Excavation in hilly area in all heights and depths and in all classification of soil by manual / mechanical means including saturated soil comprising of ordinary soil, soft rocks, hard rocks, chiseling/ wedging out rock (where blasting is prohibited) and their intermediate classification of soil setting out true to the required line, grades, width cutting and trimming of side slopes and level as shown in the drawing and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge at site according to the MORD technical specification section 300 and 1600 and sorting out useful materials and stacking the same in all leads, lifts in acquired width of the road and transportation of un-useful materials for filling in road ways, camber embankments for grade improvements and disposal of all surplus material to the approved dumping sites through all modes of transportation including head load of animals transport or mechanical means along with its levelling fine dressing and hauling /carriage of machineries, material, tool equipments and safety measures. All useful material such as stone, shingles, aggregates and slates etcetra of sorted out and stacked in proper stack. Recovery for useful stones of 108.84 (One hundred eight decimal eight four) cubic metre at the rate of Rs. 300/- (Rupees three hundred) only per cubic metre shall be effected from the contrcator,s bill on pro-rata basis as per actual quantity executed. Any loss to the public/ private property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be compensated by him in all case. Earth work in excavation for all type of road structure such as retaining walls, breast walls, culverts drains and parapets etcetera in all type of classification of soil ,comprising of ordinary soil, ordinary rock ,hard rock chiseling/ wedging out rockls (where blasting is prohibited) as per drawing and MORD technical specification section 300 & 1600 and as per the directions of the Engineer-in-charge including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing ,removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal of materials upto any leads and lift including dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable/approved materials to the original surface in layers not exceeding 150 mm ( one hundred fifty millimetres) compacted thickness including shoring and strutting and pumping and bailing out water (surface and sub soil water) upto any depth and any quantum of water including cleaning of slush which may arise out during dewatering as per direction of Engineerr-in-charge including carriage of materials within all leads ,lifts and other incidentals. Back filling with granular material behind abutments, wing walls, return walls and retaining walls complete as per drawing and MORD technical specifications section 1200 & 1600 including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. Providing and laying 100mm (one hundred millimeter) diametre PVC pipe weep holes in brick masonry/stone masonry, plain reinforced concrete, Abutments, Wing walls, Return walls and retaining/breast walls extended through the full width of the structure with slope I(V):20(H)(One vertical : Twenty Horizontal) towards draining face complete as per drawing and MORD technical specification section 700, 1200 and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials with in all leads, lifts and other incidentals.
