RENOVATION OF SCHOOL

Renovations works :

Providing best available local wood (Class-B II) work in frames of false celling partitions and trusses etc, sawn and put up in position.

Providing and fixing 44mm thick best available local wood Class – BI (19mm batten and 25mm bracing) battened and braced doors and windows shutters including providing and fixing necessary bright finished or black enameled T-hinges, butt hinges, sliding door bolts, tower bolts and handles with necessary bolts and nuts and screws complete.

25mm thick wooden plank walling butt jointed with wooden beading 50 x 25 mm including supplying and fixing with necessary nails, screws etc complete.

Half brick masonry (with available local bricks) in cement mortar 1:3 (01 Cement : 03 coarse sand)in foundation and plinth.

Extra for half brick masonry in superstructure above plinth level and up to floor two level.

15mm cement plaster on the rough side of single or half brick wall of mix 1:4 (01 cement : 4 fine sand).

12mm thick cement plaster 1:4 (01 cement : 04 fine sand) on walls.

25mm thick cement concrete flooring 1:2:4 (1 Cement : 2 Coarse sand : 04 Graded. Stone aggregate 12.5MM nominal size) finished with a floating coat of neat cement

Providing corrugated GI sheet roofing fixed with galvanised iron J or L hooks, bolts & nuts 8mm dia with bitumen and GI limpet washers or with GI limpet washers filled with white lead complete excluding the cost of purlins, rafters and trusses. 0.63 MM thick GS Sheet

Providing ridges or hips 60 cm overall in plain GI sheet fixed with galvanised iron J or L hooks, bolts and nuts 8 mm dia. GI limpet and bitumen washers complete. 0.63 mm thick GI sheet.

Providing and fixing 4.0 mm thick asbestos plain sheet celling of approved quality with necessary nails etc. complete (frame work for base to be paid separately).

Providing and fixing plain, square edged wooden beading 38mm x 12mm section with screws of approved quality for celling. Best local approved quality wood.

Extra for making chamfered edges of beading.

Painting two coats with oil types wood preservative of approved brand and manufacture on new work.

Applying priming coat with ready mixed pink primer of approved brand and manufacture on wood work complete.

Painting two or more coats (excluding priming coat) with superior ready mixed paint for wood work of approved brand and manufacture in all shades on new work to give an even shade.

Applying one coat of distemper primer of approved brand and manufacture on wall surface

Distempering (two or more coats) with oil bound washable distemper of approved brand and manufacture and of required shade on new work over and including a priming coat with distemper primer of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade.

Applying priming coat with ready mixed primer of approved brand and manufacture on steel work.

Painting two or more coats on GI sheets with ready mixed superior paint of approved brand and manufacture on new work to give and even shade.

Providing and fixing soft wood ‘EVE’ board 25mm thick and 225mm wide including painting two coats complete as directed.

Making plinth protection 50 mm thick of cement concrete 1:3:6(01 cement:03 coarse sand:06 stone aggregate using 20mm nominal size) over 75mm bed of stone ballast 40mm nominal size well rammed and consolidated and grouted with fine sand including finishing the top smooth.

Construction of cement concrete drain 30cm wide and 23cm deep in cement concrete 1:3:6 (01 cement:03 sand:06 hard graded stone chips/shingle 40mm and down gauge) 8 cm thick on sides and bottom and plastering on all exposed surfaces with 12 mm thick cement mortar 1:3 (01 cement 03 fine sand) including shuttering complete.

Providing and laying cement concrete 1:3:6 (01 cement : 03 coarse sand : 06 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size) excluding the cost of centering an shuttering in. Foundations and Plinth.

Providing and laying cement concrete 1:2:4 (01 cement:02 coarse sand:04 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size) excluding the cost of centering and shuttering in. Foundations and plinth.

Add additional GST in lieu of increased GST from 12% to 18% as per CPWD letter No 158/SE(TAS)/GST/2002/331-H Dated 10/08/2002-6.33%

Add 1.5 Contingencies
