REPLACEMENT OF DRINKING WATER PIPE LINE INSIDE ALUMINA REFINERY PLANT, NALCO, DAMANJODI

Amount

1. Removing the excavated materials,debris of any description and any other waste materials,spoil including loading into trucks/tractors using baskets by head load or any other means and transporting by trucks/tractors and unloading at the earmarked places, spreading / levelling complete and disposal inside plant within 2 KM lead.

2. Removal of scrap/ discarded steel/discarded structural steel, including loading & unloading, transporting by trucks/tractors to scrap yard up to a distance of 2K.M., all complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

3. Earth work in all kinds of soil in foundation, trenches or drains not exceeding 1.5m in width or 10 sqm on plan including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms lift upto 1.5m including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus earth as directed within a lead of 50 M. Disposed soil to be levelled and neatly dressed. Lift upto 1.5 m in all type of soil.

5. Providing and laying plain cement concrete at all depths below and upto ground level in foundations, fillings,non-suspended floors including tamping, curing etc. including the cost of centering and shuttering etc. as specified or directed in any shape,position, thickness and finishing the top surface rough or smooth etc.all complete(CEMENT WILL BE ISSUED FREE OF COST AT NALCO'S STORE.) with P.C.C.1:2:4 (1cement: 2coarse sand: 4graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size)

6. Providing and laying reinforced cement concrete work in foundation, pedestals, roofs, slabs, lintels, beams, chajjas, columns,walls in vertical or horizontal fins, bressummers, shelves, suspended floors, landing, balconies, pillars, piers, abutments, posts and struts etc. in super structure up to floor five ( V ) level , including necessary curing, as directed by Engineer-in-Charge but excluding cost of reinforcement, centering and shuttering etc. complete (CEMENT WILL BE ISSUED FREE OF COST AT NALCO'S STORE). With RCC grade 1:1.5:3 (1 cement: 1.5 sand: 3 stone aggregate).

7. Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form work for foundations, raft of columns/walls,pedestals for pipe supports, plinth beams up to plinth level , as directed by Engineer-in Charge.Work in foundation and above ground level up to 1000 mm height in all shape and sizes.

8. Bending / Binding and placing in position high yield deformed bars reinforcement conforming to IS:1139 or cold twisted deformed bars reinforcement conforming IS:1786 for R.C.C.work at all height and depths,carting the same from store/issue points to site of work, straightening, cleaning, bending to required shape and lengths as per details including supplying and binding with contractor's own soft annealed binding wire and placing with proper cover blocks, supports, chairs, spacers and return of unused/ scrap/ unserviceable steel to owner's storage point etc all complete. (REINFORCEMENT STEEL/TOR STEEL SHALL BE ISSUED FREE OF COST AT NALCO's STORE)

DISMANTLING

9. Dismantling steel work in built up sections in angles, tees, flats and channels including all gusset plates, bolts, nuts, cutting rivets, welding etc. including dismembering and stacking within 50metres lead, including necessary scaffolding up to all height, all labour, tool,tackles & materials.

10. Dismantling of C.I. sluice valve ( except fire hyrdants ) including stacking of useful materials within a lead of 50 metres, including necessary scaffolding up to all level, all labour, tools and tackles etc. For 150mm and Up to 150 mm diameter.

11. Dismantling of C.I. sluice valve including stacking of useful materials within a lead of 50 metres ncluding necessary scaffolding up to all level, all labour, tools and tackles etc. For 200mm and Above 200 mm diameter .

12. Demolishing cement concrete manually/ by mechanical means including disposal of material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer - in - charge. Nominal concrete 1:4:8 or leaner mix (i/c equivalent design mix)

13. Demolishing R.C.C. work manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of steel bars and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer - in- charge.

ERECTION & LAYING

14. Fixing C.I. sluice valves (with cap) complete with bolts, nuts, rubber insertions etc. (the tail pieces if required will be paid separately), including all necessary scaffolding, labour, tools,tackles, at any position, at all level, commissing of the valve, all complete ( only Valve will issued free of cost at Nalco's store / Dismantled valve ) : up to 100 mm diameter ( except fire hydrants )

15. Fixing C.I. sluice valves (with cap) complete with bolts, nuts, rubber insertions etc. (the tail pieces if required will be paid separately), including all necessary scaffolding, labour, tools,tackles, at any position, at all level, commissing of the valve, all complete ( only Valve will be supplied by NALCO at free of cost at Nalco's store/ Dismantled valve) : 150 mm diameter

