Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth (for taking up or laying of mild steel / cast iron / galvanised iron pipes) and getting out in hard / dense soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated surplus soils not exceeding 50 m and deposited where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for welding / cutting work for mild steel pipe of dia 80 to 150 mm at leakage pipe and fixing the pipe with new pipe of existing dia and welding the both side joints with required length of mild steel pipe to restore the water supply complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: - Rates are deemed to be including hiring of T&P required at site.

Supply and fixing cast iron rising sluice valve both end flanged class PN 1.6 conforming to IS-14846-2000 with iron wheel head and brass spindle including necessary joint with nuts, bolt, washer, rubber or fiber board gasket, etc and testing complete all as specified and directed including taking down old one complete suitable for the following bore of pipes: -

100 mm bore.

150 mm bore.

Note: - Rates quoted by the contractor inclusive of necessary arrangement required for fixing of the item.

Supply and fixing cast iron non return valve both end flanged and fixed to the existing pipe line including joint with nut, bolt, washers, rubber or fiber board gasket, etc testing complete all as specified and directed including taking down old one complete suitable for the following bore of pipes: -

100 mm bore.

150 mm bore.

Supply and fixing cast iron double orifice air release valve ISI marked IS-14845 type DS2 in PN 1.0 flanged end with provision for inbuilt isolating valve to the existing pipe line including joint with necessary fittings as required at site, testing complete all as specified and as directed including taking down old one complete suitable for the following bore of pipes: -

80 mm dia.

100 mm dia.

150 mm dia.

Labour for repair / rectification of leakage of underground CI / DI pipe line of size 80 to 150 mm bore dia in position complete with excavation approximate 1.5 X 1.5 X 1.5 metre around the leakage, returning, filling in, removal, cutting / dismantling of leakage complete with and including cocking to existing lead joint, filling new lead joint burning and taking out existing lead joint as per site requirement and restore the water supply complete all as specified and as directed. Note: - Spare / fitting shall be measured and paid separately.

Material and labour in replacement for run lead joint for CI spigot and socket pipes and fittings of dia 150 mm bore with new lead complete all as specified and directed.

Taking up CI / DI water mains (including all fittings) of dia 80 mm with spigot and socket ends and lead joints including burning out joints or flanged ends including disconnecting pipes and fittings complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking up CI / DI / MS water mains (including all fittings) of dia 100 mm with spigot and socket ends and lead joints including burning out joints or flanged ends including disconnecting pipes and fittings complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking up CI / DI / MS water mains (including all fittings) of dia 150 mm with spigot and socket ends and lead joints including burning out joints or flanged ends including disconnecting pipes and fittings complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and laying mild steel black pipe P/E ISI marked conforming to IS-1239 PART - 1 (2004) of 80 mm dia bore medium grade ('B' class) with flanged joints at both ends as per site requirement in trenches, on ground or on the support above ground level by continuous welding joints 15mm thick flange joint and testing complete, duly painted with two coats of bituminous paint externally all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and laying mild steel black pipe P/E ISI marked conforming to IS-1239 PART - 1 (2004) of 100 mm dia bore medium grade ('B' class) with flanged joints at both ends as per site requirement in trenches, on ground or on the support above ground level by continuous welding joints 15mm thick flange joint and testing complete, duly painted with two coats of bituminous paint externally all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and laying mild steel black pipe P/E ISI marked conforming to IS-1239 PART - 1 (2004) of 150 mm dia bore medium grade ('B' class) with flanged joints at both ends as per site requirement in trenches, on ground or on the support above ground level by continuous welding joints 15mm thick flange joint and testing complete, duly painted with two coats of bituminous paint externally all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Notes for Ser item No 13.00, 14.00 and 15.00: - (a) Rates quoted by the contractor inclusive of necessary arrangement required for fixing of the item. (b) Flange joint and flange jointing materials, welding etc shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rates of pipe. (c) During execution of work if any damage to civil building, internet cables, electric cables, electric poles, road, nallah, the contractor shall be fully responsible and repair to damage will be executed by contractor under own arrangements.

