Excavation in hilly area in all heights and depths and in all kind of soil by mechanical means including saturated soil comprising of ordinary soil, soft rocks, hard rocks, chiseling/ wedging out of rock ( where blasting is prohibited) and their intermediate classification of soil setting out true to the required line, grades width cutting and trimming of side slopes and level as shown on the drawing and as directed by the Engineer-in- Charge at site according to the M.O.R.D 2014 technical specification clause 300, 1603.1,1603.07. Any loss to the public / private property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge including carriage of materials within all leads and lifts The rate includes octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, goods service tax, labour cess or other taxes imposed by the Government. A recovery of useful stone for 3163.80 cubic metre @ 300/- (Rupees three hundred) only per cubic metre shall be done on prorata basis for each running bill for this item.

Construction of embankment with approved materials deposited at site from roadway cutting and excvation of other road structures or other sources in layers of suitable thickness not exceeding 200mm ( two hundred millimetres) spreading to required slope and compacted with three wheel 80-100 KN static/ vibratory road roller to meet the requirements of table 300.1 and 300.2 of MORD specifications to lines, grades, level and cross sections as per drawings or directions of the Engineer-in-charge including preparation of foundation for embankment in all kinds and classification of soils including saturated soil and dewatering/ bailing out of water wherever required including hauling of materials for construction of embankment within all leads and lifts. The rate shall include carriage of machineries, equipment, tools and materials and safety measures, payment of all taxes and other incidentals necessary to complete the work in all respects. Providing and erecting a "W" metal beam crash barrier comprising of 3 mm (three millimetre) thick corrugated sheet metal beam rail, 70 cm (seventy centimetre) above road/ground level, fixed on ISMC series channel vertical post, 150 x 75 x 5 mm (one hundred fifty into seventy five into five millimetre) spaced 2 m (two metre) centre to centre, 1.8 m (one point eight metre) high, 1.1 m (one point one metre) below ground/road level, all steel parts and fitments to be galvanised by hot dip process, all fittings to conform to IS:1367 and IS:1364, metal beam rail to be fixed on the vertical post with a spacer of channel section 150 x 75 x 5 mm (one hundred fifty into seventy five into five millimetre), 330 mm (three hundred thirty millimetre) long complete as per drawing ends firmly secured into concrete block by providing inclined piece of metal beam and suitably merged with the adjoining structures as per MORD technical specifications clause 810 as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge , including carriage of materials within all leads and lifts and other incidentals. The rate includes octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, GST, labour cess or other taxes imposed by the Governement.

Routine Maintenance for 1st year (First year) after completion of construction work as per items and condition of bid document Clause-32 of contract data to general condition of contract and technical specifications of Ministry of Rural Development for rural roads January 2014 (First Revision) for rural roads including haulage/ carriage of all labour equipment and materials to various locations through all modes of transportations in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge.(Note: For routine maintenance per kilometre rate & amount is pre -specified in the SBD (section 7)& the same shall apply in the bid. .
