Disposal of all building rubbish/malba/similar unserviceable, dismantled or waste materials by mechanical means, including loading, transporting, unloading to approved corporation dumping ground outside IIT Madras campus or as approved by Engineer-in charge, beyond 50m initial lead, for all leads including all lifts involved. Contractor shall remove all debris generated during construction work

Dismantling doors, windows, Steel grills and clerestory windows (Steel or wood) shutter including chowkhats, Architrave, Holdfasts, etc. using required tools, complete and stacking within 50m lead : of area 3 sqm and below

Repairs to plaster of thickness 12 mm to 20 mm in patches of area 2.5 sq.meters and under, including cutting the patch in proper shape, raking out joints and preparing and plastering the surface of the walls complete, including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground, all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. With cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 fine sand)

Providing polymer modified mortar of CM 1:4 (1 Cement : 4 fine sand / M sand) of 30 mm in two coats ( each coat of 15mm thick) admixed with Nitobond SBR @ 6lts per bag of cement including applying a polymer based bonding agent Nitoband SBR @ 1:1:4 ratio on the plastered surface ( one part of Nito bond AR one part of water and four part of cement)- This is for the walls, floors and ceiling

Carrying out Micro-concreting as per the following technical specification. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION / WORK METHODOLOGY FOR MICRO-CONCRETE/ NON-SHRINK CONCRETE 1. The affected concrete member shall be cleaned thoroughly by wire brush cleaning and washed with copious amount of water by high pressure water-jetting. 2. Exposed reinforcement bars – if corroded shall be cleaned by manual wire-brush cleaning and applied with Concresive ZRi – Epoxy Zinc rich primer or NITO ZINC (fosroc) as per the Technical and application recommendations of the manufacturer and allowed to dry for atleast 24 hours. 3. Supplying and Applying Concresive 1414 / Nitobond EP – Epoxy based Bonding Agent over the above prepared Concrete using a stiff brush as per the Technical and Application recommendations of the manufacturer. 4. Supplying and Pouring Emaco S46T / Rendroc HB2 – Cementitious Non-shrink, Micro Concrete into the erected formwork, for a nominal thickness of 50mm and whilst the above Bonding agent is tacky, and as per the Technical and Application recommendations of the manufacturer. 5. The formwork/shuttering shall be removed the next day and cured by placing wet hessain bags over the treated member.

Providing and laying in position machine batched and machine mixed self compacting concrete of M-25 grade cement concrete using coarse aggregate of 6mm for reinforced cement concrete work, using cement content as per approved design mix, including pumping of concrete to site of laying including the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement, including admixtures in recommended proportions as per IS: 9103 to accelerate, retard setting of concrete, improve workability without impairing strength and durability as per direction of Engineer-in-charge - All works above plinth level upto floor V level. Contractor shall get the mix design approved before executing the work. Concrete shall be mixed at site using pan mixure.

Supplying and pouring chemical anchor fastener Lockfix of FOSROC or equivalent product for fixing reinforcement up to 16mm dia bars the rate inclusive of making necessary hole up to a depth of not less than 100mm in RCC element, charges for scaffolding, cleaning the hole etc., complete.

Supplying cutting bending and fabricating and placing in position as directed steel (SAIL, TISCO or RINL) reinforcement for RCC works in all floors, using MS or High Strength Deformed bars/RTS and MS binding wire 18 gauge etc complete at all levels. Fe 500D grade

Structural steel work in single section, fixed with or without connecting plate, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer all complete

Providing and fixing M.S. grills of required pattern in frames of windows, etc. with M.S. flats, square or round bars etc. all complete Fixed to openings / wooden frames for windows with rawl plugs, screws, etc. or welding to the existing grills. The rate inclusive of applying priming coat with red oxide zinc chromate primer.

Providing and fixing 25mm tk x 100-150mm height polyethylene sheet / pad (hydrocell of FOSROC) used for expansion joint / vibration isolation as per the direction of Engineer in charge.

Crack repair to parapet wall :-Cutting of crack mouth, as ‘V’ groove of 10 mm x 10 mm, & sealing with Non Shrink repair mortar (Sika crack sil or equivalent product of MASTER FLEX / FOSROC) as per the manufacturers' specification and methodology.

Providing gola / coving 75x75 mm in cement concrete 1:2:4 admixed with 4 Ltr of SBR latex for 50 kg of cement (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 stone aggregate 10 mm and down gauge), including finishing with cement mortar 1:3 admixed with 4 Ltr of SBR with 50 kg of cement (1 cement : 3 fine sand) as per standard design. The rate also inclusive of applying a layer of cementitious coating Cement : SBR 1:1 ratio over the wall floor junction before applying coving.