Material and labour in replacement for mild steel fittinngs such as bends (any type, radius and angles) bend to required shape by cutting and welding including flanges as required at site and testing complete all as specified and as directed for required size of bore 80 to 150 mm including taking down of old unserviceable materials complete.

MS fittings shall be of same make as of MS pipes or of make as recommended by manufacturers.

The weight of the fittings shall be measured and paid as given in relevant IS or actually provided which ever is less.

All fittings shall bear relevant IS stamping marking.

Excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid for separately.

Cost of the joints and jointing materials shall be deemed to be included in the relevant items.

Material and labour for replacement of tubing galvanised iron "medium grade" of size 100 mm dia with flange ends and all fittings like nuts and bolts and gaskets laid in floor or borewells or trenches including taking out old unserviceable pipe of size 100 mm dia complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for replacement of tubing galvanised iron "medium grade" of size 150 mm dia with flange ends and all fittings like nuts and bolts and gaskets laid in floor or borewells or trenches including taking out old unserviceable pipe of size 150 mm dia complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement CI / DI specials for spigot and socketed / flanged CI / DI pipes 150mm dia, such as bends (any type, radius and angle) Tapers any type (straight bends, increasing, decreasing or double socket etc) tee, pieces, single branches "Y" junction, double branches cross (all sockets or socket and spigot) collars, caps and plugs, including taking out of old unserviceable specials etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement CI / DI specials for spigot and socketed / flanged CI / DI pipes 150mm dia, such as connecting pieces one end flanged and other socket or spigot and bell mouth pieces one end flanged, other end tapering as bell mouth, including taking out old unserviceable specials etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement of submersible motor rotor for 50 to 60 HP motor complete with bearing upper / lower bearing housing, sleeves, tee bolts and bush complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement of submersible motor stator for capacity 50 to 60 HP complete with thrust plate, thrust bearing with housing, studs, water seal, sand guard, rubber diaphragam with plate, sealing bush complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement of submersible cable 10 Sqmm 3 core flat copper conductor heavy duty 1100 volts grade confirming to ISI including taking down of old unserviceable submersible cable complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement of submersible cable 16 Sqmm 3 core flat copper conductor heavy duty 1100 volts grade confirming to ISI including taking down of old unserviceable submersible cable complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement of submersible cable 25 Sqmm 3 core flat copper conductor heavy duty 1100 volts grade confirming to ISI including taking down of old unserviceable submersible cable complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Transporting air compressor and other allied equipment / material at site of tube well and installation of complete machinery for re-development of tube well complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Re-development of tube well with air compressor of adequate capacity (not less than 250 Cfm) as per specification till the availability of sand free clear water, subject to minimum of 60 hours of operation of air compressor (60 x 4500) complete all as specified and as directed.

Providing of pea shaped gravel as per specification and gravel shrouding in annular space between well and liner assembly required during re-development complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing Altoch packing of 45 Kg complete all as specified and as directed.

Disconnecting all incoming / outgoing electric connection from LT panel / starter / electric motor carefully including dismantling / opening nut, bolt of discharge head and taking out submersible / VT / Monoblock motor pumping set complete with mild steel column pipe having capacity 10 to 50 HP and shifting in workshop for repair / servicing of pumping set and re-assembling / electric connection and testing at site on full load complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour in replacement including dismantling and taking down old for cross arms, channels, angle iron, bracings, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel section including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as indicated or directed and inclusive of one primer coat, one under coat and one finishing coat of paint complete all as specified and as directed.

NOTE NO 1: - Samples of materials as approved will be kept in GE's sample room. NOTE NO 2: - All fittings and fixtures mentioned above will be fixed to the satisfaction of Engr-in-Charge and GE. NOTE NO 3: - Warranty certificate to the Engineer-in-Charge where ever applicable shall be submitted by the Contractor at the time of fittings.
