MECHANISED APPLICATION OF FINISHES INCLUDING PLASTERING AND PERIODICAL SERVICES FOR OTM ACCN OF FATEHGARH CANTT

M&L for complete removal of existing treatment from internal and external wall surfaces, roof projections, ceilings, including fascias, cornices, chajjas, ducts, etc., by scraping the internal surfaces using a mechanical sander having a mechanical vacuum mechanism fitted with sanding pads of appropriate grit to obtain a clean surface free from dust, loose paint and other foreign matter, and by cleaning the external surfaces using a high-pressure jet washer, carried out by skilled labour at any height not exceeding 12.00 metres, including providing necessary staging and scaffolding, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for providing and applying 1 to 2 mm thick cement-based all-weather waterproof putty over prepared wall surfaces and rubbing the same with a mechanical sander having a mechanical vacuum mechanism to achieve an even and smooth surface suitable for further application of finishes, at any height not exceeding 12.00 metres, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for applying two or more coats of 100% premium acrylic exterior emulsion paint having VOC content less than 50 g/litre, UV resistance conforming to IS 15489:2004, alkali resistance, fungal resistance and dirt resistance, of approved shade (company depot tinted) with silicone additives, @ 1.43 litres per 10 square metres, over and including one coat of exterior primer @ 0.90 litre per 10 square metres on prepared wall surfaces, at any height not exceeding 12.00 metres, complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) Application of exterior primer and acrylic emulsion paint shall be carried out through an airless spray machine (mechanical means of paint application) having a minimum flow rate of 1 litre per minute and operating pressure of 3300 PSI. A drying interval of 6 to 8 hours shall be allowed between successive coats, complete all as specified and directed. (ii) The work pertaining to periodical services and waterproofing shall be executed through an authorized applicator approved by the manufacturer whose materials, such as paint, distemper, putty, etc., are proposed to be used by the contractor and approved by the AGE(I).

M&L for complete removal of existing treatment from wall surfaces by brooming down, steel wire brushing, scraping down smoke, soot, moulds, moss, efflorescent salts, tar, oil and greasy spots, and other foreign matter, and preparing the surfaces thoroughly clean, and applying two coats of anti-fungal weather coat exterior emulsion paint (Apex or equivalent approved make), over and including a coat of approved primer and 1 mm thick weatherproof wall care putty, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparing old plastered or unplastered wall surfaces and concrete surfaces by washing, rubbing down and stopping of existing painted surfaces, and applying one coat of anti-fungal weather coat exterior emulsion paint (Apex or equivalent approved make) on prepared surfaces, at any height not exceeding 12.00 metres, including necessary staging/scaffolding, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparing old plastered or unplastered wall surfaces and concrete surfaces not exceeding 45 cm in width by washing, rubbing down and stopping of existing painted surfaces, and applying two coats of acrylic weatherproof exterior paint (Apex or equivalent approved make) on prepared surfaces, at any height not exceeding 12.00 metres, including necessary staging/scaffolding, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for clearing shrubs growth and removing trees of girth not exceeding 50 cm from building walls, chajjas and other projections, and making good the damaged portions in cement mortar 1:3 in patches not exceeding 2.00 square metres in area, including finishing the repaired surfaces to match the existing adjoining surfaces, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 15 mm thick rendering in cement mortar 1:6 on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces, finished even and smooth without using extra cement and applying two coats of oil bound distemper of approved shade over a coat of primer over & including 1mm thick wall care putty, including taking down cement or cement lime plaster on brick or stone walls or concrete surfaces etc (any thickness) including racking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc, including removal of rubbish off the premises complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 15 mm thick rendering in cement mortar 1:4 on fair faces of brickwork or concrete surfaces, finished even and smooth without using extra cement and applying two coats of cement based paint over a coat of alkali resistant primer, including taking down cement or cement lime plaster on brick or stone walls or concrete surfaces etc (any thickness) including racking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc, including removal of rubbish off the premises complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 5 mm thick rendering in cement mortar 1:3 on concrete ceiling surfaces, finished even and smooth without using extra cement, including preparation of surfaces and applying three coats of white wash, including taking down cement or cement lime plaster on brick or stone walls or concrete surfaces etc (any thickness) including racking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc, including removal of rubbish off the premises complete all as specified and directed. complete all as specified and directed
