M&L for preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags or air compressor blower to remove all loose dirt etc

Applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer of grade VG10 at the rate of 5 Kg per 10sqm on unsurfaced WBM surfaces etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for providing and laying 30mm consolidated thickness Bituminous Premix Semi Dense Asphaltic Concrete (SDAC) using paving bitumen VG-30 with 5.5 % binder by weight of total mix Rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete with 8 to 12 tonne power roller complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) In case the binder contents by weight of total mix is less than 5.5% as per actual design mix, the price adjustment shall be made as per average rates of all paid voucher for bitumen pertaining to this work. If the total binder contents as per design mix is more than 5.5%, no price adjustment shall be made for the same. (ii) Job mix formula for Semi dense asphaltic concrete shall be obtained from the institutions specified in CA prior to commencement of work and shall be got approved from the GE. complete all as specified and as directed.

Repair to potholes any depth, not exceeeding 1.0Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth, making good by and well ramming and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer of paving bitumen grade VG10 at the rate of 5 Kg per 10Sqm, putting in premixed bituminoud macadam (using 3% binder of paving bitumin grade VG 30 well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 Kg per 10 Sqm , blinded with 0.09 Cum of stone chippings 6.3mm size and again well rammed (including supply of pre-mixed macadam, binder and chippings) deppth of potholes exc 30mm complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- This item shall be applicable in existing roads where SDAC is not to be provided.)

M&L for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre lines, stops lines, dashes, arrows, etc and the like exceeding 10cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermo platic road marking paint of approved colour conforming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturer's instructions etc complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling Solar Studs and Solar Cat eyes of any description and removing from site complete all as specified.

Dismantling Dealineator of any description and removing from site complete all as specified.

Dismantling Road Side Safety Bumps of any description and removing from site complete all as specified.

Manufacturing, supplying and fixing retro reflective Overhead informatory road signage and boards of size 1.00mx1.50m size, double legged frame, (with frame work) made up of 2 mm thick aluminium sheet, face to be fully covered with high intensity and encapsulated lens type heat activated retro reflective sheeting conforming to type - III of ASTMD-4956-01 as approved by Engineer-in-Charge, letters, borders etc. as per IRC : 67-2001 in silver white with blue colour back ground and with high intensity grade, pasted on substrate by pressure sensitive adhesive backing which shall be activated by applying pressure conforming to class II of ASTM-D-4956-01 and fixing the same to the plate of structural frame work by means of suitable sized aluminium alloys, rivets or bolts & nuts @ 300 mm centre to centre all along the periphery as well as in two vertical rows along with theft resistant measures, including the cost of painting with two or more coats of epoxy paint in grey colour on the back side of aluminium sheet including appropriate priming coat. The rate includes the cost of rounding off the corners, lowering down the structural frame work from the gantry, fixing and erecting the same in position all complete as per drawings, specification and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.( Notes:-Unit rates qouted by the contractor shall be deemed to include for structural frame work including M.S. plate to be provided separately. Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) in ground floors and pavings n exc 15cm thickness (below or above ground level) and removing debris from site complete all as specified.

M&L for preparation of new surfaces of concrete as in road side kerbs and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved different tints over a coat of primer paints plaster coat complete all as specified and directed.

Providing and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5 mm), including making drainage opening wherever required complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for coloured Industrial tiles, (Johnson endura or equivalent in makes specified) 300x300x10mm thick confirming to IS laid in floors etc and set & jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match the colour of tiles complete over and including 15mm thick screed bed or bedding layer of cement mortar (1:6) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for factory made coloured Chequered cement concrete tiles 20cm x 20cm x 25mm thick, with grey cement and pigment set, jointed and pointed in neat cement slurry in floors, paths and pavements etc., over and including 20mm thick cement screed or bedding layer in cement mortar (1:6) complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for factory made coloured Chequered cement concrete tiles 30cm x 30cm x 25mm thick, with grey cement and pigment set, jointed and pointed in neat cement slurry in floors, paths and pavements etc., over and including 20mm thick cement screed or bedding layer in cement mortar (1:6) complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Sand filling using sand suitable for plasters under floors or in foundations including watering and consolidation complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 100mm thick cement concrete (1:4:8) type D-2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in sub base of floors or hardstanding complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 50mm thick cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in levelling course, sub base of floors, sub course, flooring. Paths, pavement etc., complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of brickwork or stone/boulder masonry, built in cement mortor including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stone work and precast concrete articles etc complete all as specified.

Demolition of Reinforced Cement Concrete of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for and reinforcement cut as required to facilitate demolition complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Precast cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in landings, cover slabs (for man holes etc.) chullah hoods, chajjas, water troughs, mangers, shelves and similar articles with plain faces, including chamfers, weatherings, throat- ing etc. and setting in mortar (1:6) complete with joints to match complete all as specified and directed. (Note:- Reinforcement shall be measured and paid for separately)

M&L for Cast-in-situ cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in lintels upto 1.5m clear span, cills, steps; seismic and other similar bands, plinth courses, string courses, lacing courses, parapets and railings upto 60 cm in height, copings, kneelers, apex stones, bed plates, kerbs not provided for in Item 04028, water troughs and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating including necessary formwork complete all as specified and directed.

S&F mild steel TMT bars 10 mm dia and over cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia, or securing with clips complete all as specified.

Dismantling old manhole cover/slab of any description and removing from site complete all as specified.
