Material and labour for preparing old black top surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with using air blower to remove all loose dirt etc complete and applying evenly a coat of cold Polymer Modified emulsion (PME) by using mechanical sprayer, spraying of total cold liquid PME 0.5 Litre per sqm (undiluted) for one coat with mineral filler as recommended by manufacture of PME(after diluting with water), each coat diluted with in the ratio 1:1(PME:Water) and ensure uniform finish on applied area . Complete all as per manufacturer instruction and all as specified and directed by Engineer In Charge . Make :- Polymer Modified Emulsion (PME) Brand name : EMULCOTE of M/s L N Petro Chem Pvt Ltd/ HINMAT PLUS (Polymer modified emulsion ) of Hindustan Coals Pvt ltd. Notes:- The tender shall take into consideration the following points while coating the rates for this item: (a) The work shall be carried out by the manufacturer or his authorised applicator only. (b) Care shall be taken to fill wider gaps/cracks with 0.60 mm to 2.36 mm size coarse sand as per manufacture's instructions. (c) A Performance guarantee certificate for two years shall be submitted by the contractor to the GE on completion of the work as specified. (d) Contractor shall carryout friction test at regular interval as directed using CFME (Continuous Friction Measuring Equipment). The test is to be got done from Government Engineering College/Bangalore University. Nothing extra shall be payable on this account, the quoted rates are deemed to be inclusive for carrying out this test also. The test using CFME will be conducted on the surface of application of PME before and after application of PME and certificate towards this will be submitted for the same. (e) Contractor should take all precaution to cover and protect the Airfield lights falling in the area of work and make good the same in case of damage. (f) Care shall be taken to protect the existing painted lines/marking in the airfield to avoid splashes/spillages of Emulsion during application.

Material and Labour for one coat of painting lines, dashes, arrows,letters etc on bituminous/ concrete surfaces exceeding 10 cm width, with approved water base paint of colour white, Golden yellow, deep orange, PO red and black as per the requirement in the Air field including preparation of surfaces complete all as specified and directed. Note : Coverage area of paint shall be 10 Sqm / Ltr adding 10-15% of potable water (Runway surfaces) Make : APCOTRAK of Asian paints or Equivalent in Berger/Shalimar

Material and Labour for one coat of painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc on bituminous/ concrete surfaces exceeding 10 cm width, with approved water base paint of colour white, Golden yellow, deep orange, PO red and black as per the requirement in the Air field including preparation of surfaces complete all as specified and directed. Note : Coverage area of paint shall be 6 Sqm / Ltr adding 10-15% of potable water (Dispersals and taxitracks) Make : APCOTRAK of Asian paints or Equivalent in Berger/Shalimar

M&L for approved red earth filling in Shoulders of flight strips duly cleared the grass and vegetation growth and laying of earth in layers n exc 25cm thick spread, levelled and rammed and rolled with 8-10 TON Road Roller including watering in the required compaction level and gradient/slope all as specified and as directed. Note: water as required will have to be brought in bouser as directed.

Removal of damaged Sign boards of any type and size from the Air filed for repair works all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix 5mm thick polycarbonate sheet panel, suitable for fixing stickers in one side for various types of Sign board in Air Field area of any size as in repairs/replacement and for new sign boards, all as specified and directed .

Material and labour for HIP (Reflective) stickers in repairs and replacement of various size and shape on different types of sign boards of Air field area using 3M ™ High Intensity Grade Prismatic Reflective sheeting 3930 to 3937 series of approved colour fixing with pressure sensitive adhesive for unique construction providing high levels of retro reflectivity for multiple traffic situations providing long term reflectivity and durability all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for AV 450 series colour vinyls stickers, as in repairs and replacement of various size and shape sign boards as writing numerical, alphabets, border and arrow etc.. of Air field area all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing of CPVC Pipe 50mm bore and 5mm of wall thickness, fixed to Polycarbonate sheet panel and Aluminiun sections/angles of various sizes as in support /stay for Sign boards etc. all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing of aluminium angle/sections of required size and shape suitable for fixing Polycarbonate sheet panel as Sign boards of various sizes in repair and new Sign boards etc. all as specified and directed.

Fixing of repaired / newly prepared Sign boards of any type and size in the Air field with all necessary embedding in PCC 1:2:4, all as specified and directed.
