M&L for APP (Atactic Polypropylene Polymer) modified prefabricated five layer 3 mm thick water proofing membrane, black finished reinforced with non-woven polyester matt consisting of a coat of bitumen primer for bitumen membrane @ 0.40 litre/sqm by the same membrane manufacture of density at 25°C, 0.87-0.89 kg/ litre and viscosity 70-160 cps. Over the primer coat the layer of membrane shall be laid using butane torch and sealing all joints etc, and preparing the surface complete. The vital physical and chemical parameters of the membrane shall be as under : Joint strength in longitudinal and transverse direction at 23°C as 650/ 450N/ 5cm. tear strength in longitudinal and transverse direction as 300/250N. Softening point of membrane not less than 150°C. Cold flexibility shall be upto -2°C when tested in accordance with ASTM, D - 5147. The laying of membrane shall be got done through the authorised applicator of the manufacturer of membrane. Two coats of aluminium paint @ 0.20 Kg/sqm shall be applied over APP membrane as per manufacturer instruction including taking down existing treatment complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for rendering 10 mm thick on brick work or concrete surfaces in cement mortar (1:3) finished surfaces even and smooth with integral water proofing compound complete all as specified and directed. (Note : Water proofing compound shall be measured and paid separately)

Dismantling and stripping the damaged concrete of Column, beam, and slab etc. incl. covering plaster by light chiselling and other manual methods until sound concrete surfaces come up. Any trace of loose plaster, oil / grease, and moss / funguses if any or other materials that might affect adhesion are to be removed by wire brushing. The entire exposed surface shall then be washed thoroughly with plenty of clean water and then allowed to dry. Smooth concrete surfaces if any to be roughened mechanically complete all as specified & directed.

Exposing the corroded reinforcement completely along its full circumference, cleaned to remove all loose scale and corrosion deposit applying rust removing chemical followed by removing the rust by emery paper and cleaning the area thoroughly by water and allow it to dry. Sand blasting to remove residual deposit if necessary as per directive of manufacturer's instruction complete all as specified & directed.

Supply and application of Epoxy Zinc rich primer on the prepared reinforcement surface by brush, upto 4 storey height, the primer should have a minimum Specific gravity 1.75 , Minimum wet film thickness/coat 100 microns & dry film thickness/coat 40 microns. Minimum adhesive bond strength with steel is 1.5 N/Sqmm complete all as per manufacturer's instructions & as directed.

Supply and application of new TMT bars of approved brand of requisite diameter by electro welding of length 50mm to 5d on both the sides with the existing bar to required size and shape at the portion where the existing reinforcement has lost half of its sectional area followed by a coat of Epoxy Zinc rich primer as per the manufacturer's specification and as directed.

Supply and Application of two component structural grade polymer modified reinstatement mortar where local spalling has taken place or shuttering is not possible. The mortar can be applied 15-20mm thickness in smaller vertical pockets. The mortar should have a minimum Compressive strength 12 N/Sqmm in 1 day and 45 N/Sqmm in 28 days. Minimum Flexural strength should be 8 N/Sqmm in 28 days. A modified styrene butadiene emulsion for use as a bonding aid and gauging liquid for cementitious systems to be mixed with cement slurry before the application of micro concrete to be used @ 6 litre/bag of cement. The bonding agent should have minimum Compressive strength 24 N/Sqmm. Minimum tensile Strength 3.5 N/Sqmm. and Minimum Flexural strength 6.5 N/Sqmm complete all as per manufacturer's instructions & as directed.

A general purpose epoxy bonding agent to be applied on the concrete surface before the application of mortar. The bonding agent should have minimum Compressive strength 40 N/Sqmm as per BS 6319 Part 2. Minimum Tensile Strength 15N/Sqmm as per BS6319 Part 7. Minimum Flexural Strength 25 N/Sqmm as per BS 6319 Part 3 and Minimum bond strength as per ASTM C881 11N/Sqmm complete all as per manufacturer's instructions & as directed.
