Providing and applying 5 mm thick anti-static medium duty polyurethane floor topping, Nitoflor SL3000UT ESD which classifies as Type 5 floor as per BS 8204-6 on sound concrete surface. Exisiting ESD flooring to be removed. Carry out surface preparation including grinding or light shot blasting of concrete surface, proper cleaning to remove loose mortar, paint residuals,repairing of floor cracks and dents, application of scratch coat using Nitoflor SL3000UT @ coverage of 10 m2/pack, allow the same to cure for 12-48 hrs, setting of earthing connections at appropriate locations (3x 3 meters), mixing and applying the undercoat of Nitoflor SL 3000UT ESD undercoat (supplied in 2.4 litre pack) at a thickness of 1 mm and application should be done such that puddles are not formed,mixing of liquid base and hardener of Nitoflor SL3000UT ESD (supplied in 16.00 kg pack+Fosroc anti-static additive 0.006 kg) into a large plastic container and mix for 1 minute, subsequently adding antistatic additive and coloured aggregates and continue mixing to obtain a homogeneous mix,application of mixed Nitoflor SL 3000UT ESD coverage @ 2.85 m2/pack @ 3 mm topping and levelling using a spiked roller and allow it to dry for atleast 4 days. The cured floor shall exhibit the following properties: Compressive strength (ASTM C109) >43 MPa, Bond strength (ASTM D4541) > 1.5 MPa, Flexural strength (BS 6319) >20 MPa, Tensile strength (BS 6319-7)> 6 MPa, Density (ASTM D792) - 1750-1850 kg/cum, Surface to earth resistance (ASTM F150) - <1 x 10^6 Ohm, Cure time to light pedestrian traffic - 12 hours, cure time to light wheeled traffic - 36 hours, cure time to medium duty traffic - 48 hours, cure time to heavy duty traffic - 7 days, full chemical resistance - 7 days.HSE Guidelines: Nitoflor SL3000UT ESD should not come in contact with the skin and eyes, or be swallowed. Ensure adequate ventilation and avoid inhalation of vapours. Wear suitable protective clothing, gloves and eye protection. If working in confined areas, suitable respiratory protective equipment must be used. The use of barrier creams provide additional skin protection. In case of contact with skin, rinse with plenty of clean water, then cleanse with soap and water. Do not use solvent. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of clean water and seek medical advice. If swallowed,seek medical attention immediately - do not induce vomiting.
