M & L for scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exceeding 400 sqm complete all as specified and directed. Exceeding 50mm and not exceeding 100mm deep

M & L for screening road metal, chippings etc on the site of the work, when specially ordered including removing screened materials clear of screen and stacking in separate heaps for measuring (Materials from both sides of screen measured)

M & L for 75mm thick (compacted thickness) WBM, in Kankar or laterite with coarse aggregate of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) of grading 3 (50 to 20mm size) spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient materials and camber required complete all as specified and directed

All as per Item No 03 above but except materials complete all as specified and directed

M & L for preparing unsurfaced water bound macadam surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc complete all as specified and directed

M & L for applying evenly a priming / tack coat with bitumen @ 10 Kg per 10 Sqm complete all as specified and directed

Repair to pot holes any depth, not exceeding 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & grade road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) and applying evenly a priming coat (using paving bitumen grade VG-10) with bituminous primer @ 10 Kg per 10 Sqm etc complete all as specified and directed

M & L for preparing of existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc complete all as specified and directed

M & L for applying evenly a priming / tack coat with bitumen @ 5 Kg per 10 Sqm complete all as specified and directed

M & L for open graded premixed carpeting 40mm thick using waste plastic *8% by weight of bitumen) quoted aggregates and bituminous binder of grade VG - 30 as per IRC SP 98 2013. Premixed bituminous carpet 40mm thick composed of 13.2 mm graded size @ 0.36 cum per 10 Sqm and 11.2 mm graded aggregate size and 0.18 cum per 10 Sqm, preheating aggregates to the required temperature and mixing with 2.336 kg shredded plastic (8% waste processed plastic by weight shall be used for coating aggregate after heating) and finally mixing with bituminous binder @ 26.864 Kg per 10 Sqm ie 92 % standard bitumen and all as per IRC SP 98 2013, laying to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for applying premixed sand seal coat with 0.06 cum of sand mixed with 6.8 kg of bitumen (paving bitumen VG-10 rolled) to a uniform smooth surface using 8 to 10 tonne power roller complete all as specified and directed

M & L for thermoplastic reflective paint for making 2.5mm minimum thickness of single coat in centre line and zebra crossing road marking of 100mm width (or any other width) on bituminous surfaces in white / yellow by indigenous modern propelled road marking including glass beads conforming to BS-6088 and MOST specifications cleaning all dirt, scales, grease and foreign material etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Premixed bituminous macadam laid / rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (Consolidated thickness 75mm or less) using with paving bitumen or any penetration of binder at 4% by weight of total mix complete all as specified and directed

Supply and fix in repairs solar road stud/cat eye of minimum size 125mm x125mm x 25mm made from aluminium alloy and solar powered by inbuilt solar panel with one high capacity Ni-Cd rechargeable battery provided with LEDs - 10mm, 3 pieces each side and total 6 pieces are used for high brightness with backup for 12 hours of continuous light all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Providing and fixing Glow studs of minimum size 100x100 and 20 mm thick made of heavy duty body shall be moulded ASA (Acrylic styrene Acryloretrite ) or HIP (High impact polystyrene) or ABS having electronically welded micro-prismatic lens with abrasion resistant coating as approved by Engineer in charge. The glow stud shall support a load of 13635 kg tested in accordance with ASTM D 4280. The slope of retro-reflective surface shall be 35 (+/-5) degrees to base. The reflective panels on both sides with at least 12cm of reflective area up each side. The luminance intensity should be as per the specification and shall be tested as described in ASTM I : 809 as recommended in BS: 873 part 4 : 1973. The studs shall be fixed to the Road surface using the adhesive conforming to IS, as per procedure recommended by the manufacturer complete and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
