Excavation in foundations and trenches (for pipes and pits for other civil structures) upto all depths in all kinds of soil such as pick work, jumper work and saturated soil and paved surfaces including bailing or pumping out of water, chiseling or wedging out of same where blasting is prohibited in all leads and lifts including trimming and dressing of sides, leveling of beds to correct grade including shoring, strutting, planking timbering and dewatering wherever required, stacking usable and unusable material/soil separately and after laying jointing and testing of pipes, returning the usable soil in 15 cm layer by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surplus excavated soil/unusable material as directed within all leads and lifts including cost of diversion of traffic, night signal boards, fixing caution boards, crossing over trenches for access to houses, fencing etc. complete in all respects as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge. Providing, laying, jointing, testing & commissioning at site in trenches beveled ended BIS marked MSERW pipes of various grade conforming to IS/ISO-3183-2007 of steel grade L210 or A or its equivalent specifications latest with upto date amendments of following dia with upto date amendments having wall thickness and per Rmt weight as mentioned below & capable of withstanding required test pressure as prescribed in BIS code in random lengths of 6 to 7 mtr. The pipes ends shall be beveled suitable for butt welding including the cost of jointing with butt welding conforming to IS 816-1969 or latest as applicable ends with upto date amendments (leak proof) in three layers at site of work with welding rods of standard make and all allied accessories whatever required for welding at site, tail pieces, tees, bends and other specials manufactured from parent pipes as applicable to the particular reach & of approved specification as per site conditions and cutting of pipes wherever required as per site requirement including carriage in all leads and lifts and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. The pipe shall haves zinc coating inside & out side conforming to IS/ISO-4736-1986 or latest with upto date amendments & shall be engraved with code IS/ISO-3183-2007 or its equivalent and the pipe shall be galvanized at the same factory premises of MS pipe manufacturer. The laying shall conform to BIS 5822-1970 or latest with upto date amendments with provision of scour pipe after every km by providing Tee & Sluice valve etc.complete in all respect with carriage in all leads & lifts and to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge (Earth work ,flanged joints & butt welded joints shall be measured and paid for separately).

Providing and welding MS flanges @ 5% of total length and 95% for butt weld of total length conforming to following tables as per IS 6392-1971 (Last with upto date amendments) with plan and G.I pipe in requsite number of layers on both faces to make the joint leak proof (The cost of providing and laying of GI pipes to be measured and paid for separately). The welding of flanges should conform to IS 816-1969 with electrodes as per IS: 814-1991 and required number of nuts and bolts conforming to IS 1364. including cost of gas ket sheet not less then 3.00 mm conforming to IS 2712-1998. The work shall be done tothe entire satisfaction of engineer in charge within all leads and lifts.

Providing Circumferencial Butt welded joints to following diameter and class of G.I.pipe as specified above, welded with 3-5 layers of welding (According to wall thickness of pipe ) by using 3mm to 4mm special electrodes of Advani oreion (Adore)/ ESAB make with Generator and winch and crab/ loader at site .( The cost of providing and laying of G.I. pipe and flanged joints to be measured and paid for separatly). The welding of flanges should confirm to IS 816-1965 with electrodes as per IS: 814-1967. The work shall be done as per entire satisfaction of Enginneer-in- charge with in all leads and lifts.

Providing & laying PVC insulated jointless, flat water proof copper cable of Siemens /Finolex /Grandlay /Gloster make conforming to BIS:1554 (Part I) -1988 or latest with up to date ammendments of suitable size for the pump sets offered(one cable carrying all three phases) including all other electrical equipment /accessories such as thimbles,flexible pipe, solder, nuts & bolts cable glands etc. laid in pipes or trenches under floor. The type,size & make will be subject to approval of HPSEB authorities.In case of non acceptance by HPSEB authorities it shall have to be replaced by the tenderer free of cost.

Supply of standarad make 80 mm dia circular/square dial pressure gauge of suitable range Fiebeg / Bourden / Precision make with all accessories such as stop cock,copper tubing etc. conforming to BIS 3624-1987 latest with up to date ammendments. 2 Nos

P/L/J G.I./MSERW pipe considering site requirements and having appropriate size in accordance with the delivery size of pumping set . The pipe shall conform to relevant BIS codes & capable of with standing the feild test pressure equal to 1.5 times the operating pressure including all type of fittings such as bends, tapers/ reducers, flanges, rubber gaskets 3mmthick, nuts & bolts and any other fitting required at site and work shall be to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. The pipe material shall conform to relevant BIS Code and capable of with standing FTP equal to 1.5 times the operating pressure the complete arrangement shall compromise of 1 Job
