HIGH SIDE EQUIPMENTS FOR CHILLER SYSTEM - CHILLER, CPM, EXPANSION TANK, AIR SEPARATOR, COOLING TOWER.
A. HVAC Works
VFD DRIVEN WATER COOLED CHILLERS (SUITABLE AND COMPATIBLE FOR PRIMARY VARIABLE SYSTEM)
VFD DRIVEN WATER COOLED CENTRIFUGAL CHILLER (SUITABLE AND COMPATIBLE FOR PRIMARY VARIABLE SYSTEM)
It should also be stable at constant condenser water temp. condition at CEFT of (design + 4ºF) without any noise increment.The chiller should be provided with environment friendly refrigerant with CFC free and shall not be phased out till next 25-30 years from the date of delivery at site. (Note: if the refrigerant phased out as per norms due to any reason or statutory norms etc., then OEM need to give undertaking of replacing it free of charge with new recommended and suitable refrigerant and make entire chiller system ready to operate as per all expected parameters without any commercial implication to the client) . Inclusive of Witness testing by client of Chilling machine equipment shall be tested in factory at design conditions stipulated in tender for points 25%, 50%, 75% and 100% with test report at constant condenser inlet temperature and Flow at design conditions with factory fittedunit mounted VFD. Sound pressure levels for the complete unit shall not exceed 85 dBA at 1.0 m distance. All shall be as mentioned in technical specifications.Customs clearance, Loading / Unloading,factory testing, transportation & insurance to site shall be inclusive in the cost. Note : 1) Condenser shells shall be designed for minimum 150 psig working pressure and hydraulically tested at 225 psig 2) Water flow switches for evaporator & condenser water line shall be supplied by chiller vendor. 3) Chiller shall be suitable for variable primary flow.
The variable frequency drive shall be PWM type (Pulse width modulation) microprocessor based .The drive shall have a keypad control, a LCD display module, and manual ON/OFF switch. The VFDs shall have integrated, factory built metallic enclosures of IP 42 rating, without any de-rating. VFDs shall conform to the recognized international standards like IEC and manufactured according to ISO 9001. The VFDs shall have internal harmonic filters on both limbs of the DC bus to reduce current harmonics and protection for Electronic motor overload, Protection to motor and VFD against input transients, phase loss, short circuit, under voltage, over voltage, phase imbalance, motor over temp., phase to phase short circuit or earth fault at motor terminals.All should be as Specified ed in tender specifications.THD level for VFD should be less than 5%.The chiller and its VFD should be integrated at the chiller OEMs factory, and the VFD coupled chillers performance demonstrated at 4 points (100%, 75%, 50% & 25% of load) prior to dispatch of the chillers and shall be verified during inspection at the factory end.

Supply ,Transportation, Loading and unloading of Chillers with starter panel including necessery VFD at site with installation, testing and commissioning of Water cooled Flooded Evaporator Screw Chiller of assembled screw compressor water cooled chilling units of capacity as mentioned below complete with single /multiple compressor, semi - hermetic compressors with stepless capacity control, energy efficient motor incoming power supply suitable for 415 +/- 10 % volt , 50 ±5% cycle , combined power supply variation of ±10%, 3 Phase AC supply,ASME stamped flooded Evaporator & Condenser as per applicable codes, Shell & tube insulated Chiller,with Weather Protection / Corrosion Protection Coating on refrigerant piping, drive sets, interlocking of safety switches (e.g. thermostat, HP/LP, Oil safety switch, water flow switches) with control wiring with flexible conduit from unit to switches, forced feed lubrication system etc.The compressor shall have mechanism for stable operation at part loads, anti-vibration cushy foot mounts as per point loads of chiller foot print ,with unit mounted factory fitted VFD with power isolator, with ammeter with CTs, overload protection ,under voltage protection, protection against phase reversal & independent single phase preventers etc. complete as required, adapter box with glands and power cabling, mounting frame, factory fitted control & power panel with automatic controls, inter connecting refrigerant piping with fully charged refrigerant etc.as per specifications and drawings. Advanced Microprocessor based control panel with automatic controls, coloured & graphical display, Compatible for integration with Chiller Plant Manager / Optimizer as well as with BMS system with BMS card etc. for central control and monitoring. Victaulic/flange coupling at the inlet and outlet piping connections of evaporator of chiller complete with accessories,Initial/first charge of refrigerant gas and compressor oil as per specifications.The chiller should be with environmental friendly refrigerant. Inclusive of Witness testing by client of Chilling machine equipment shall be tested in factory at design conditions stipulated in tender for points 25%, 50%, 75% and 100% with test report. Pipe sizes shall be worked out by Chiller vendor. Piping will be done under supervision of chiller vendor to ensure overall system performance. 4) Chiller shall be suitable for Primary Variable Flow System.

