M&L for testing of existing earthing in tech area as well as in domestic area using four point method (wenner method) or three terminal methods (fall of potential method) with appropriate earth resitance tester, spike and wire, recording of earth test results in register as per format given by Engineer-in-Charge and submitting the same to Engineer-in-Charge after test complete all as directed at site.

M&L for reviving of old unserviceable earthing by excavating the existing earthing, checking the condition of earth electrode of any type, Water pipe, earthing strip of any type, providing of charcoal, salt in alternate layer all arround the earth electrode after cleaning it throughly if found serviceable, re- fixing of existing protection pipe, earthing strip, watering pipe, funnel etc and returning, filling in excavated soil, making of earth pit chamber PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 and earth pit chamber cover reinforced with hard drawn steel wire fabric weighing not less than 4 Kg/sqm in liew of CI cover as per earth plate No 5 of SSR complete all as specifed and directed at site. Note :- 1. After excavation of existing earth, if the condition of earth electrode, GI protection pipe, watering pipe, funnel, earth strip is not satisfactory, the same shall be provided under relevent item as supply and fixing 2. If the condition of earth electrode, GI protection pipe, earth strip, funnel, GI watering pipe is serviceable, then earth shall be revived using necessary quantity of charcoal and salt, cost of the same shall be deemed to be included in unit quoted rates. 3. Cost of excavation, R&F, removal, making of new earth pit chamber of PCC, PCC chamber cover, charcoal and salt, nuts, bolts, washers shall be deemed to be included in unit quoted rates.

Supply and fixing in repair of copper earth electrode plate of size 600x600x3mm complete all as specified and directed at site.

Supply and fixing in repair of watering funnel as per existing for earthing complete all as specified at site.

Supply and fixing in repair GI Pipe light grade, 20mm dia , galvanized, with all fittings complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in repair GI Pipe light grade, 40mm dia , galvanized, with all fittings complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for taking down of copper earth strip of any size and kept aside for schedule of credit or refixing at site.

M&L for refixing of serviceable copper earth strip of any size retrived from site on wall/ roof/ through pipe/ on insulator complete all as specified and directed

M&L for taking down of aluminium earth strip of any size and kept aside for schedule of credit or refixing at site.

M&L for taking down of GI earth strip of any size and kept aside for schedule of credit or refixing at site.

M&L in repair galvaniased iron (GI) strip 32mm x 6 mm buried in ground/ fixed on wall/ Passed through pipe/wall incuding connected by means of exothermic brazing, nuts and bolts where required complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for refixing of serviceable GI earth strip of any size retrived from site.

M&L for supply and fixing in repair air termination, single pointed aluminium rod 12 mm dia and 300 mm long all as specified and as directed .

M&L for supply and fixing in repair air termination, single pointed copper rod 12 mm dia and 300 mm long all as specified and as directed.

M&L in repair for test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze size 75x75x25 mm, drilled and screwed including 3 Nos 8 mm dia 25 mm long hex head screw all as specified and directed.

M&L for porceiline insulator suitable for fixing earthing strip to the wall / floor etc complete with necessary nuts, bolts and fixing material complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement of earth resistance marking plate fabricated from MS plate not less than 3mm thick, in square shape of size 200x200mm, fixed to equal angle of size 20x20x3mm of length 0.75 mtr, 0.30 mtr shall be embedded in PCC of 1:2:4, type B-1, using 15mm stone aggregate of size 200x200x300mm below ground level in and including necessary earth work duly writing of earthing No and details of earth, painted with applicable colour code for conventional/ chemical earthing complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60 cm x60 cm x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground ,(Earth pit not less than 2.25 meter deep below ground level) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 meter below normal ground level ,connected to and including galvanised iron strip 32 X 6 mm by means of nut, bolts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel and provision of charcoal dust and common salt packed all around the earth plate including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil and testing complete all as specified and directed and shown in electrical plate number 5 of MES SSR part-I(1991) in and including dismantling of old earthing. Note:- (a) Excavation and earth work for drilling hole for electrode in any type of Soil. (b) PCC pit in cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1, Pre cast RCC cover with suitable handle 40 mm thick in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1, reinforced with welded steel wire fabric weighing not less than1.87 Kg/ Sq meter. (c) Funnel with watering pipe of GI 20 mm nominal bore light grade and lugs etc complete all as specified and directed (d) 40 mm nominal bore medium grade GI protection pipe 5 meter long for protection of earthing lead complete all as specified and directed. (e) Requisite quantity of common salt and charcoal. (f) Testing of earthing.

