Comprehensive Maintenance of DG Sets with AMF Panel of Make: Greaves/TATA/Cummins/ Kirloskar (KOEL) including preventive maintenance checks of engine and alternator for trouble free function as per recommendation and one qualified DG mechanic for attending break down/ complaint as and when required basis to rectify breakdown immediately,monthly maintenance are regular basis complete with Preventive maintenance'B' check once a 6 months inclusive replacement of required necessary spares engine oil,coolent, Filters such as Fuel filter, by pass filter , lube oil filter and Air filter complete sets along with rectification of minor defects and cleaning of coolant tank with blower and filling/topping up and replacement of engine oil/coolant and tuning of engine for DG set as listed below all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

NOTE FOR ITEM NOs: 1.01 to 1.05:- (a) Cost of materials and labour as mentioned in Section-2 are not included with Comprehensive Maintanance, i.e. item No. 1.1 to 1.105 here-in-before. (b) Contractor has to carry out monthly maintenance with examination of suction and exhaust valves for smooth operation of DG Sets. (i) Examination of fuel injection, nozzles. (ii) Check clearnce of suction and exhaust valves and adjust if required, (iii) Checking of oil filters, fuel filters screen filters assy. (iv) Maintenance of coolant level all as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. (v) Change of Hydraulic governor oil (vi) Change of anerold oil

Notes Contd.../ (vii) Clean alternator winding in position by forced air and internal surfaces lubricate DE & NDE bearings (viii) Tightining of all nut bolts. (ix) Greasing of all parts. (x) Test IR value of alternator winding and recording the readings (xi) Checking of any leaking in fuel & oil lines and rectification of the same. (xii) Any other check as reqd for efficient running of equipment all as specified & directed by Engr-in-Charge. (xiii) The rates quoted against the above mentioned Items is deemed to be included for cost of labour, cost of T & P required for replacement of unserviceable parts and cost of handling / transportation of defective item to & from civil workshop for repair if required. (e) The contractor shall carry out routine checking of the complete DG Sets and rectify the minor/major defects noticed immediately. If complaints were not attended within 4 hrs the following penalties will be imposed and deducted from contractors.

Supply and fixing in repairs of Rubber hose set for DG set of capacity 30 to 125 KVA complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. Make: As Per OEM Recommendation

Dismantling/ taking out old unserviceable self starter assembly 24/12 volts from the DG set. Material and labour for rewinding with super enamelled copper wire of existing size & insulating the field coil assy, replacing bentec assy of the self starter assembly 24 Volts and refixing the same after repairs and testing complete all as specified & directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement of battery charger capacity 6 Amp, 12 Volts for DG set complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Description all as per ser item No 04 above, but capacity of 15 Amp, 24 Volts for DG set. complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement aganist repairs of stop solenoid/ shut off valve of capacity 30 to 125 KVA DG Sets of existing make along with screen Filter including wiring connecting to panel circuit, starting and testing on load complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & fixing in repairs of thermostat element alongwith complete assy for DG set connection and testing complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Repairs and calibration of PT fuel pump as per the calibration procedure and norms as per manufacture's guide lines for DG Set of capacity from 30 to 125 KVA including replacement of worn out and unserviceable"O'rings / shutt off valve/Plungers complete all as specified and directed

Supply and fixing in replacement of Control assembly for DG Set capacity 40 to 125 KVA with necessary modification to controll wiring, replacement of controll relays , programming with all the parameters for safety protection and running suitable for the existing DG sets.

Supply and fixing in replacement of PCB assembly for DG Set capacity 40 TO 125 KVA with necessary modification to controll wiring, replacement of controll relays , programming with all the parameters for safety protection and running suitable for the existing DG sets .