CHILLER PLANT MANAGER ( CPM) AS DESCRIBED BELOW:
Design, Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of BTL-listed CHILLER PLANT MANAGER (CPM) of Chiller OEM make in 16G powder coated, lockable sheet steel enclosure. It must combine Bacnet listed 32 bit IP based Supervisory controllers, IO CARDS (with accessories like Transformer, MCB, internal wiring and Relays with bases), Bacnet listed 32 bit IP based DDC/IOM controllers for equipment control along with Chiller plant Manager software and logic. It should be capable to monitor, operate and generate reports. It should possess 2 tier architecture combination of hardware and Software and also must include advance graphics for easy storage (min. 12 months) and report generation. The chiller Plant Manager shall have lifetime/wholetime license with updation facility by the chiller OEM to the Owner. (A) Multi user with simultaneous minimum Two user login facility, (B) Shall be browsed by Microsoft Internet Explorer / Netscape Navigator, (D) BTL certified, UL listed (E) Web engine should be 32bit configuration, (F) Should have inbuilt display and capacitive touch screen to operate. (G) Functionally able to act as a DDC controller also apart from Supervisory controller function, (H) Web engine should support ASHRAE standard BACnet IP protocol, Proprietary Protocol shall not be accepted. Interface for software integration on Chiller on BACnet MS/TP protocol. (I) Web engine should support integration of third party protocol (eg MODbus-RTU) seamlessly without adding additional hardware, (J) Web engine should support DHCP function for IP addressing
Chiller plant manager shall essentially be able to perform the following functions :
Chillers start and stop operation.
Chillers auto sequencing & Cascading etc.
Auto start and stop of condenser water pumps.
Auto start and stop of cooling towers.
Auto start and stop of primary chilled water pumps.
On and off operation of motorized butterfly valves at chiller outlet, at condenser outlet and at cooling tower inlet,& Stand by chiller header tapping
Having capability for Software integration with primary variable chilled water pumps panel.
Having capability to interface with 3rd party BMS system over Bacnet / IP
Having capability to monitor, operate and generate reports.
Chiller Plant Manager as described above and suitable for 10% additional points over the required IO summary

Work station/ Central computer: Central computer (core i7, latest generation industrial model) with 40" LED monitor, latest windows licensed software, min. 16 GB RAM, 1TB hard disk, etc. Computer shall have all the required software for CPM functioning and shall complete with monitoring and control functions,.
Note : Total 05 no’s of chillers, 4 nos of cooling towers each with 6 no fans, 9 nos of condenser pumps & 9 nos. of variable primary chilled water pumps through AFD controllers will be connected to the CPM
Note : ALL necessary required field devices as required to function to CPM shall be in the scope of Chiller vendor, however Temperature Sensors: for No. of chillers and common header evaporator, condenser supply and return side, Ambient T+Rh sensor # 1 no. qty shall be inclusive of CPM cost.Chiller vendor to prepare IO summary for CPM based upon all configurations as specfified and submit to Engineer In Charge for prior approval
Automatic condenser Tube Cleaning system
Automatic condenser Tube Cleaning system of suitable size including Touch Screen Graphical / Alpha-Numeric PLC, one injection/collection pump if required, actuator based valves and complete with all accessories and Low side activities of piping connections from Ball traps to Ball collectors and Chillers. The actuator based valves shall give signals to PLC of their functioning and all process of injection and collection should be shown on the PLC while in operation. This system must be common for all chiller.

