Amount

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 mtr wide and not exceeding 1.5 mtr deep for taking out / laying of under ground cable, pole or stay and getting out in soft soil strata all as specified and directed.

Returning filling in including spreading leveling watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cms spread any type of soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated materials not exceeding 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above the starting point all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying dry river sand cushioning for cable protection with a layer of 8cm deep before laying and 15cm after laying gently punned down to 10 cm on top of the cable as per SSR Part-I complete all as specified and as directed. (Note : Punned thickness shall be measured).

Supply and laying in trenches bricks common burnt clay, building brick, sub class B designation 75 old size bricks for cable protection, flat and width wise along the axis of trench all as specified and directed.

Material & Labour for supply and fixing / Laying in replacement, connecting, testing and commissioning of LT under ground cable XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric cable (heavy duty) with multistranded aluminium conductor,1100 Volts grade in trenches/on wall/poles laid in ducts/inside protection pipe of the following cross sectional area including cable glands,lugs and suitable size of MS saddle clips (where ever cable laid in ceilings / walls without cable duct) all as specified and directed.

Material & Labour Earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 60cm x 60cm x 6.3 mm thick buried directly in ground ( earth pit not less than 2.25 mtrs deep below normal ground level ) with the top edges of plate not less than 1.5 mtrs below normal ground level connected to GI strip of 25X4 mm by means of GI nuts, bolts check nuts and washers earth lead protected by 15mm dia GI pipe light grade and connected to main distribution board/earthing test point all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR part 1 and all as specified including testing on completion. Notes:-The unit rate also including for excavation, earth work in any type of strata, plain cement concrete 1:3:6 mix, Type C1 pit, 40mm thick RCC 1:2:4 mix , type B1 cover reinforced with 8mm dia TMT bars @150mm C/C both ways ,GI funnel with GI watering pipe 20mm dia med gde ,wire mesh, protection pipe 32 mm dia GI pipe light grade for earth lead upto 7.50m long complete all as specified and directed. . NOTE : If the desired earth resistance is not achieved, earthing shall be redone by the contractor at no extra cost to the department.

Material and Labour for Boring/drilling (horizontally) hole manually under existing road, pavement, hard standing (maximum 10mtr in width) suitable for insertion of GI pipe of 40 to 150mm bore for passing cable across the road (without cutting the road) complete all as specified and directed. (Note : GI pipe will be measured and paid separtely under appropriate items)

Supply and fixing GI protection pipe light grade for cable protection incl all fittings laid in trenches or fixed on pole/walls with mild steel clamps, bolts, nuts and washers complete all as specified and directed for 50 mm dia. NOTE : Earth work reqd shall be measured and paid separately.

Material & Labour for PCC 1:2:4 type B0 using 12.5 mm graded for pedestal coping including necessary formwork finished fair using extra cement all as specified and directed.
