REPAIR/MAINTENANCE OF INTERNAL ROADS AND ROAD FURNITURE AT HATTIGOR MIL STN UNDER GE RANGIA

M & L for repairs to pothole any depth, not exc 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth making making good by applying tack coat of cationi emulsion RS I Grade @ 2.5 Kg per 10 Sqm, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder9.8 kg per 10 sq m, blinded with0.09 cu m of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed(including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings).good by filling in screened & complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for preparing of existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc all as specified and directed.

M&L for applying for applying evenly a priming/tack coat with RS I grade cationi emulsion @ 2.5 Kg per 10 Sqm using mechanical sprayer on black top surface, complete all as specified and directed..

M & L for bituminous premix asphaltic semidense concrete 40 mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content of paving bitumen VG-30 grade by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted, mixed in mechanical hot mixed plant and premixed material, laid with mechanical paver finished including rolling to required camber and gradient complete with 8 to 10 tone power roller to required compaction complete all as specified and directed. Notes:- The contractor's quoted rates shall also be deemed to include the following elements: (i) The contractor shall get the mix design done through National Test House, SEMT wing CME, Regional Research Labs, IITs, National Institutes of Technology, Govt Engineering College or any Govt laboratories and the same shall be got approved from the GE before providing Bituminous Macadum. (ii) In case of variation in the bitumen content as per approved design mix in comparison with the bitumen content as specified above, the variation in quantity of bitumen shall be adjusted @ Rs.42 per Kg.

M & L for premix bituminous, macadam with 4% by weight of total mix using paving bitumen VG-30 grade, laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) complete all as directed. Notes:- The contractor's quoted rates shall also be deemed to include the following elements: (i) The contractor shall get the mix design done through National Test House, SEMT wing CME, Regional Research Labs, IITs, National Institutes of Technology, Govt Engineering College or any Govt laboratories and the same shall be got approved from the GE before providing Bituminous Macadum. (ii) In case of variation in the bitumen content as per approved design mix in comparison with the bitumen content as specified above, the variation in quantity of bitumen shall be adjusted @ Rs.42 per Kg.

M & L for painting lines, dashes , arrows, letters, etc on roads, pavements and the like exc 10cm wide with thermolplastic paint 2mm thick , white or golden yellow or as directed by GE complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in repairs metal tubular dealineator made out of ABS round body fitted with 2 Nos 65 mm dia highly reflective reflectors made out of PMMA and mounted on 45/50 mm dia mild steel pipe of 600 mm height duly powder coated and thermo plastic elastomer 3 bands of green, red and yellow reflector radium tape of 25 mm wide strips with anti theft steel net for reflector protection including embedding in PCC 1:2:4 (150x150x300mm) type B1 complete all as specified and directed

S&F in repair for USA brand marker (CAT EYE) size 100x100x18.5 mm, body made of carbonate with electronically prismatic ratro reflecting lines on both side for maximum ratro reflecting in wet & dry condition, with adhesive/epoxy for road indicator '3M' marker series 290 or equivalent of standard size complete all as specified and directed.

S&F solar road pavement markers (solar stud) of approved colour and size 113x90x25 mm with 6 LED flat base fixed on bituminous / concrete surfaces complete all as directed in repairs.

NOTES :- 1. For the items for which specifications not mentioned any where in the tender, the IRC specifications shall be followed. 2. Unless otherwise specified the rates for PCC shall deemed to include the cost of formwork shuttering etc., required for complete and proper execution of the work. Refer Schedule "A" notes for details. 3. The contract sum shall be calculated by deducting the amount shown in Credit Schedule attached to this tender, from total amount of Schedule 'A'/BOQ.