HOT WATER VARIBALE PRIMARY FLOW PUMPING CONTROL SYSTEM
Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Variable Speed Primary flow Pumping System consisting of adjustable frequency drive (AFD) for No OF pump, one dedicated microprocessor based pump controller housed within the enclosure of one of the AFD with parallel pumping software duly down loaded and single / multiple differential pressure sensor / transmitters with control and signal wiring from DP switches to pump controllers as per the requirement. The entire system shall be sourced from single manufacturer. The panel shall be provided with AHF to control the THD less than 5%.The controller should be able to :- a) VFD to be locked to minimum flow. b) The control system should include the Pump logic controller,Variable frequency drive(s) and Differential pressure transmitters and associated switchgears, Flow transmitters, Temperature transmitters and related equipment shall be installed by the mechanical contractor as shown in the design c) Input power wiring to the pump logic control panel and the output wiring to the motors shall be the scope of electrical contractor and to be done as indicated in the electrical drawings submitted. All supporting ,MS angles, channels nut , bolts, washers etc. necessary for unit installation.

HVAC ELECTRICAL PANEL
Supply, installation, testing commissioning, Design, fabrication, assembling and wiring of panels fabricated out of 16 gauge CRCA sheet steel sections after carrying out 9 tank cleaning process & duly powder coated using Siemens Grey shade no. RAL- 7032 or as per approved shade in cubicle compartmentised,free standing, floor mounted, dust and vermin proof with reinforcement of suitable size, angle iron, channel, ‘T’ sections and / or flats wherever necessary. Cable gland plates shall be provided on top as well as at the bottom of the panels. Panels shall be treated with all anticorrosive process before powder coating as per specifications and final approved shade. 2 Nos. earthing terminals shall be provided for all distrtibution panels. Panels shall be suitable for 415V, 3 phase, 4 wire, 50 HZ supply system. Lifting hooks shall also be provided in case of large panels. Approval shall be taken for each panel in the form of shop drawings before fabrication. Galvanised hardwares with zinc passivation shall be used in fabrication of panels.The system shall be provided with Automatic & Manual mode similar :- Please refer Single Line Diagram for the detail specifications and Comply to IS 8623, IS 13947, IS 11353, IS 2705, IS 1248, IS 722, IS 13703.All the feeders shall have single phase protection relay. i) Main busbars with bar type feeder connections & all internal wiring and connections. ii) All accessories & supporting structure. iii) All ammeters with C.T's and voltmeter and energy meters with necessary MCB. (All meters shall be digital). iv) Panel components as specified. v) MS base frame. vi) All switch gear to have short circuit levels as specified. vii) All MFM's to have parameters like KW, KVA, A, V, PF, KVAR, Active & Reactive ( Appx 15-16 parameter ) component of power, as required & desired to complete the system. All metering shall be of Digital Type & with the necessary BMS compatibility. All the incomers MFM shall also display THDi & THDv parameters. viii) All MCCBs upto 250A Shall be of Thermal Magnetic type & Above 250A shall be Microprocessor Based. ix) All panels shall provide separate BMS compartment and inter panel wiring from switchgear to BMS compartment shall be in panel builders scope of work. x) Space heaters with thermostat shall be consider if required. xi) Bus bars shall be designed for easy extension in future on either side. xii) MECH. MAIN LT PANEL - 1 ,2 & 3 to be type tested assemblies conforming to type tested Assembly (TTA) Panel as per IEC 61439-1&2 and internal arc tested as per IEC 61641, 0.5 sec. All other Panels shall comply to CPRI guidelines . Type tested panels construction should be of FORM 4B IP2X (TOUCH PROOF) protection even after opening the feeder compartment door.The compartmentailization to be achieved by using metal separater only.Use of PVC sheets /HYLEM sheets are not allowed. Certifed as per Seismic Zone-4 IEC 60068-3-3/IS 1893/ICC ES AC-156 requires compliiance against acceleration. xiii) HVAC MAIN LT PANEL - 1 ,2 , 3,4,5 & 6 shall have fire suppression system. xiv) All panels shall have isolation transformer (1:1) of single phase 230 Volt, 50Hz for control supply.

