M&L in replacement for laying, jointing and testing XLPE insulated, armoured heavy duty electric cable with aluminium conductor, 1100 volts grade, cross-sectional area 400 sqmm x 3.5 Core in trench/ on pole/ in duct complete all as specified and directed. Note:- 1. The cost of required thimbles / clamps / fastner and cable gland etc is included in quoted rate and no extra payment will be made for it. 2. Excavation, earth work, sand cushioning, cable cover and Cable joints will be measured and paid separately under respective items of this sch. 3. Excavation works are to be executed manually only. The use of mechanical equipment is strictly prohibited, as the site conditions do not permit mechanized operations.

Taking down of UG, LT XLPE armoured cable of any size from trench, wall, drain and agnle iron support carefully with out damaging the cable insulation and relaying the same in trench, wall, drain and angle iron support after meggering, testing the conductor & Polarity test and insulation test incl all supporting accessories i.e. angle iron frame of suitable size, fastener, nut, bolts & washer complete all as directed by Engr-in-charge current continuity. Note:- Earth work to be measured saperaterly and paid under the sch of items.

Material & Labour for road cutting, including excavation, returning filling in, spreading, leveling well ramming in layers, soling with broken boulders/stones, WBM 7.5 cm thick coarse aggregate received from dismentling the existing road, premix, carpeting 25 mm thick using ready mix patch mate material or with PCC, rolled and compacted for road patch repair work, complete all as directed. Note:- Road cutting to be carried out at site by road cutter.

S&F in replacement of GI pipe of 80 mm nominal dia light grade with all fittings laid in trenches or under road crossing or fixed to walls/poles with clamps nuts, bolts and washers complete all as specified and directed.

Excavating in trenches in hard /dense soil, not exceeding 1.5 meter wide and not exceeding 1.5 meter in depth and getting out complete all as specified and directed. Note : Excavation to be done manually.

Material and labour for sand cushioning with layer of sand 8cm thick before laying of cable and 15cm after laying of cable in trenches complete all as specified and directed.

Relaying of brick of any shape and size use in old cable as protection cable cover retrieved from item No 6 to 8 only the bricks not brick bats/damaged brick in trenches for cable protection complete all as specified and directed.