Half Brick masonry with fly ash concrete blocks of class designation M10 in foundation and plinth in : Cement mortar 1:4 (1 Cement : 4 Coarse sand / M sand) upto floor V level. Rate quoted shall include providing and placing in position 2 Nos 6mm dia. M.S. bars at every third course of half brick masonry

Providing and fixing of spout line 75mm dia of length 250mm including making neccessery hole with good finishing

Injecting PU grouting as per following specification TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION / WORK METHODOLOGY FOR PU INJECTION GROUTING 1. Holes of 10mm dia shall be drilled on the leakage/damp spot in the Ceiling of the R.C slab using a portable Electric drill and a non-return ball-valve packer shall be fixed in the holes. 2. Supplying and injecting PU based foam injection grout MEYCO MP355 1K – through the above fixed packers using a High-pressure one component Resin Injection pump until point of refusal. In case dripping of resin is observed through the packer hole, then the same shall be temporarily plugged with Masterseal 505 – Instant plugging compound. Note: Whilst we recommend the simultaneous injection of Acrylate Resin Masterflex 810 to stabilize the leak zone, this additional process would involve the fixing of an additional packer alongside the one fixed as in (1) above and the Acrylate resin Masterflex 810 shall be grouted with the same pump but after 24 hours of injecting Meyco MP355 1K.

Providing 15 mm cement plaster 1:4 (1 cement: 4 coarse sand) on the rough side of single or half brick wall upto floor V level

Brick work with Fly ash concrete blocks of class designation M10 in foundation and plinth in Cement mortar 1:4(1cement :4 coarse sand / M sand)

Injecting Cement based grouting as per following specification TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION / WORK METHODOLOGY FOR CEMENT BASED INJECTION GROUTING 1. Holes of 18mm dia shall be drilled on the leakage/damp spot in the Ceiling of the R.C slab using a portable Electric drill and a PVC nozzle of suitable size shall be fixed in it. 2. Injecting Cementitious Injection grout using Cement Slurry admixed with Flowcable 50 – Non-shrink grout additive @ 250gms per Cement bag, through the above fixed nozzle until point of refusal. The nozzle shall then be plugged with Masterseal 505 – Instant plugging compound. 3. The nozzles can be removed the next day and the hole shall be plugged with Masterseal 505 – Instant plugging compound.

Arresting seepage of water from wall surface, from the junction of chujjas, weather shade, cantilever ends, corbels and wall at sill level of windows, jambs of windows etc complete including necessary Grouting, grooving, applying sealant to the openings near Door/window frames plastering, painting etc complete including charges for necessary water proofing sealant 10mm to 20mm depth in concrete slab by power cutter and fixing the SBS membrane in the groove by using sona elastic sealant or thioflex 600 gun grade as per the direction of the Engineer in charge.

Removing the existing expansion joint treatment and treating the expansion joint with following specification and as per the enclosed drawing. The rate inclusive of all necessary scaffolding required for works, disposing of all dismantled material outside the campus etc.,complete. The works should be carried out as per the standard good construction practices and all safety measures should be followed at site.

Removing of existing pre cast slabs and stacking them neatly in a place as per direction with in 50 M lead bringing down debris to the ground floor level and stacking at place pointed out by Engineer incharge.

Dismantling of 230mm brick wall upto a height of 750 mm at terrace using electrically operated chisels (Without making sound pollution )and disposal of debris to the ground level up to a lead of 50 M as per direction of Engineer incharge.

Dismantling and Removing of existing Press tiles and Weathering course upto a main slab using electrically operated chisel for a width of 500mm from expansion joint on both sides bringing down the debris to ground level using necessary pully etc as per direction with in 50 M lead

Supplying and fixing of Hydrocell XL board of 20 mm thick of Fosroc make or equivalent for the expansion joint as per manufacturer specification. The cost includes all scaffolding at all levels The width of board is 100 mm. The old expansion board to be removed up to depth of 100 mm

Supplying and filling the expansion joints up to 40 mm width and depth of 2.5 mm with PU sealant master flex 472 f BASF or equivalent product of BASF/ Fosroc on top of back up material of Supreme with two coats of suitable primer. The cost to include scaffolding at all heights.

Applying bituminous primer over the joint Fixing masterprene 100 blue SBS modified membrane / Self adhesive membrane manufactured by Texas or (Sika® WP Shield-302 F (SA) or equivalent product of Fosroc / BASF for a width of 400 mm over the expansion joint

Providing and laying poly urethane sealant (moist curing- Sikaflex® PRO-3 WF or equivalent product of BASF/ Fosroc) to fix the membrane on either side of expansion joint by pouring sealant over a groove of size 10mm x 10mm , 2 Nos of grove in both sides of expansion joint.

Applying bonding coat of Nitobond -EP of Fosroc or equivalent product of BASF/ SIKA over the roof slab (where gutters to be constructed) for bonding new concrete to the existing concrete complete. Rate quoted for 1 Rm of expansion joint.