The variable frequency drive shall be PWM type (Pulse width modulation) microprocessor based .The drive shall have a keypad control, a LCD display module, and manual ON/OFF switch. The VFDs shall have integrated, factory built metallic enclosures of IP 42 rating, without any de-rating. VFDs shall conform to the recognized international standards like IEC and manufactured according to ISO 9001, BS 5750 part 1 & 2 and shall be UL listed. Note:- The Pipes of sizes 150mm & below shall be M.S. 'C' class as per IS : 1239 and pipes size above 150mm shall be welded black steel pipe heavy class as per IS: 3589, from minimum 6.35mm thick M.S. Supply, providing and fixing / wrapping of glass cloth on Chilled water Insulation with suitable solvent based adhesive for sealing the insulation shall be low VOC less than 250Gm/Ltr over nitrile rubber thermal insulation covered with two coats of UL Listed lag coating (Low VOC) Anti-fungal, Anti-microbial & vapor barrier for line item sealed with acrylic based food grade sealant.
Note : Chilled Water pipe shall be coated with two coats of zinc chromate paint (Low VOC) for its anti-rust properties.

All such cables shall be provided with temporary labeling at every 20 mtrs and then finally with metal identification tags showing the size and the location from/to the specific Panel/DB at both ends.

Chapter-5 MV SWITCHGEAR & POWER PANELS (REFER DETAILED SPECIFICATION SHEET ALSO)
Supply, installation, testing commissioning, Design, fabrication, assembling and wiring of panels fabricated with CRCA sheet steel of thickness not less than 2.0 mm ,The doors and covers shall be fabricated from CRCA sheet steel of thickness not less than 1.6mm sections after carrying out 9 tank cleaning process & duly powder coated using Siemens Grey shade no. RAL- 7032 Double metallic door with minimum IP: 42 protection or as per approved shade in cubicle compartmentised,free standing, floor mounted, dust and vermin proof with reinforcement of suitable size, angle iron, channel, ‘T’ sections and / or flats wherever necessary. Cable gland plates shall be provided on top as well as at the bottom of the panels. Panels shall be treated with all anticorrosive process before powder coating as per specifications and final approved shade. 2 Nos. earthing terminals shall be provided for all distrtibution panels. Panels shall be suitable for 415V, 3 phase, 4 wire, 50 HZ supply system. Lifting hooks shall also be provided in case of large panels. Approval shall be taken for each panel in the form of shop drawings before fabrication. Galvanised hardwares with zinc passivation shall be used in fabrication of panels.The system shall be provided with Automatic & Manual mode similar :- Please Refer Single Line Diagram for the detail specifications and Comply to IEC 61439-1/2 ,IS 8623 Low voltage switchgear & control gear IEC 60947,IS 13947-1993 ,Control circuit devices and switching elements Degree of Protection of Enclosure for low voltage switchgear.IEC 60529/IS 2147:1962 ,Internal arc-IEC 61641. i) Main busbars with bar type feeder connections & all internal wiring and connections. ii) All accessories & supporting structure. iii) All ammeters with C.T's and voltmeter and energy meters with necessary MCB. All metering shall be of Digital Type & with the necessary BMS compatibility. x) All MCCBs upto 250A Shall be of Thermal Magnetic type & Above 250A shall be Microprocessor Based. xi) Space heaters with thermostat shall be consider if required. xii) Bus bars shall be designed for easy extension in future on either side. xiii) Transformer Output Panel, Main L.T Panel-1 & 2 to be type tested assemblies conforming to type tested Assembly (TTA) Panel as per IEC 61439-1&2. All other Panels shall comply to CPRI guidelines & construction should be FORM 3B. Type tested panels construction should be of FORM 4B IP2X (TOUCH PROOF) protection even after opening the feeder compartment door.The compartmentailization to be achieved by using metal separater only.Use of PVC sheets /HYLEM sheets are not allowed. PLUMBING WATER PUMPS
