Excavation in Hill area by manual/mechanical means:- Excavation in soil in hill areas all heights and depth in all kind of soil including saturated soil comprising of mixed soil, ordinary rock and hardd rock all work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion, damage to hill side, water pollution etc. and to protect stability of hill side. Rock shall be excavated with chiselling and wedging out rock( where blasting is prohibited) including cutting and trimming of side slopes and disposing of excavated earth with a lift upto all heights and all leads as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge, in conformately with the requirement of technical specification of rural roads clause 1603.1 all useful material such as stone, shingle, aggregates& slate etc. shall be sorted out and stacked along the road side properly. Any loss to the public and private property to during the course of execution shall be the absoulte responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases.

Earth work in excavation for structure in all depth as per drawing and technical specification Clause 305-1 including setting out, construction of shoring and bracin , removal of stumps and other deleterious material and disposal in all lead and lift including dressisng of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable material . Providing and laying cement concrete 1:6:12 (1 cement:6 sand : 12 graded stone 40mm agregate nominal size) for plain/reinforced concrete in open foundations complete as per drawing and technical specification clauses 802,803, 1202 and 1203.including the cost of form work and hauling of material in all leads and lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing concrete for plain/reinforced concrete in open foundation complete as per drawing and technical specification clause 802,803,1202 & 1203. P.C.C. M-10 (1) mechanical mix and vibrated graded crushed stone aggregate (1:3:6)including carriage of materials through all modes of transportatoin with in all leads and lifts as per PWD specification and ad per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying cement concrete in retaining walls, return walls, walls (any thickness) including attached pilasters, columns, piers, abutments, pillars, posts, struts, buttresses, string or lacing courses, parapets, coping, bed blocks, anchor blocks, plain window sills, fillets, sunken floor etc., up to floor five level, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering and finishing 1:1½:3 (1 cement : 1½ coarse sand) : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size). including hauling of material in all leads and lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Reinforced cement concrete work in beams, suspended floors, roofs having slope up to 15° landings, balconies, shelves, chajjas, lintels, bands, plain window sills, staircases and spiral stair cases above plinth level up to floor five level, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement with 1:1.5:3 (1 cement : 1.5 coarse sand) : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size). including hauling of material in all leads and lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Supplying fitting and placing HYSD bars reinforcement complete in super structure as per drawing and technical specification clauses 1002, 1010 and 1202 including caariage of material within all leads and lifts and other incidentals and as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Backfilling behind abutment, wing wall and return wall complete as per drawings and technical specification clause 1204.3.8 with granular material including hauling of material in all leads and lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