M&L for earthing complete with CPRI tested 50mm dia, pure copper earth electrode pipe of length 3000mm, pipe in copper strip Technology with NABL tested, RoHS compliant earth enhancement compound 50 Kg in each bore hole in tripod configuration (three numbers of 50mm dia pure copper electrode pipe) interconnected with copper strip of size 20x3.15 mm and connected by means of exothermic brazing & porected by GI pipe light grade 32mm bore and PCC (1:3:6) type C1 earth chamber & cast iron earth pit cover 300x300x3mm connecting to test point & testing on ground complete including excavation, earth work, boring in any type of soil strata & cleaning of site complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) Cost of copper strip 20x3.15 mm and 32mm dia GI pipe light grade required for interconnection of three numbers of pure copper 50mm dia earth electrode is deemed to be included in unit quoted rates. Copper strip of suitable size from earth pit to test point/equipment shall be measured and paid seperately.(ii) Cost of earth work, boring, PCC earth pit, CI cover, testing of earth after completion, connecting and commissioning is deemed to be included in unit quoted rates.(iii) Marking & painting of earth pit with iron plate of suitable size is deemed to be included in unit quoted rates.(iv) The boring will take place for 3 meter depth & 350mm dia for three numbers of pure copper earth electrode pipe to form tripod configuration. Earth enhance compound to be filled around the earth electrode in 100mm dia in 3 layers of 1 mtr each by means of PVC pipe of 100mm dia as casing/formwork. The remaining volume of bore shall be filled with clay soil (available from vicinity) in 3 layers of 1 mtr each. The PVC pipe to be removed sinultaneously. The cost of all this is deemed to be included in the quoted rate.(v) Minimum distance between each earthing is not less than 3 running meter.(vi) Testing of earthing shall be conducted and result should be less than 1.00 Ohms.

Material and labour for providing cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) for coping of poles, making base for fixing of earth strip, Air termination rod on roof top, blast pan or indicated site , path to LT panels, bollard light(bollard lights to be refixed after repair to base) and other indicated work including necessary form work and finished the surface and including dismantling of old unseerviceable PCC complete all as specified and directed by Engr in charge.

M&L for Earthing pit of PCC 1:3:6 type C1 with RCC 1:2:4 type B-1 40 mm thick cover reinforced with 6 mm dia M.S bars 3 Nos both ways with lifting hook made out of 6 mm dia bar of inner size 300 x 300x 300 mm depth with wall thickness 120mm , watering arrangement with funnel and wire mesh complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down carefully and dismantling of ceiling fan/wall mounted fan/ pedestal fan/ exhaust fan of any make or model and sweep by opening the cover, separating down rod, rotor and stator assembly, locating the fault and making the fan fully in serviceable condition with & including replacing defective components such as bearing, rubber bush/bolt, gunmetal bush, capacitor burnt windings flexible cord, worn out screws of the cover, split pin, twin core flexible copper wire of size 23/0.0076, locking nuts & machine screws with spring washer for ceiling fan blades, oiling and greasing etc, reassembling & testing the fan complete all as directed. Note:- (i) Minor spare Parts i.e locking nuts & mechine screws with spring washer, bolt included in quoted rates. (ii) Spare Parts/accessories found unserviceable & required to be replaced shall be measured and paid for separately under relevant items. (iii) Rewinding shall also be measured & paid for separately.

Rewinding of ceiling Fan of size 1200mm/1400mm sweep, 230 volts, 50Hz, AC including removal of existing burnt windings carefully from the slots, cleaning the slots thoroughly with necessary cleaning agent, applying slot insulation and rewinding the same with super enmelled copper winding wire of same gauge, same weight and same number of turns as that of existing and connecting the coils suitable to operate, capacitor type, tying the windings and applying air dry insulating varnish and drying the windings including replacing the defective components such as bearing, gun metal bush, rubber bush/bolt, capacitor, flexible cord, shaft and painting including assembling after lubricating movable components complete including testing complete all as specified and directed.

Rewinding of exhaust Fan of size 230/250/300mm sweep, 230 volts, 50Hz, AC including removal of existing burnt windings carefully from the slots, cleaning the slots thoroughly with necessary cleaning agent, applying slot insulation and rewinding the same with super enmelled copper winding wire of same gauge, same weight and same number of turns as that of existing and connecting the coils suitable to operate, capacitor type, tying the windings and applying air dry insulating varnish and drying the windings including replacing the defective components such as bearing, gun metal bush, rubber bush/bolt, capacitor, flexible cord, shaft and painting including assembling after lubricating movable components including testing complete all as specified and directed.

Rewinding of wall mounted/exhaust fan of size 450mm sweep, 230 volts, 50Hz, AC including removal of existing burnt windings carefully from the slots, cleaning the slots thoroughly with necessary cleaning agent, applying slot insulation and rewinding the same with super enmelled copper winding wire of same gauge, same weight and same number of turns as that of existing and connecting the coils suitable to operate, capacitor type, tying the windings and applying air dry insulating varnish and drying the windings including replacing the defective components such as bearing, gun metal bush, rubber bush/bolt, capacitor, flexible cord, shaft and painting including assembling after lubricating movable components including testing complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Serial item No. 28.00 to 30.00 above bearing/Gunmetal bush/rubber bush bolt/capacitor/cord flexible wire/shaft/painting shall be measured and paid separately under respective items.
