Fencing work around all the civil works such as intake structure , Pump Houses, Inspection Hut etc. one metre high fencing over brick masonery 1.30 mtr high ISA 50x50x5 mm post @ 1.50 mtr centre to centre including with nine horizontal lines and two diagonal of Galvanised mild steel barbed wire confirming to IS:278-1962-type-1, weighting 9.38 Kg/100mtr minimum strained and fixed to post with proper fastening arrangement. The ISA post shall be embeded 450 mm deep in C:C 1:2:4 with proper fastening arrangement protected with using suitable primer and anti corrosive paint level difference at different points shall be suitabily taken care so as to look asthetically good including cost of excavation foundation concrete , brick masonery , plastering and providing and fixing M.S. Cutting in earth work in all kind of soil for site development of civil structures and disposal of excavated earth up to all leads and lifts as per direction to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge.
Excavation in foundation and trenches in all kinds of soils such as pick work, jumper work, blasting in soft/hard rock, chiselling/wedging out of rock/where blasting prohibited) saturated soil stacking the excavated soil as directed by the Engineer-in-charge and then returning the stacked soil in 15cm layers when required into plinth sides of foundation etc. consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surplus excavated earth as directed by the Engineer –in-charge in all leads and lifts.
Providing form work with steel plates 3.15mm thick welded with angle iron in frame 30 x 30 x 5 mm, so as to give a fair finish including centring, shuttering , strutting and propping etc. with wooden battens and ballies height of propping and centering below supporting floor to ceiling not exceeding 4meters and removal of the same for insitu reinforced concrete and plain concrete. Steel Crossing:- Survey , designing , Providing and Construction of steel crossings for crossing of various dia of pipe full of water including launching , live load should be considered as 0.75 KN / sqm. The design and drawing shall be preparared by the contractor and be got approved from the competent authority befor execution of work. The item includes cost of all materials /accessories as required for C/O crossing including abutments, piers,Railing, bearing etc.with in all leads & lifts including cost of excavation and cost of all other Civil works. Main Balancing Reservior and Sector Reserviors:- Survey , Designing, Constructing, Testing & Commissioning (to be approved by the competent authority) RCC Circular under ground/partial under ground storage reservoirs as per capacity given below at various stages/sites including excavation in foundation in all kinds of soil. including PCC (1:3:6) in foundation and M:30 design mix in bottom slab/raft ,walls and beams. and RCC (1:2:4) in roof slab/dome with provision of inspection path around the dome with all alied Civil Works such as c/o chamber for valves, refilling and disposing of surplus excavated earth with in all leads and lifts. The job also includes providing lowering, laying, erecting, hoisting and jointing of pipe assembly for inlet, outlet, overflow and scour pipe with bye pass arrangement consisting of GI / MS pipes special and valves of required classes and dia and all other accessories required such as MS ladders inside and outside, CI cowl type ventilator, SFRC manhole covers with frames of heavy duty with proper locking arrangement, water level indicator. The tanks shall be hydraulically tested for water tightness, All works shall be conforming to relevant IS code. Water Treatment Plant:-The scope of work under present tender includes the Survey , designing ,construction of 7.50 MLD water capacity water treatment plant capable to treat the raw water 7.50 MLD for Kasauli constituency clear water capacity water treatment plant capable to treat the raw water 7.50 MLD for Kasauli area of the quality specified in the basic design data to produce clear water as per the requirements of latest CPHEEO manual on water supply and treatment (chapter 7) and as specified in basic design data. The CPHEEO water manual on water supply include the construction of Collection tank or Raw water tank (but considered a part of schedule-AI, item No. 4a, cost of collection tank shall be included in the cost of WTP), Cascade aerators, Raw water channel, Parshall Flume, alum solution mixing tank and dozing arrangement, flash mixer, mechanical clariflocculator tanks, rapid sand filter complete including filter media with back wash including disposal arrangements, complete prechlorination arrangement with Gaseous Chlorine etc including all works pertaining to it. Rate of filteration should be kept in between 4.8 to 5 m/hr. But with the inlet and outlet control arrangements designed to permit 100% overload for emergent occassions. also plant building for housing chemical store, water testing laboratory, plant office, toilet, pumps, pump house, water testing piping, valves, mechanical/electrical equipment, electric wiring and panel boards drainage sanitation, interconnecting paths, site development up to a minimum of 3 mtr from edge of each unit and fencing as per design parameters and specification.