Suppying, installing, testing and commissioing of Hydropneumatic vertical inline mutilstage centrifugal skid mounted variable pumping System with integrated VFD for transfering Treated Water from treated water UG tank located at ground floor ( Engineering block) to Hospital building floor water supply .The pumps shall be of the vertical multi-stage centrifugal inline. Motor stool, and pump shaft coupling shall be constructed of cast iron.The impellers, pump shaft, diffuser chambers, outer discharge sleeve, impeller seal rings, and seal ring retainers shall be constructed of stainless steel. All pumps shall be equipped with a high temperature cartridge mechanical seal assembly The motors shall be TEFC type, Class F , insulation, efficiency class IE-5, Suitable for power supply on 415volts +_10% 3 Phase 50hz.
The variable frequency drive enclosure shall include dry-contact fault-output relay contacts along with analog and digital inputs. The motor shall detect/protect itself against under voltage, over voltage, excessive temperature, and set-point signal fault.Variable Frequency Drives should be communicated to Building Management System via Modbus communication.An electronic dedicated pump logic controller shall be MPC (Multi Pump Controller).The controller shall have a keypad and a graphical user interface display shall operate the pumps to maintain the required system pressure while using minimum energy and alternating between pumps to maintain relatively equal pump operating hours.The controller shall be mounted in a control cabinet with an IP 55 enclosure of suitable rating (or specified optional cabinet) with the keypad and display screen mounted through the outer door. In addition to the electronic pump controller, the control cabinet shall include circuit breakers for each pump and the control circuit and control relays for alarm functions .
Pump assembly should be equipped with suitbaly sized vertical pre-charged diaphgram Pressure tank for optimizing by reducing the number of starts/stops,to extend the life of the pump by acting as a buffer between pump and outlet in the system. Pressure tank capacity: Minimum 100 ltr. or as per manufacturer recommendation, which ever is highe. Note: Back up calculation need to be provided for the same. A pre-charged Carbon Steel body diaphragm tank shall be fitted to the discharge pipe with a compatible Butyl-rubber diaphragm. It shall supply water a very low flows to minimize frequent pump start and stop and water hammering. There shall be complete separation between water and air and there should be no contact between water and tank compounds to avoid corrosion. Bladders shall be suitable for sufficient elasticity to permit full expansion inside the tank to ensure better performance and longer working life.
The entire packaged pumping system shall be mounted on a Hot Dipped Galvanized MS fabricated skid along with all necessary electrical power ,earthing & control cabling , all necessary valve station assembly duly completed ,necessary pressure switches/pressure transmitters , water level switches for high & low water level for pump on /off operations & common suction and common delivery of SS304 class pipe headers with flanges Inter connecting pipe with all required control valve , Non return , Pressure gauge with isolation cock etc comlete required

Semi-hermetic scroll compressors complete with step less capacity control, safety switches, forced feed lubrication system etc. as per specifications. heat pump shall be capable for running at low load condition till 25%. Suitable Nos & suitable capacity induction motor suitable for operation on 415 volts ±10%, 50 Hz, A.C. supply. Compressor motor complete with ammeter with CT's, over load protection, under voltage protection, protection against phase reversal & independent single phase preventer etc. complete as required. Heat pump shall be done proper acoustics and shall not exceed the sound pressure of 80 dbA at full load at 1M. Supplier should not exceed the sound level on part load conditions as given in technical specifications.
