Repair/servicing of radiator assembly of 100/125/160 KVA DG Set (Greaves/Kirloskar/Cummins) after dismanteling and removing cooling fans, guard plates and lowering the same from engine after draining out water from radiator and scrapping / removing sludge / scale inside tank with acid including replacement MS tank (botom portion) at rusted portion by cutting/ welding / brazing with 2mm thick copper plate including painting. Remounting the same at its original position and repalcement of pre mixed coolent as per the ratio fixed by manufacturer and testing complete all as speicified and directed. Notes:- Pre mixed coolent shall be measured and paid for separately under relevant item of BoQ

All as per Srl item No. 27 but for 18.5 to 82.5 KVA DG Set of Greaves /Cummins / Kirloskar.

Supply and fixing in replacement of new Self starter, auto lock, 12/24V of existing make, on the 100/125/160 KVA DG Set and taking out unserviciable self starter from DG set.

All as per Srl item No. 29 but for 18.75 to 82.5 KVA DG Set.

Taking down unserviceable Self starter from the DG Set 18.75 to 160 KVA including dismantling the Self starter and taking out burnt winding armature & field coil and cleaning the slot including re winding of armature, field coil with enameled copper conductor of existing gauge including insulating material and heat varnish. Replacing worn out armature auto lock-01PC,Carbon brushes set, Pinion set, copper bush Set, Guard piece rubber, carbon rocker, Solinoid coil and reassembling the Self starter and mounting on its original position by replacing worn out nut bolts washers including painting of self starter complete all as speicified and directed

Dismantling and opening of turbo charger assembly of 63 to 160 KVA DG Set and Supply and fixing of turbo charger kit including refixing, testing complete all as speicified and directed.

All as per Srl item No. 32 here-in-before but of capacity 18.75to 30 KVA DG Set.

Repair/Servicing of water pump and replacement of water kit and water seal of 18.75 to 160 KVA DG Set complete all as speicified and directed.

Dismantling and taking down alternator assembly from existing engine and transporting to workshop and carry out servicing / maintenance of alternator unit of capacity 100/125/160 KVA DG set complete all as speicified and directed and as per the following phases work :- (a) Opening of Alternator and cleaning / remvoing dust from armature and field coil. (b) Cleaning of used / old lubricated substances drive/non drive end bearings. (c) Cleaning end cheeking of AVR unit. (d) Cheking and tighting of coupling bolts and replacement of rubber inserts. (e) M&L for carrying out heat varnishing for field and armature coil and kept in heating chamber for 48 hours for drying properly. (f) Replacement of Bearings as per existing size. (g) Reassembling complete unit and carrying out testing at workshop and transportation to installation and coupling with DG Set including necessary alignment, cable connections complete all as speicified and directed.

All as per Srl item No. 35 here-in-before but of cpacity 30 to 63 KVA DG Set complete all as speicified and directed.

Rewinding of armature with super enamelled copper of required size wire including varnishing, sleeves, cotton tape and heating etc. for DG Set of capacity 62.5 KVA to 100 KVA complete all as speicified and directed. Note : The cost of winding wire shall deemed included in quoted rate.

All as per Srl item No 37 here-in-before but for 18.5 KVA to 50 KVA DG set complete all as speicified and directed.

Dismantling, rewinding of field coils of alternator with super enamelled wire including varnishing and heating including reassembling and testing for capacity of DG Set 100 KVA to 200 KVA, complete all as speicified and directed. Note : The cost winding wire shall deemed included in quoted rates.

Taking out unserviceable diesel tank 100 to 300 Litres for 63.5 to 160 KVA DG set and S&F new fabricated diesel tank less than suitable Capacity 14 Gauge CRCA sheet duly painted with fuel indicatior which is to be fitted in existing canopy without making any damage to canopy,including replacement of glass wool insulation 80 mm thick density 30 Kg per Cum, which is covered with NET GP Sheet stainless steel with the help of rivets for all over canopy of DG set ,reparing of unserviciable top cover of DG set duly painted and replacement of rubber beading of existing shape and size all along the periphery of the doors complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L dismantling, opening of diesel engine cylinder head, removal of unservieable worn out spare parts, cleaning of all components, reboring of cylinder on lathe machine, after reboring honning process will be carrred out,replacement of all spare parts and gaskets as per manufacturer spare part kit, re-assembling of complete engine setting, timing setting for the capacity of 63.5 to 100 KVA DG set complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Spare parts shalll be measured and paid for seperately under respective item of BOQ.

Repair/Attending break down of Electric AMF panel to make completely functional in all respect complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Spare parts required for AMF panel shall be measured and paid for seperately under relevant item of BOQ.

Disconnecting & taking out of existing AMF panel of any description and in any position, of 125 KVA capacity DG set & opening of AMF Panel, checking AC/DC circuits and replacement control wiring with 1.5 Sqmm, single core, copper conductor, flexible, PVC insulated, unsheathed cable suitable upto 1100 volts confirming to IS-694, taking out, removing and replacement of unserviceable parts / spares / items, reassembling the panel & fixing the same in position and testing the AMF panel on full load after completion of repairs complete all as speicified and directed. Note : The quoted rates shall deem to be included for fixing the serviceable parts in position. The new parts shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Sch `A’ as `supply only. Replacement of small/minor parts such as nuts, bolts, washers/lugs/gaskets etc shall also deem to be included in the rates quoted against the item.