The components/units mentioned/proposed above are tentative and the WTP shall comprise of but not limited to above arrangements/methodology The final decision regarding the components shall be made at the time of finalisation of the design drawings. A well-equipped laboratory of appropriate size for water testing at Maryog shall be provided as per clause 15.6 of CPHEEO of water Supply & treatment. WTP shall be designed as per the specifications mentioned in Vol-2, Part-3 and CPHEEO Manual, if anything found contrary, then CPHEEO Manual shall be followed the same shall be to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge. The firm shall submit the detailed hydraulic and structural design and drawings (5 copies or as decided by Engineer-in-charge) for each component of treatment plant, which shall be approved by the department before the work is started. The designs & drawings of the mechanical electrical equipment and wiring etc. along with manufactures specifications/design also be submitted for approval to the department.
On the completion of all civil, mechanical and electrical works, the contractor shall test run the plant for 3 months & thereafter carry O&M of the plant for 05 years at the cost of the contractor including the cost of all materials like lubricants, chemicals and labour (skilled and unskilled). However, electrical charges shall be borne by the department. During this period, the contractor shall run the plant at full rated capacity and produce the results specified in the NIT and as per the latest CPHEEO standards in the presence of Engineer-in-Charge or his representative. During this period the daily testing of raw water and treated water samples shall be done as per the requirements of Appendix 15.9 category II of latest CPHEEO manual on water supply and treatment and sound engineering practice. Complete record of the test results and the flow measurements shall be kept during this period. If the performance of various units of the treatment plant is as specified in NIT/CPHEEO manual, the plant shall be formally taken over by the department, otherwise, the contractor shall make necessary changes/repairs to improve the efficiency of the units/plants. Multifunction Water Quality in line Meter to record pH, TDS, DO, Turbidity, temperature of the treated water at the inlet and outlet points of WTP, meeting the control criteria enclosed in technical specification sheet complete including cost of all equipment and accessories as directed by engineer in charge as per relevent data sheet and scope of work .The contractor shall provide 5 sets of approved drawing with design to the department i/c lab equipments & lab infrastructure , glass ware as per vol-III (Refer Vol-II-Technical specifications & , Data Sheet No, 3)

Approach Road :- Construction of Approach road to pump houses & Inspection Hut i/c cutting in earth work in all kind of soils, subgrading to required camber and super elevation,soling,bearing coat, metalling, tarring and c/o cross drainage works and side drains, c/o retaing walls and breast walls complete in all respects to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge. Schedule A2-Pumping Machinery and Electrical works
Supply Installation Testing & Commissioning with automation (to be paid separetely) of suitable Raw water submersible pumpset of KSB/Kirloskar make or of approved make by JSV (list attached) capable of handling 1500 PPM turbidity conforming to latest BIS code. The pump shall be fitted with single vane impeller of suitable alloy for handling raw water as per IS 5669-1970 having oil/grease packed bearings and stainless steel shaft, wound stator on motor side with shaft protection sleeves on pump side ensuring better life for shaft . The impeller of pump shall be directly mounted on extended submersible motor confirming to BIS 9238-1979 with up to date amendments,totally dust and weather proof with detach able pump casing for easy inspection with double mechanical seal, grease/ oil lubricated bearings and provided with stainless steel thrust bearing plate to withstand vertical loads with minimum wear and tear,It should be fitted with device to take up expanion of water on heating of motor & suitable for operation on 415(+/-15 ) volts, 50 cycles / second, 3 phase AC electric supply. The power of electric motor/motors should be at +10% in excess of the maximum power required by the pump/pumps in the operation range of (+) 10% and (-)15% of the duty poiint head. The motor/motors as per ISI:325:1978 with upto date ammendments read with IS 900:1972. It should include cost of bearing nuts , bolts and painting etc. and should meet the following requirements: including Pump sets (working + standby), necessary piping, Control panel with starter and protections; control valves alongwith electrical cable etc Complete job as per IPH specifications including all taxes, transportation, freight charges, inspection charges, loading, unloading, conveyance to Departmental stores/ site, stacking, etc. including specials and wastage etc.; complete as per Tender Specifications, technical data Sheets No.5 and instruction of Engineer in charge. (Refer Vol-II-Technical specification & Data sheet No. 10).

