REPAIR / REPLACEMENT OF SECURITY LIGHT, STREET LIGHT TIMMER, SOLAR LIGHT, STREET LIGHT POLES AND CONNECTED ALLIED SERVICES AT DINJAN MIL STN

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m deep for foundation/cable trench, not exceeding 10Sqm on plan and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning filling including spreading, levelling and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick in soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Removal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for sand cushioning with dry clean sand 15cm below cable and 8cm above the cable complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Punned thickness shall be measured for payments.

Supplying and laying old size sub class 'B' bricks laid breath wire across the length of cable in trenches for protection of UG cable complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out/down old/unserviceable under ground LT cables of any size and connections including pipes etc from trenches/walls/poles of any cross sectional area and keeping serviceable materials in safe custody for reuse and unserviceable materials removing from site complete all as specified and as directed. Note : (1) Pipes shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items of this schedule. (2) Excvation and earth work shall be measured and paid seperately.

Supply, laying, jointing, testing and commissioning cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulated, armoured, 2 core, nominal cross sectional area of main conductor 6 Sqmm, stranded aluminium conductor, ISI marked as per IS-7098 (Part-I) 1988 including cable glands, lugs etc to suit the cable size and to be laid in trenches, under floors, through GI Pipe complete all as specified and as directed.

All as item No 7 here in above but of size of cable 2 core 10 Sqmm.

S&F in repairs 25 mm dia, rigid non metalic, PVC Conduits complete with all accessories suitable for wiring to street lights complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repair for service cable, 1100 volts grade heavy duty cable with PVC insulated, stranded aluminium conductor served with an inner seathing of PVC tape armoured with galvanised steel wire or tape and overall PVC sheathed 2 core stranded conductor of 6 Sqmm nominal cross sectional area complete all as specified and as directed.

All as item No 12 here in above but of size 2core 10 sqmm.

S&F in repair single run service cable with PVC insulated, stranded copper conductor served with an inner seathing of FRLSH suitable for outdoor uses and PVC sheathed 3 core stranded conductor of 2.5 Sqmm nominal cross sectional area complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down LED/CFL/sodium vapour/metal halide/MV lamp street light/flood light/high bay lights any other light fitting of any make and size refixing the same in position after replacement of unserviceable/defective parts like fittings , lamps , LED driver etc as required to make the fittings in smooth serviceable condition and testing complete and as directed. Note : (i) Replacement of unserviceable parts shall be measured and paid seperately as "supply only" (ii) Replacement of worn out cables as per existing size and type of the fitting shall be deemed to be included in the unit quoted rate of this item. (iii) Necessary climbing arrangements like scaffolding for repairing/ removing/ refixing the fittings should be included in the quoted rate.

Supply only LED drivers suitable for any make and type of LED street light fittings of capacity 20 to 45 watt complete all as specified and as directed.

Note : The contractor should submit MOU with OEM for reslove complaint during warranty period alongwith purchase vouchers, test certificate and customer care number to lodge complaints. Manufacture technician should attend complaint within 24 Hrs of receipt of complaint through authorised mode of communication including telephonic intimation and complaint should be completed within 72 Hrs. If fails to resolve the complaint within 72 Hrs then a penalty of Rs. 2000/- per complaint per day will be applicable till rectification of complaint. Penalty amount will be debited from RAR/FINAL Bill/Security Deposit/Other running works all as decided by Garrison Engineer/Accepting Officer.

M&L for scrapping the existing surfaces of the street light poles of height 7.5 metres (painting length) with emery paper, removing the dust and rust properly and applying 2 coats of aluminum paint over complete pole and stickering the pole with glow sign round the electrical pole at three places of 10cm width and numbering with paint not less than 4 letters with glow sign material at the bottom of pole and nomenclature shall be given by Engineer-in-Charge complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repairs 50 mm bore, steel tubes, galvanised, light grade with all fittings and fixtures complete fixed to walls, ceilings, pole using suitable clamp/holder bat complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down the service connections of the lighti fittings from connector/ overhead bare conductor etc of the steet/ security lights , from height of approx 7mtr above ground by any means on PCC/Metal poles with all safety measures to remove the carbon deposits/ disconnected due to wind/wear & tear complete and connecting /fixing back the connections/fittings at existing place complete all as specified and as directed

Dismantling steel poles/ struts, any size complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for steel tubular swaged pole 410 SP-22 (8.5 metre long) including CI base plate, finial taper plug, bolts, nuts & screws as per IS 2713 Part -I & II including painting with two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer on exposed portion and making strips of width 30 cm upto 1.5 m from the ground level in black and yellow shade in alternate layer including numbering of poles using two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer and two coats of anticorrosive paint over a coat of red oxide primer to embedded portion of pole including making good to match existing area complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600x600x6 mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 m deep below normal ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 m below normal ground level connected to 4.00 GI wire by means of bolts and nuts checknuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel all as specified and shown in elecrical plate no 3 of SSR part 1 including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil PCC 1:3:6 type C1 chamber with RCC 1:2:4 type B1 40 mm thick cover with MS rod 80 mm dia 150 mm long reinforcement,watering funnel,40 mm dia light grade for protection of earth electrode 20 mm dia for watering all as specified and directed and tested on completion.