16. Fixing C.I. sluice valves (with cap) complete with bolts, nuts, rubber insertions etc. (the tail pieces if required will be paid separately), including all necessary scaffiolding, labour, tools,tackles, at any position, at all level, commissing of the valve, all complete ( only Valve will issued free of cost at Nalco's store / Dismantled valve ) : 200 mm diameter

17. Transporting from NALCO'store, and fixing C.I. sluice valves (with cap) complete with bolts, nuts, rubber insertions etc. (the tail pieces if required will be paid separately), including all necessary scaffiolding, labour, tools,tackles, at any position, at all level, commissing of the valve, all complete ( only Valve will issued free of cost at Nalco's store / Dismantled valve ) : 300 mm diameter

18. Transporting, fabricating, and fixing Steel work welded in built up sections/ framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer using structural steel etc. as required, in gratings, frames, guard bar, ladder, railings, brackets, gates, grills, doors, shutters , windows, ventilators , pipe supports, insert plates , flanges of all sizes and similar works, including necessary scaffolding up to all level for the work, including all materials and labours all complete as directed by Engineer in charge.( Required Structural steel will be issued free of cost at NALCO's store).

19. Supply and application of two or more coats to provide an uniformly even surface of synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and shade ( BLUE COLOUR ) on all kinds of structural works including necessary scaffolding up to all level for the work & cleaning of old surface etc all complete with all labour tools, tackles, consumables etc. all heights as per direction of Engineer-in-charge at all heights.

20. Supply and application of two or more coats to provide an uniformly even surface of synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and shade ( Blue COLOR ) on all kinds of pipe surfaces & pipe specials, letter writing as directed by Engineer-in-charge, including necessary scaffolding up to all level for the work & cleaning of old surface etc all complete with all labour tools, tackles, consumables etc. all heights as per direction of Engineer-in-charge at all heights.

21. Providing and fixing Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride (CPVC) pipes of approved brand & quality, having thermal stability for hot & cold water supply including all CPVC plain & brass threaded fittings ( sockets, bends, tees, reducers). This includes jointing of pipes & fittings with one step CPVC solvent cement ,trenching ,refilling & testing of joints complete as per direction of Engineer in Charge. with 50 mm nominal outer dia Pipes .

22. Providing and fixing approved quality gun metal gate valve with C.I. wheel of approved quality (screwed end) 50 mm nominal bore .

23. Dismantling of pipeline of following diameters at any location / elevation in Ash reclaim line / Water supply/Fire mains with all labours, tools, tackles, consumables including cutting by gas or any other means, lowering down the pipes from racks if required & supervision etc., including necessary scaffolding if required up to all level if required, stacking of pipes within a lead of 50m., all complete and as per instruction Engineer-In-Charge.(Necessaary earthwork , dismantling and fitting of specials will be paid in respective items)

24. Transportion,Fabrication, Erection of the MS / CS /ERW pipeline of following diameters at any / all location / elevation at piperack or pipe sleepers with all labours, tools, tackles, materials,red oxide primer, necessary scaffoldings for work up to all level, including pipe specials etc wherever required. cutting & welding of pipes consumables, painting the outer surtace of the pipe with red oxide uniformly, plant & equipments and supervisions etc. all complete as per the the instruction of Engineer-In-Charge.(Necessaary earthwork & dismantling will be paid in respective items, Specials will be paid seperately, ( ONLY REQURIED PIPES SHALL BE ISSUED FREE OF COST AT NALCO'S STORE )

25. Repairing , Servicing and fixing of valves of all types and of following diameters at any all location / elevations in various pipe lines in rack / pipe sleepers/on ground including all labours ,tools tackles, consumables , nuts and bolts, rust dis-integrator oil, greasing, supervisions etc. to make valve functioning properly all complete , including necessary scaffolding up to all level, as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge.(Necessaary earthwork & dismantling will be paid in respective items, Payment against this item will be made only when the valve is fully opened.

26. Fabrication and erection of mitre bends, tees, spool,reducers of all angles of following diameter as per specifications including apply of red oxide primer, supply of all consumables, labours, equipments, tools, tackles etc. all complete at all height with necessary scaffoldings as per instruction of Engineer-In-Charge. (REQUIRED PIPE SHALL BE ISSUED FREE OF COST FROM NALCO'S STORE)

DISMANTLING OF PIPING SPECIALS: LIKE (BENDS, TEES, REDUCERS, SPOOL PIECES) By cutting/ debolting inclusive of industrial gas, welding electrodes, manpower at all levels and locations etc. Contractor has to arrange scaffoldings/ jhula up to all level for the work, including all labours,tools, tackles and materials.Dismantalled materials are to be stored in a place as directed by Engineer-in-charge or to be returned to NALCO's store.

28.