PUMPING MACHINERY CENTRIFUGAL:- Supply ,Installation ,Testing & Commissioning of star rated enrgy efficient horizontal spindle, horizontal/ radial split casing/end suctions (back pull out arrangement)single/double/multistage centrifugal pump suitable for operation, in parallel of recommended make such as Mather and platt/KSB/Kirloskar/Jyoti /Beaconweir BS&BE, ABB/CGL confirming to BIS-1520-1980 with upto date ammendments, read with IS:9137-1978 or latest edition suitable for lifting clear water for under mentioned characteristics with bronze/Bronze with 2.5% Nickel impellers, dia of 405mm priming funnels, casing ring and shaft sleeves of bronze/ steel, shaft of SS:410/AIS 1431 Chrom in plated with cast iron casing coupled directly through a flexible coupling on a Common MS base plate to squirrel cage screen protected drip proof induction motor, totally enclosed fan cooled motors/CACA motors of standard make such asKirloskar/BHEL/ Crompton/NGEF/GEC/Siemens/ Area Brown Boven and suitable for operation on 11 KV HT, 50 cycles/second 3 phase AC electric supply. Schedule A3 - Rising Main
Excavation in foundation, trenches (for pipes & pits) upto all depths in all classification of earth work such as pick work, jumper work, saturated soil including bailing and pumping out water, blasting soft/ hard rock or chieselling soft/hard rock where blasting is prohibited in all lifts including trimming and dressing of sides, leveling of beds to correct grade i/c shoring /strutting , planking, timbering & dewatering wherever required, stacking the useable & unuseable material /soil separately & after laying jointing & testing of pipes, returning the useable soil in trenches in 15 cm layers including consolidating of such deposoited layer by ramming & watering & then disposing of all surplus excavated soil /unusable material as directed with in all leads & lifts including restoration unmetalled surfaces to its original condition & including cost of diversion for traffic, night signals, fixing caution boards, crossing over trenches for access to houses, fencing etc. complete in all respects with in all leads & lifts as per directions of Engineer-in-charge.
Providing, laying, jointing and testing in trenches of Galvanized MSERW / GMS flanged/butt welded pipes including cost of flanged bends of all degrees conforming to IS/ISO:3183-2007 with steel grade ,L-360 X-52 , L-290 X-42,/ IS: 1239-1990 (Part-II) having wall thickness as specified below with plain end and capable of withstanding required test pressure in random length of 4 to 7 meters, including specials, short pieces, bends, reducers, tees etc. made from parent tube.The M.S. flanges are to be provided 5% of total joints and remaining 95% joints with butt welded joints as detailed below. The MS flanges shall confirm to BIS 6392-1971 (with latest up to date amendments) duly welded in four layers (two inner and two outer) with pipes at both ends as per relevant BIS standards along with nuts and bolts of required sizes confirming to BIS 1364 (with upto date ammendments). 3mm thick compressed asbestos fiber/synthetic rubber gaskets confirming to relevant BIS standards. The laying of pipe shall include all operation such as cutting, welding, jointing, providing & fixing of MS flanges, fabrication of bends, tees,valves etc. including lowering and laying in excavated trenches to ensure required level including flushing, cleaning and hydraulic testing complete in all respects to the satisfaction of the Engineer in charge. The fabricated bends shall have three or four cuts having its radius not less than five times the dia of pipe. The pipes shall be factory galvanized (zinc coating both inside and outside) as per IS:4736 -1986 (with upto date ammendments) with mass of zink coating not less than 360 gm/m2. The welding electrodes shall be as per IS 814:2004 of Advani Oerlikon/ L&T or ISI marked make. Negative tolerance in thickness and mass/weight will not be accepted.Welding and fixing of M.S. flanges @ 5% of joints, conforming to following tables as per IS 6392-1971 (Latest with up to date amendments) . The welding of flanges should conform to IS 816-1969 with electrodes as per IS: 814-1991 and required number of nuts and bolts conforming to IS 1364, the thicthness of gasket not less than 3.00 mm conforming to IS 2712-1998. The work shall be done as per entire satisfactio of Engineer- in- charge with in all leads and lifts. The rates also includes entire carriage of material, flushing, cleaning & hydraulic testing complete to the best satisfaction & direction of Engineer in charge with in all leads and lifts. (Earth work in trenches, flanged joints . The diameter and class / material of pipe are indicative. Since the re-survey and re-design of proposal / scheme is to be carried out by the lowest bidder, the design/drawings are to be approved by the competent authority of the department. If there is any variation in size, material, class & wall thickness of pipe and jointing,valves,specials etc,the rates shall be worked out on prorata basis and will be paid accordingly (Refer Vol-II-Technical specification & Data sheet No. 7 and 8).

