REPAIR/REPLACEMENT OF ROOF SHEET AND ROOF TREATMENT OT CERTAIN BUILDINGS IN DOMESTIC AND TECHNICAL AREA AT AFS PURNEA UNDER AGE (I) (AF) PURNEA

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) for Roofs, floors (other than ground floors), beams, staircases, landing, chajjas and similar suspended work complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of brick work built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar any description complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Cement concrete type B-1, 1:2:4 (20 mm graded aggregate) 25mm thick in roof/floor all as specified and directed.

M&L Screed bed or bedding layer 15 mm thick of cement mortar 1:4 with using WPC) for laying floor /roof finishes. (Note-WPC shall be mesured and paid separately)

M&L Wire brushing and cleaning top surface of tiles, lime terracing or cement concrete, including flashings and junction of parapets, etc, and surface paining, with a layer of blown bitumen of any penetration applied hot @ 1.7 kg per sqm, blinded with grit or pea size gravel @ 0.006 cum per sqm and lightly tampered (area of flashings etc shall be added to the roof area).complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for APP based polymeric membrane minimum weighting 3 kg/sqm and minimum 3 mm thick reinforced with polyster non wove fabric (wt not less than 150 gms/sqm) laid on primed surface by forced (torch) application. Side over laps shall be minimum 75mm and the end laps shall be minimum 100mm and sealing of all over laps & joints as per manufacturers instructions.complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Brickwork with subclass ‘B’ bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius built in cement mortar 1:6.complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling of old plain or corrugated steel sheeting or pre painter galvalume sheeting any gauge, thickness, including nainital or similar pattern of roof covering and segregating serviceable sheet, keeping them staked for reuse and unserviceable sheet removed from site of work complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Dismantling of old asbestos cement (Corrugated/ semi corrugated etc) sheet in roof covering fixed in any position with L hooks/J hooks/nails including capping to ridges and hips and remove materials from site of work complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F Pre- painted galvalume aluminum zinc coating GI based corrugated steel sheet 0.50mm thick of any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering/cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws, J hooks etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. (Make : Tata luescope/Jindal/Hindalco/Cril).

Pre-painted galvalume aluminum zinc coating GI based Plain steel sheet 0.50mm thick of any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering/cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws, J hooks etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. (Make : Tata luescope/Jindal/Hindalco/Cril).

S & F 6mm thick corrugated or semi-corrugated asbestos cement sheets in roofs, walls etc with L- type or J- type or cranked hook bolts complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S & F 6mm thick corrugated or semi-corrugated asbestos cement sheets in ridge etc with L- type or J- type or cranked hook bolts complete all as specified & diretced by Engr-in-Charge.

Dismantling wrought iron or mild steel works of any description not otherwise provided for and remove materials from site of work, complete all as directed.

S & F mild steel Hand rails, half round or other stock section or core for wooden hand-rail straight portion,drilled and countersunk for balusters running bars, fordoors, balusters, nosing to steps including embeding in concreteand screwing etc. wind ties for roof including securing bolts joist, channel, angle, or tee sections, fixed independently, without connecting plates, etc. (cut to ordinary lengths i.e. within 20mm of the length indicated) of Fe-290, (Gde E-165) complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer on new steel surface exc 10 cm width or girth ,not other wise described including preparation of steel surfaces complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer on old steel surface exc 10 cm width or girth ,not other wise described includingc complete removal of existing treatment of steel surfaces. complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Disconnecting existing PVC water tank of capacity Exc 500 Litre and not Exceeding 1000 Ltr setting aside (or lowering if required) for repairs, cleaning etc and hoisting if required reconnecting and re-fixing in position including cleaning and removing all scale and dirt etc from tanks and from mouths of circulating pipes etc all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Taking down cement plaster of any description, including racking out joints hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc complete on walls.complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 15 mm thick rendering in CM 1:4 in two layers of 10mm+5mm each using water proofing compound in top layer only incl. finishing the surface even and smooth without using extra cement (Note-WPC shall be measured and paid seperately)

Supply only liquid water proofing compound (integral) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Preparation of new plastered surface of wall and applying two coats of exterier acrylic paint (wheather base) over a coat of wall primer complete all as specified & diretced by Engr-in-Charge. Note:-The contract sum shall be arrieved at after deducting amount of schedule of credit from the total quated amount.