Cleaning of diesel tank of various capacity DG set inside/ out side of tank complete with drain out DHPP(N) and cleaning tank and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint (1st grade quality) on out side of tank and refilling the DHPP(N) & testing complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for Earthing complete with GI earth plate 60x60cmx6mm thick electrode and 32x6mm GI strip as earthing lead burried directly in ground (Earth pit not less then 2.25 metres deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less then 1.5 metre below normal ground level, conneceted to GI strip 32x6mm as earth lead by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel all as shown in electrical plate No.5 and incl earth work, PCC pit and RCC cover, watering pipe 20mm dia light grade, funnel, wire mesh, charcoal dust, 40mm dia light grade protection pipe and salt etc and connected to earthing test point complete all as specified and directed.

General Technical Requirements (GTR) / Commissioning :- a) Emission Control retrofit device shall be complete with safety precautions to ensure no damage should be done to the DG set operations under any circumstances. The Emission Control retrofit device should be closely coupled with the DG exhaust to ensure 100% of the exhaust passes through the Emission Control retrofit device. b) Anti-Vibration mountings shall be provided for complete Emission Control retrofit device in case of flexible coupling with the diesel generator exhaust. c )Emission Control retrofit device should have protection against under voltage, over voltage, under frequency, over frequency, low battery voltage, over current, earth-fault, short circuit, phase sequence change etc. d) The Emission Control retrofit device shall be with corrosion resistive and HR paint. e) The Contractor shall provide the trial run (Testing) of Emission Control retrofit device with the available electrical load at site. The trial run shall be for TWO hours. The electrical loading shall not be more than the rated capacity of the DG set. f) Exhaust piping, extra civil work, distribution board shall be provided by the Contractor. (g) No bypass system should be available in RECD as per CPCB system & process.

Scope of Installation :- (a) Installation of Retro-fit-emission control equipment when offered by the contractor is inclusive in the scope of supply and shall be done by the Contractor. The installation work of Retro-fit-Emission control equipment and its constituent parts shall be generally conforming to the extent possible , CPWD General Specification for Electrical Works, Part-VII-latest . Foundation for installation of Retro-fit-Emission control equipment if needed, shall be constructed by the Contractor. (b) Supply, laying and termination of interconnecting power and control cable between Retro-fit-Emission control equipment and the DG Set control panel shall be done by the contractor. The cable supplied shall be ISI marked PVC insulated, armoued cable (FR Grade) with copper conductor having insulation of PVC compound , suitable of rated voltage upto and including 1100 volts. Total length of the cabling shall be within 30 meters . Contractor shall provide complete contact details of service engineer to be contacted for free service during the warranty.(c)The Retro-fit-Emission control equipment tobe closely coupled with the engine exhaust passes through it (d) Anti –Vibration mountings is provided for complete Retro-fit- Emission control equipment in case of flexible coupling with the diesel generator exhaust (e) Retro-fit- Emission control equipment works whenever the DG-Set/Engine is running to reduce/ control particulate matter (PM 2.5) emission. (f) Storage Tank shall be complete with piping (between storage tank and the Retro-fit- Emission control equipment), valves, level indication and all standard accessories. If applicable (g) Installation and commissioning and the trial run (Testing) Retro-fit- Emission control equipment is carried out by the contractor. (h) Installation of Emission Control Retrofit Device when offered by the vendor is inclusive in the scope of supply and shall be done by the contractor. The installation work of Emission Control Retrofit Device. (j) Construction of suitable earthing station (if applicable) and necessary connections shall be done by the seller.Warranty/Service ;- 12 months. (k) Traning & service, maintenance of RECD to staff