Providing welding and fixing of M.S. flanges @ 5% of joints, conforming to following tables as per IS 6392-1971 (Latest with up to date amendments) and welding of MS flanges with GMS/GGMSERW pipes in four layers i.e two layer on outer faces and two layer on inner faces to make the joint leak proof (The cost of proving and laying of GMSERW pipes and butt welded joints to be measured and paid for separtely). The welding of flanges shoild conform to IS 816-1969 with electrodes as per IS: 814-1991 and required number of nuts and bolts conforming to IS 1364, the thicthness of gasket not less than 3.00 mm conforming to IS 2712-1998. The work shall be done as per entire satisfactio of engineer in charge with in all leads and lifts. (Refer Vol-II-Technical specification & Data sheet No. 7 and 8).

Schedule A4- Gravity Mains & Distribution System
GRAVITY MAIN:- Excavation in foundations and trenches (for pipes and pits) upto all depths etc. in all kinds of soil such as pick work, jumper work and saturated soil including bailing or pumping out of water, blasting in soft/hard rock or chiseling or wedging out of same where blasting is prohibited in all leads and lifts including trimming and dressing of sides, leveling of beds to correct grade including shoring strutting, planking timbering and dewatering wherever required, stacking usable and unusable material/soil separately and after laying jointing and testing of pipes, returning he usable soil in 15 cm layer by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surplus excavated soil/unusable material as directed within all leads and lifts including restoration of unmetaled/ mattelled surfaces to its original condition and including cost of diversion of traffic, night signal boards, fixing caution boards, crossing over trenches for access to houses, fencing etc. complete in all respects within all leads and lifts as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing, laying, jointing, testing and commissioning in trenches galvanised mild tube of following dia (Light/Medium grade) P/E ,B/E, including providing and fixing tube fitting such as reducer increases, socket, union, tees, bends etc. where ever required (earth work in treanches to be measured and paid saparately) and as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge including entire carriage of material upto loads and lifts .The laying of pipe shall include all operation such as cutting, welding, jointing, providing & fixing of MS flanges, fabrication of bends, tees,valves etc. including lowering and laying in excavated trenches to ensure required level including flushing, cleaning and hydraulic testing complete in all respects to the satisfaction of the Engineer in charge. The diameter and class / material of pipe are indicative. Since the re-survey and re-design of proposal / scheme is to be carried out by the lowest bidder, the design/drawings are to be approved by the competent authority of the department. If there is any variation in size, material, class & wall thickness of pipe and jointing,valves,specials etc,the rates shall be worked out on prorata basis and will be paid accordingly. AUTOMATION OF ENTIRE SYSTEM : The tenderer/firm shall automate the scheme a/w Pumping machinery & other units Installation of hardware along with commissioning/ programming as per user requirement shall be done. The detailed automation proposal shall be got approved by the firm from the Competent authority. Firm has to incorporate all the inputs and outputs suggested by the department in the SCADA. in all leads and lifts and to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.All ancilliary works and accessories required to make the system fully functional shall be included in the cost of work . Nothing extra shall be paid on this account. (as per Technical Specifications given in Vol- II &III & data sheet No.15)
Schedule A6 -Disinfection System
