REPAIR MAINT OF STREET LIGHT AT OLD CANTT AND JNM AXIS AREA UNDER GE GANGTOK

Excavation in trenches n.exc 1.5 m wide and n.exc 1.5m depth for taking out/ laying of under ground cables etc and getting out in hard/dense soil complete all as specified and directed. Note : Any damages made/caused to the HT/LT cables, Water Supply pipe lines , OFC Cables etc during the excavation of works shall be made good by the Contractor as per Original & to the entire satisfaction of Engr-in Charge & GE. Cost of the same is deemed to be included in the unit quoted rates.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick in hard/dense soil complete all as specified and as directed

Removal of surplus excavated material (soil) to a distance not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.50m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for providing PCC (1:2:4) type B-1, (using (20mm graded stone aggregate) for coping of poles including necessary form work etc complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for cutting the existing hard standing/PCC/WBM road at a depth not less than 45 cm and 25 cm in width for passing of cable through GI pipe, returning filling in, complete including finishing the surfaces by providing cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) upto 20 cm depth, finishing to a uniform smooth surface to match the existing surface complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) GI pipes shall be measured and paid separately. (ii) Any damages made/caused to the HT/LT cables, Water Supply pipelines , OFC Cables etc during the excavation works shall be made good by the Contr as per Original & to the entire satisfaction of Engr-in Charge & GE. Cost of the same is deemed to be included in the unit quoted rates.

Taking out old unserviceable, burnt, punctured aluminium conductor cable LT, PVC/XLPE, 1100 volts grade, of cross sectional area upto 16 Sqmm all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying Galvanized Iron pipe light grade of dia 50mm for cable protection in trenches/ducts/floors or fixed on walls / roof / poles etc including suitable fixing accessories complete all as specified and directed. Make : Swastik/Jindal/Prakash. Note :- Wherever the protection pipes are to be laid/fixed on poles/walls/other surface the cost of clamping using appropriate size/type of MS clamps,nuts, bolts etc is deemed to be included in the unit quoted rates.

Supplying, laying, commissioning & testing of LT underground cable, XLPE insulated, armoured heavy duty electric cable with aluminium conductor, 1100 volts grade, cross sectional area 2 core 10 Sqmm, including cable lugs, connection/termination complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Wherever the cables are to be laid/fixed on poles/walls /other surfaces the cost of clamping using appropriate size/type of Saddles,MS Clamps,nuts both etc is deemed to be included in the unit quoted rates.

Supplying and laying of DWC HDPE pipe .lSI marked in trenches or in cable ducts or fixed on walls using clamps along with all accessories like socket, bend, couplers etc. conforming to IS 14930, Part II complete with fitting and cutting, jointing etc. of size 50 mm outer dia complete all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

S & F loop in- loop junction box of internal dimension 130 x 180 x 77 mm made out of polycarbonate and locking arrangement incl 6 Amps MCB - 1 No, 20 Amps rated 4 way connectors for 3 phase and neutral incoming/out going, mounted in the box, fixing on steel tubular poles including necessary clamps, suitable glands, lugs and GI nut and bolts including taking down old unserviceable junction box complete all as specified and directed. S & F in replacement PVC insulated flexible multicore round copper conductor cable of size 3 core 1.5 Sqmm including necessary end connector incl taking down unserviceable cable complete all as specified and directed. M & L for preparation of old painted surfaces of street light steel tubular poles above GL/coping including cross arms channels, flat iron clamps by scrapping with wire brush and applying one coats of aluminium paint including pole numbering using three layer of radium strip of min 4-5 inch wide (Yellow, Green, Blue) on each pole using Printastic letter all as specified and directed. Note : (i) Ladders scaffolding, safety belts etc required for excavation of the works shall be arranged by the contractor & the cost of the same is deemed to be included in the unit quoted rates. (ii) Contractor shall be fully responsible for the safety aspects of the people engaged by him & any issues (if any) arising during the work shall be dealt by the Contractor & the Dept shall be no way responsible whatsoever.
