PROVISION OF CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR AUGMENTATION AND UPGRADATION AT ND (MBI)

M&L providing consultancy services for preparation of preliminary Architect, and structural design with drawings, detailed architectural and structural design with drgs (proof checking and duly vetting by one of IIT Mumbai, IIT Kanpur, IIT Delhi, IIT Madras, IIT Kharagpur & IIT (ISM) Dhanbad), schedule of finishes, typical drawings, foundation details, design calculations, preparation of detailed estimate including SSR & Non SSR item, yardstick, plinth area rate, Abstract and market rate analysis of each item of all Sch 'A' including BOQ, taking of quantities and abstract priced on latest SSR and submission of detailed market rate analysis of each item including internal and external services with fitting and fixtures, circuit diagram, schematic diagram alongwith quotations complete for the purposed construction of infrastructure at ND Mumbai as per BP . The detailed scope of work is as follows :-

(a) Demolition of old/existing Building. (b) Construction of workshop building Ground Floor with clear height of 6 m and first, second and third floor of height 5 m with total plinth area of 6720 sqm and ramp of total plinth area 900 sqm incl external. (c) Construction of underground water tank 1 Lakh Litre (d) Design and drawings of foundation of equipment (scope of equipment installation as per Appx E) (e) External Electric Supply:- Comprehensive and all inclusive design and drawing and estimating(BOQ) of external electric supply system including LT Panel, LT Cable etc to project& cater for meeting the electric requirements of complete Equipment/Machineries. Site plan duly shown with Existing source, cable routing, Panels, Road cutting etc to be provided. Electric Load Calculations, Voltage drop calculations, Cable selection etc to be provided. Requisite site data & Approximate Estimate/BPs shall be collected from GE DD Office.

(f) External Water Supply (Upto Overhead Tank) Comprehensive all inclusive design and drawing and estimating (BOQ) of external water supply including, Pipe lines, Valves, Chambers etc to cater for meeting water requirement of complete project. Site plan duly shown with existing source pipe routing valves, Valve chambers, Road cutting etc to be provided. Water requirement Calculations Friction loss calculations, Head calculations ete to be provided. Requisite site data & Approximate Estimate/BPs shall be collected from GE DD Office. (g) Firefighting and fire alarm:- Complete design and drawing & estimating(BOQ) of firefighting & fire alarm system as per CFEES Report/guidelines, National Building Construction Standards 2026 etc. Consultant to submit all the requisite drawings, layouts, Calculation BOQ etc to the user through GE (DD) for obtaining CFEES Report/clearance Consultant to incorporate all the recommendations of CFEES in drawing, layout, BOQ etc. Requisite site data & Approximate Estimate/BPs shall be collected from GE DD Office.

(h) Lift :-Complete design and drawing and estimating(BOQ) of lift, Consultant to submit all the requisite drawings layouts Calculations BOQs Electric supply etc. Requisite site data & Approximate Estimate/BPs shall be collected from GE DD Office. (i) internal Electric Supply:- Comprehensive and all inclusive design and drawing and estimating(BOQ) of internal electric supply system including Distribution boards, Submain wiring, Point wiring Fans, 5A Sockets, 15A Sockets, Air Conditioner/Water cooler sockets, Power outlets for Equipment/Machineries, Light fittings etc to cater for meeting the requirements of complete project & Equipment/Machineries. Internal electrification layout complete duly shown with Light fittings, 5A & 15A Sockets, Fans, DBs, Air Conditioners, Machineries/Equipment, wiring etc to be provided. Electric Load Calculations, Voltage drop calculations, Inventory Sheet for all the electric fittings, circuit diagram, single line diagram etc.to be provided. Requisite site data & BPs shall be collected from GE DD Office. (j) Preparation of preliminary Architectural and obtaining approval from CFEES, preparation of detailed architectural drgs and schedule of finishes, typical drawings etc subject to the scope detailed.

(k) Preparation of structural design with drawings, (proof checking and duly vetting any one of IIT Mumbai, IIT Kanpur, IIT Delhi, IIT Madras, IIT Kharagpur & IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, typical drawings, foundation details ,design calculations, foundation drawings equipment subject to the scope detailed. (l) The consultant shall mandatorily submit costed schedules of works along with a comprehensive comparative statement for the subject work, namely - Schedules shall be prepared in consultation with the GE and shall be accompanied by detailed rate analysis for all non-DSR items for obtaining technical sanction. The consultant shall ensure that all rates, specifications, quantities and analysis are technically sound duly justified and in conformity with prevailing standard and departmental norms. The report, along with the aforesaid schedules, comparative statement, detailed specifications and supporting documents, shall be submitted only after obtaining approval from the planning and works section any omission, discrepancy, unsupported rate or deviation from prescribed norms shall be liable for rejection and the consultant shall be responsible for rectification without any additional financial implication to the department.

Mobilization of boring equipment and necessary skilled workers to the locations and between the boreholes. Note: Rate also includes for shifting the rig between locations and demobilization of the same on completion of Job.

Material and Labor for drilling 150mm diameter bore holes as per IS Specification to conduct various test including Standard Penetration Test (SPT). (a) Bore Hole (i) No of bore holes = 02 (ii) Depth of Each bore hole = 20m or upto refusal (n>50) or 3 m in rock whichever meet first

Trail Pit = 01 No. of Trail Pit size 1.2mx1.2m x3m depth, 5m away from the bore holes (both centrally placed)

(i) Natural moisture content. (ii) Bulk density. (iii) Specific gravity. (iv) Free swell index and swelling properties of soil. (v) Organic matter in soil if any. (vi) Consolidation test (compressed index value). (vii) Triaxial compression test and determination of shear parameters (C&O test) as per relevant IS. (viii) Harmful salt (complete investigation as already ref.) (d) Ground water Table:- (i) Maximum and minimum levels of ground water in area with source of information (ii) Ground water Table during the investigations. (e) Submission of six copies of ink signed test reports with detailed description of field investigation, soil classification and general nature of soil strata, water table, interpretation of test results, grains size distribution curves, compressive index curves, site plan etc.