M&L shifting of DG Set upto 125 KVA any by carefully disconnecting from position lifting the DG Set from the existing sub station/plinth and shifting to new location not exceeding 750 metre and refixing at new location and making all the LT side connections and testing complete all as speicified and directed. Notes :- (i) Installation of DG Set, testing and connecting the LT cables, commissioning on load after checking voltage and out put all as specified and directed shall be deemed to be included in quoted rates. (ii)The work under subject BOQ (item No 1 to 97) is meant for maint and smooth functioning of DG sets in Serozepur Cantt.The work shall be executed on ground on required basis.The contractor shall deploy sufficient resources to keep all the DG set functional. Any breakdown shall be communicated to contractor or his representative by concered Engineer-in-charge/JE E/M through phone call text message or in writing through site order book or through other means. Non complying of attending break down within 24 hours after notify the complaint , recovery @ Rs 1500/- per day and maximum Rs 10,000/- shall be recovered from contractor's payment each complaint so notified.

M&L Earthing complete, all as shown on electrical plate No 3 of MES schedule part-I , as specified including the following :-(i) Galvanised steel earth plate of size 60cmx60cm & 6mm thick burried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 metre below ground level with top edge of earth plate at a depth not less than 1.50 metre below normal ground level.(ii) Earth plate surrounded by and packed with char-coal and common salt in alternative layers (n.exc 15cms each layer).(iii) 4 mm dia (8 SWG) G.I earth wire from earth plate to main switch board including necessary GI bolts, nuts check nuts, washers, thimbles etc.(iv) 15 mm bore light grade, GI pipe for protection to earth-wire.(v) 20mm bore, medium grade, GI pipe for watering including GI funnel and wire mesh. Supply Installation testing and commissioning Of retrofit emission control device for 82.5 KVA desiel generator of any make/vintage. Category Application :- Reduce particulate matter (PM 2.5), Carbon Monoxide and Hydrocarbons emitted from Diesel Engine Technology/Type :- ESP (Electrostatic Precipitator), Wet Scrubbing, Diesel Oxides Catalyst Guaranteed specified Particulate matter (PM 2.5) Carbon Monoxide, Hydrocarbon reduction efficiency (Min) Guaranteed specified Particulate matter (PM 2.5) Carbon Monoxide, Hydrocarbon reduction efficiency. Retrofit device is to be installed in place of existing silencer. No soot is to be collected in the retrofit device. The device including enclosure should include an Oxidation chamber and Passive Regeneration Trap. Min Particular Matter Reduction 85% Min Carbon Monoxide and NOX Reduction 90% Min Hydrocarbon Reduction 90% NOTE: It is mandatory to produce the Type approval certificate for asked KVA RATINGS ( ENGINE FAMILY) with registration number & date (from one of the CPCB recognized approved lab in Cover – 1 bid with application of tender documents . If contractor failed to upload the same in Cover-1, bid will be rejcted in Cover-1 and financial bid not be opened.”

TEST REPORTS Certification :- Device should be ‘Type Approved’ as per the System and Procedure of Central Pollution Control Board for Emission Compliance Testing of Retro-fit Emission Control Devices (RECD) For Diesel Power Generating Set Engines, Dated 01/02/2022, wide Pollution Control Series PCLS/12/2021-22 Adhering to this, RECD to be ‘Type Tested’ for an equivalent kVA family as per the System and Procedure from any one of the four Central Pollution Control Board, Govt, of India, recognized/approved test agencies/laboratories as given below: (a) Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI, Pune) (b) International Centre for Automotive Testing (ICAT, Manesar) (c) Indian Institute of Petroleum (IIP, Dehradun) (d) Vehicle Research Development Establishment (VRDE, Ahmednagar): Back Pressure due to the Emission Control retrofit device :- Maximum back pressure exerted by the Emission Control retrofit device at max prescribed load by DG OEM (as per the capacity of the DG set) should be under limit and display panel to be provided for Back pressure and exhaust temperature limit.

General Technical Requirements (GTR) / Commissioning :- a) Emission Control retrofit device shall be complete with safety precautions to ensure no damage should be done to the DG set operations under any circumstances. The Emission Control retrofit device should be closely coupled with the DG exhaust to ensure 100% of the exhaust passes through the Emission Control retrofit device. b) Anti-Vibration mountings shall be provided for complete Emission Control retrofit device in case of flexible coupling with the diesel generator exhaust. c) Emission Control retrofit device should have protection against under voltage, over voltage, under frequency, over frequency, low battery voltage, over current, earth-fault, short circuit, phase sequence change etc. d) The Emission Control retrofit device shall be with corrosion resistive and HR paint. e) Unloading and placement of the Emission Control retrofit device at the time of delivery is in the scope of the contractor. The consignee shall ensure that the site is located along a motorable way. f) The seller shall provide the trial run (Testing) of Emission Control retrofit device. The seller shall conduct trial run of the Emission Control retrofit device with the available electrical load at site. The trial run shall be for TWO hours. The electrical loading shall not be more than the rated capacity of the DG set. g) Exhaust piping, extra civil work, distribution board shall be provided by the seller

S&F as in repair stainless steel locking arrangement for DG set canopy gates rating from 45 KVA to 125 KVA complete all as specified and directed.