Supply, installation, Commissioning and testing of vaccum operated, pressure feed gaseous Chlorinator of Toshcon ,Capital ,PENWALT(USA) / ECOCHLOR (USA) / ENCHLOR (USA)/Jasco (USA) make for chlorination of water by direct feeding to conveyance main from MBR-1, MBR-2 and water chlorination directly in MBR-3 consisting of the following components in all leads and lifts as specified below. Providing installation & commissioning of gaseouos type fully vaccum chlorination system having 0-1.0 kg per hour chlorine gas feeding capacity of Toshcon ,Capital , PENWALT(USA) / ECOCHLOR (USA) / ENCHLOR (USA)/Jasco (USA) make. The system shall have vacuum regulator with inbuilt Filter and Pressure Gauge, in-built Measuring Glass with dose rate adjuster, Vacuum ejector, ejector Non Return Valve, 4.0 m long PE tubing (As Vacuum and Vent tubing), 32 mm Spanner, Ammonia Solution etc. in all leads and lifts and to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge ( Refer to Vol-III & data sheet no.16)
Chlorine Gas Injector
Providing installation & commissioning single phase monoblock pump 1.5 to 3.0 HP of required discharge capacity with Motor of Kirloskar/Crompton Greaves make with common steel fabricated base frame duly grouted at site including starter and cabling including all leads and lifts and as per entire satisfaction of Engineer - in - charge ( Refer to Vol-III & data sheet no.16)

Providing fitting and accessories e.g. Tee, union, Nipple, elbow, wheel valve 1/4'' frerrul, bib, cock etc. required for house hold connection . The 15mm dia wheel valve shall confirm to BIS 778:1980 CL-I-all other G.I. fitting shall confirm to BIS sepecification.
Schedule B1- Operation and Maintenance
Operation and maintenance of scheme from source to tail end of scheme and to keep all structure/ machinery/ facility in proper working. O&M includes the regular i.e, daily supplying of designed/ required quantity of potable water having water quality as per of water supply to the beneficiaries of the scheme up to main storage/ delivery tank from above mentioned source to percolation well/ treatment plant , main sector storage tank at different locations as per plan and repair and maintenance of main lines, gravity lines and entire distribution system alonwith maintenance of automized system of scheme. Regular maintenance of all the facilities including cleaning, washing, oil and greasing repair, replacement of worn out/ damaged parts of pumping machinary, pipe line, valves and electrical, mechanical, requirements, regular cleaning of all structure like storage tanks, sump wells, intakes, channel;s, collection/distribution channels/ pump house etc. and disposal of same as per the direction of engineer-in-charge, fixing/repairing/leakage in structure channels, pipe line pumping machinary etc. proper distribution of treated water and regular testing of water samples at required stages of treatment and lift. Maintaining log book of running of pumping mechniery register for samples reports and consumption of chemicals.
Keeping regular and proper record of water quantity and quality, repair & maintenance work chemical dosing and time and hours of run of pumping machinary, removed of all kind of slips, slush, up-rooting of unwanted grass, shrubs, weeds etc. growing near the structure and keeping the area neat and clean to the entire satisfaction of engineer-in-chrage, planting, and maintenance plant of the flowers/ trees around the pump house treatment unit storage tanks/ sump well etc. as per the entire satisfaction of the engineer-in-charge including the cost of procurement of adequate and proper tools and plants, skilled and un-skilled manpower, spare parts, oil/grease/lubricants, chemical and all kinds of regents required for water sample testing re-filling of gaseous cyclinders i/c mechanical & head load carriage etc and making stand by arrangement all times, instruments, equipments, stationery and any other material etc. required for O&M excluding the cost og energy charges. All the operation shall be carried out as per the CPHEEO manual of the water supply and treatment (latest addition) HP PWD/ IPH specification, HP & IPH department norms direction issued by the Engineer-incharge from time to time and sound engineering practice. (Refer Vol-II-Technical specifications & Data Sheet No, 14)
The O&M part will commence from date of completion of trial & test run, defect and liability period of three months after physical completion of all components. 1st year.