M&L for dismantling oil fired Air/hot water generator of 1 to 2 Lakh K.Cal/hour capacity any model by unscrewing and removal of boiler side/end plates, CHS control panel, cleaning drum and hot water coil with scalent de-carbonizing, scraping out carbon ,dirt acculated in drum and across coil, overhauling, servicing incl re- assembling all the dismantled component to its original position with testing and commissioning, Complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for dismantling Standalone air heater for space heating of capacity 35000 Kcal/hr by unscrewing and removal of heater side/end 3plates, with scalent de-carbonizing, scraping out carbon ,dirt acculated in heater, overhauling, servicing incl re- assembling all the dismantled component to its original position with testing and commissioning, Complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for dismantling of the blower motor of Stand alone air heater for space heating of capacity 35000 K/Cal Hr incl rewinding of blower motor with suitable size/gauge of copper wire including replacement of suitable blower fan sweep and blower fan guard and refixing of the same after varnishing, Complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for dismantling carefully CHS pump and motor assembly 2 to 5 HP for repair and remove the broken impeller and worn out nuts/bolts washer's complete incl rewinding removal of burnt winding for field and stator, rewinding the same with super enamel copper conductor of existing gauge varnishing, heating, baking complete with re-assembling all the dismantled component to its original position with testing, Complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for disconnecting and removal of burner assembly, cleaning of Ecoflame burner for de-carbonized/deposited on combustion tank/blast tube with cleaning acid and fixing of burner nozzle for smooth functioning and re-assembling burner and fixed to its original position with testing , Complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for taking down carefully by disconnecting and removing Fan coil units of different sizes from hot water circulation line for cleaning with scalent and acid to remove the scale and dirt accumulated in copper tube and fins and welding /brazing where ever necessary and arrest the leakage of the body incl re-wiring /assembling and connect the same to its original position with testing complete for smooth flow of water, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for taking down carefully by disconnecting and removing heat radiator from hot water circulation line for cleaning with scalent and acid to remove the scale and dirt accumulated in copper tube and fins and welding /brazing where ever necessary incl re-assembling and connect the same to its original position with testing complete for smooth flow of water, Complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S & F in replacement of burner nozzle and calibration at require temperature and pressure for proper fuel automisation incl setting for correct mixing ratio of fuel and air for proper combustion of fuel with base mounting unit, Complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for disconnecting hot water inlet & outlet of glycol base storage tank of capacity 1000 Ltrs draining out complete old water cleaning, removal of sludge acculated by scraping out, washing with scalent/acid for properly cleaning and welding wherever necessary to arrest leakages with re-assembling the disconnected pipes to original position and filling water including refilling/ charging of glycol (monoethylene glycol) MEG concentrate along with necessary additives and inhibitor in cognition and mixed in ratio 40% (glycol concentrate) 60 % of water and the freezing temperature of mixture shall be -40 degree centigrade, Complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (Note : Monoethylene glycol will be measeured and paid seperately)

Dismantling old unserviceable fan coil unit and Supply and fixing new fan coil unit of capacity 4500 Kcal/Hr or One/Two Ton capacity High Wall mounted motorised valve alongwith Inlet outlet valves and remote control.

S & F in replacement of unserviceable magnetic lead (Electrode) as per sample with testing complete and suitable for control the temperature and fuel firing in combustion chamber, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply & fixing in replacement time relay suitable for CHS burner assembly, Complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fix ball brass valve with adapter screwed both ends of 15 MM bore suitable for heat radiator hot water inlet/outlet, Complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing bearing No 2052 incl oiling and lubrication , Complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F in replacement of U/S chimney exhaust extension pipe of size 200 mm dia 3 length 6 mm thick, Complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L Calibration of humidity control system to maintain required humidity for smooth functioning & maintaining the humidifier to required humidity, Complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F in replacement of U/S phase sequence meter 230 volt 50 Hz AC as per sample for each phase , Complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing Ignition transformer suitable for burner (ECOFLAME), Complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for dismantling of the hot water circulating pump motor of 2 to 5 HP incl rewinding with suitable size/gauge of copper wire including replacement of suitable bearing warn out nuts/bolt washer and refixing of same after varnishing, Complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F copper tubing of size 15 mm with copper union and adopter including all fitting for inlet and outlet complete.

Notes :- Amount of Credit Schedule for Schedule 'A' Part-ll shall be deducted from total quoted amount of BOQ to arrive at the contract sum