Construction of Gutter walls along the joint (Both side of joints) using Micro concrete ( Rendroc - RG of FOSROC or equivalent product of SIKA / BASF) with coarse aggregate in a ratio 1 :0. 3 (One 25 kg bag of micro concrete mixed with 8 kg baby metal 6mm down size )of up to height of 300mm cost including shuttering mixing placing curing etc complete.

Providing hoisting and fixing up to floor five level precast reinforced cement concrete slab of 50 mm thick of M25 or higher grade, anchor blocks including cost of required shuttering finishing smooth in Cm 1:3 (1 cement : 3 sand / M sand) on exposed surfaces but including cost of reinforcement.

Plastering the surface with polymer modified mortar of CM 1:4 (1 cement : 4 Sand / m sand) of 20mm thickness admixed with Nito bond SBR of FOSROC or Equivalent products of BASF/SIKA @ 2 lts per bag of cement over the gutter and wall neatly. The rate inclusive of curing, chamfering the wall and floor joint with polymer modified mortar etc., complete.

Supply and fixing of aluminium sheets approved make 1160 mm wide and 2mm thick to the wall with 6mm dia ss anchor fastener bolt nut system at specified spacing. Over lap between the sheets shall be 250 mm. Actual length shall be measured for payment

Supplying and filling the expansion joints up to 40 mm width and depth of 2.5 mm with moist curing- Sikaflex® PRO-3 WF or Masterflex 474 of BASF/ Fosroc with suitable primer. For aluminium sheet joint

Repairs to rain water mouth / Khura opening the existing damaged rain water mouth, dismantling the existing weathering course, removing the pipe and cleaning the surface etc. complete. the diameter of the opening should be more than 25cm around the rain water pipe to be fixed. The new rain water pipe to be fixed to the opening after installing swellable acrylic based PU water bar around the pipe, fixing the rain water pipe to the opening made and filling the gap between the rain water pipe and the opening with non shrink grout without any gap, applying a layer of cementitious water proof coating over the rainwater floor mouth (The rate is also inclusive of applying a layer of cementitious coating Cement : SBR 1:1 ratio over the wall floor junction before making khura) and finishing the surface neatly.

Killing plants / tree grown-up on building - rate inclusive of removing dry tree, patch plastering and making good to the existing wall. Step 1: preparation of Chemical solution a. Take 1ltr of clean water b. Add 15ml herbicide “Roundup “ (Glyphosate 41% S.L) c. Add 2 tea spoons of Ammonium sulphate to get good absorption d. Add 50ml of soap oil as a sticking agent e. Mix the above solution thoroughly in plastic container (not in iron/stainless steel, since the chemical may react with it) f. Fill the solution in a spray machine Step 2: Applying the chemical solution a. Spray the chemical solution over the leaves and stems of tree / plant b. After one week time, apply one more time if tree / plant is alive or remove the dead tree / plant.

Supplying and applying ( MIXGUARD HR-5 or equivalent product of SIKA/ FOSROC/ BASF) cold applied elastomeric water proof membrane over the prepared surface, prepare a base surface stabilizing primer (MIXPRIME AC100 @ 2 : 1 : 3 (MIXPRIME AC100 : WATER : OPCEMENT) and apply directly (@ 1KG/SQM) along with MIXMAT GFM-50 at an overlapping of 50mm minimum After a curing period of 3-4 hours prepare and apply MIXPRIME AC @ over at a consumption of 250ML/SQM. After curing of 3-4 hours apply a coat of MIXGUARD HR – intermediate elastomeric water proof coat at consumption of 0.5KG/SQM. After a curing time of 4-5 hours apply MIXGUARD HRXtra - Micro fibre reinforced high tensile top coat at consumption of 0.5KG/SQM. Leave 72 hours time for complete system curing. Total build up DFT of the system will be 1700 microns.

Laying pressed clay tile (Saint Antony tile of 18mm thick ) over the terrace as per approved pattern 18 mm nominal thickness of approved size . The tile shall be jointed with cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) mixed with 2% integral water proofing compound, laid over a bed of 20 mm thick cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) and finished neat complete.

Repair / replacements of tiles provided for dado / floor work using matching tiles of same quality, colour and shade with necessary removal of damaged tiles etc complete. The tile may be pasted using cerabond or as per the direction of the engineer in charge. Glazed tile - colour / white ceramic tiles - up to 1.5 sqm area.

Earthwork in Excavation in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5m in width or 10 sqm on plan) including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift up to 1.5m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil All kinds of soil

Providing and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand / M sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5mm), including making drainage opening wherever required complete etc. as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Supplying and Erection of Double Scaffolding (Area shall be calculated by multiplying length and height of scaffolding) for carrying out of miscellaneous works at all levels and etc., complete as per Indian Standard or relevant codes. Rate inclusive of providing necssary covering the area with suitbale safety net etc.,. complete for self compacting concrete works alone
