exceeding 50mm but not exceeding 100mm deep, area not exc 400 Sqm by means of mechanical scarifier complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Rate quoted by contractor shall deemed to be included for removal of rubble/debris outside MoD land

M&L for providing Premixed bitumenous macadam not exceeding 75mm thick using paving bitumen @ 4% (VG-30) binder content by weight of total mix using 12 to 25mm graded crushed stone aggregate mixed in computerized hot mix plant, laid, rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber with mechanical paver and power roller 8 to 10 tonne capacity complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with air compressor to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming/tack coat using paving bitumen of grade VG-10 @ 5 kg/10 sqm complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for premixed semi dense asphaltic concrete 30 mm thick consolidated thickness, using combined graded aggregate i.e. crushed stone coarse aggregate, fine aggregate (sand) & filler (inherent filler/OPC 43 grade) of physical properties as specified (refer SSR Part-I of 2009), pre-heated, mixed with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix using VG-30 grade bitumen, laid with mechanical paver, rolled & compacted to a uniform smooth surface with 8 to 12 tonne capacity tendom vibratory roller used in static mode complete all as specified and as directed. Notes:- (i) Thickness of semi dense asphaltic concrete and quantities of materials as mentioned in particular specifications/SSR are the minimum. The quoted rate shall also be deemed to include for provision of more materials in comparison to those mentioned/specified in the item, if required, to achieve the required level, gradient, camber and shape all as directed by the AGE (I)/GE. (ii) Hot mix plant of adequate capacity shall be used for heating and mixing crushed stone coarse aggregate, fine aggregate and binder (bitumen). Semi dense asphaltic concrete shall be laid in single layer with self propelled mechanical paver all as directed by the AGE (I)/GE. (iii) Contractor’s quoted rates shall be deemed to include all these aspects. (iv) The job design mix formula shall be carried out from the approved lab and be got approved from the AGE (I)/GE before commencement of the work.

M&L for painting 2mm thick with thermoplast fluorescent paint of colour white or golden yellow or any other shade conforming to BS standard 3262 with 20% glass beads (inter mixed) applied hot with automatic (commercial) machine drive in strips after preparation of surfaces as per manufacturer’s instructions & according to the specifications laid down by IRC & MOST (Ministry Of Surface Transport)- Specifications 2001 (4th revision), making lines, broken lines/dashes, arrows etc. on roads and other like surfaces not exceeding 10 cm in width or girth complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing solar cat eye aluminium alloy shall (100% water proofing design according to IP67) of size 125mm x 125mm x 25 mm (Shank 65 mm ) of high efficiency mono rystafie solar pael 2.4 V/0.3 watt onr NI-ed rechargeable battery (1.2V/1600MA ) cosisiting of super bright LED with 10000 to 18000 mcd complete as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and directed .

Supply and fixing metal tubular dealineator made out of ABS round body fitted with 2 Nos 65 mm dia highly reflective reflectors made out of PMMA and mounted on 45/50 mm dia mild steel pipe of 600 mm height duly powder coated and thermo plastic elastomer 3 bands of green, red and yellow reflector radium tape of 25 mm wide strips with anti theft steel net for reflector protection including embedding in PCC 1:2:4 (150x150x300mm) type B1 complete all as specified and directed

Supply and fixing in repair polycarbonate traffic safety convex mirror of 800mm dia fixed over post of 60mm dia upto a height of 1.5 metre from GL, made of MS pipe painted in Red colour, having 130 degrees viewing, including necessary earthwork excavation and PCC 1:2:4 of size 300mm x 300mm x 500mm, complete all as specified and directed. Make:- Green Lights or equivalent as approved by AGE(I)

Supply and fixing in repair ABS speed breaker/Rubber Rumbler light duty of height 50mm and of size 750mm x 250mm each in two colours (Black & Yellow), fixed alternately with reflectors on either side complete fixed with epoxy and bolts 6mm diax 100mm long fasteners by drilling as per manufacturer's instruction complete all as specified and as directed. Make:Dark Eye or equivalent in makes as approved by AGE(I)
