Dismantling of Curtain Wall Glazing, Glasses & ACP Sheets and Re-fixing the same including replacement of double sided spacer tape, setting blocks, backer rod & sealant of approved grade, brand and manufacture, within and all around the perimeter for holding glass and other accessories such as aluminium cleats, sleeves and splice plates, gaskets, screws, toggles, nuts, bolts, clamps, structural and weather silicone sealants, flashings, fire stop (barrier)-cum-smoke seals, microwave cured EPDM gaskets for water tightness, pressure equalisation & drainage and protection against fire hazard (if required as per site condition). This item includes cost for brakage of glass & replacement of unserviceable accessories during instalation of glazed units, T & P , Scaffolding and other incidental charges including wastages etc. and machinery such as cranes or cradles/boomlifts, cost of all mockups at site etc all complete. The Contractor shall provide a water tight structural glazing having all the performance characteristics etc. all complete as required, as per the item description, as specified and as directed by the Engineer- in-Charge. The agency shall also provide performance warranty for 01 year from the date of completion of work.

Steel work in built up tubular (round, square or rectangular hollow tubes etc.) trusses etc., including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer, including welding and bolted with special shaped washers etc. complete. Hot finished seamless type tubes

Providing and fixing stainless steel ( Grade 316) railing/columns/truss work made of Hollow tubes, pipes, channels, plates etc., including welding, grinding, buffing, polishing and making curvature (wherever required) and fitting the same with necessary stainless steel nuts and bolts complete, i/c fixing the railing with necessary accessories & stainless steel dash fasteners , stainless steel bolts etc., of required size, on the top of the floor or the side of waist slab with suitable arrangement as per approval of Engineer-incharge, (for payment purpose only weight of stainless steel members shall be considered excluding fixing accessories such as nuts, bolts, fasteners etc.). This item includes cost for instalation glazed units, T & P , Scaffolding and other incidental charges including wastages etc. and machinery such as hydra, cranes or cradles/boomlifts, cost of all mockups at site.

Providing, Executing & Fixing Overhead Glass Canopy Structure comprising of 15.52mm thick laminated clear float glass made by sandwiching a laminated sheet of polyvinyl butryl (PVB) of thickness 1.52mm between 8mm and 6mm clear toughened glass of reputed makes like Saint Gobain, Pilkingston, Guardian (USA), AIS Glass Solutions Ltd., Emirates Glass LLC, Glaverbel Modi Guard OR equivalent make as approved by Engineer In-Charge duly supported on Stainless Steel frame work used at each joint to provide lateral stiffness against wind loading, deflections, etc. as per codal provisions expected on entire structure including supports. The assembling and fixing of the glass canopy shall use standard accessories and hardware's of Dorma India Pvt. Ltd (Rodan-I series), Q-Railing India Pvt. Ltd.(formerly D-Line), Hafele India Pvt. Ltd., GEZE GmbH, Linox Technology Pvt. Ltd., AssaAbloy, Kich Architectural Products Pvt. Ltd., Godrej & Boyce or equivalent make as approved by Engineer In-Charge. The required nos. of single arm truss spider, two arm 180 degree truss spider, four arm truss spider, routel-button head, BHFB bolts or any other accessories & hardware as per approved structural design shall be provided to ensure better strength, sleek designs and aesthetic features. The fittings used shall be manufactured through investment casting process or as per latest technology in Stainless Steel grade 316. All the fittings shall be complete with all required accessories to meet the structural design requirements. The required EPDM washers between glass and metal and also Derlin bush be used at glass holes. The spring washer confirming to SS316 acting as locking mechanism to secure nut in place, ensuring full tightness shall be provided. The structural sealants of DOW Corning of DC 789/Sika Elastosil 305, Whacker or approved equivalent make , fasteners and weather elements shall be provided to ensure canopy is completely water proof. Supply and installation of laminated glass of 15.52 mm included 8mm thick saint gobain clear toughened + 1.52 mm PBV + 6 mm clear toughened glass along with required cuttings/holes/bending…etc, as per specifications and approved design.

Providng structural design & drawing of complete structure for Remote Boarding Gate Overhed Glass Canopy to be supported on structural steel supports of NITB using conceptual architectural drawings. The design shall ensure the stability of the entire structure and be done by reputed structural consultant as approved by Engineer In Charge (This consultancy covers item No.2,3 & 4 of SOQ). The conceptual drawings is for reference only and the any alteration/modification to the existing structure, required to ensure the structural stability is deemed to be included in the scope of structural design and nothing extra shall be payable in this regard. The structural design and drawings shall be vetted by NIT or Govt. Engg College of repute as approved by engineer-in-charge. The design and drawing so submitted and vetted shall be submitted to Engineer-in-charge before execution of work for his approval within 30 days from the date of issue of work order. After approval of structural design and drawing by AAI, consultant has to submit 5(five) sets of detailed working drawings showing complete details including various joints, connection of Canopy to NITB and shop drawings of Steel Structure and Spider Glazing etc, details of Steel structural as well as canopy frame in all respect complete. Consultant shall also submit any other details required relevant to the scope and completion of work.
