PROVISION OF SOLAR STREET LIGHTS AT YKPI AND

Supply of 12 Watt Solar LED Street Light with high efficiency LED having minimum luminous output of 1500 lumens. The system shall be provided with a mono crystalline solar panel of 40 Watt capacity and 12 Volt rating. The battery shall be Lithium Iron Phosphate type with minimum 24 Ah capacity and 12 Volt rating suitable for backup operation of 10 to 12 hours. The charge controller shall be based on PWM or MPPT technology with automatic dusk to dawn operation. The system shall provide minimum two to three days autonomy backup. The luminaire housing shall be made of die cast aluminium and shall be weatherproof in construction. The complete unit shall have minimum IP65 protection rating. The street light shall be suitable for pole top mounting and capable of operating in ambient temperatures from minus 10 degree Celsius to plus 60 degree Celsius. The luminaire shall carry a minimum three years warranty.

Supply of galvanized iron pole having a height of 5 meter above ground level. The pole shall be octagonal or tubular in design and made with minimum 3 millimeter wall thickness. The pole shall be provided with a mild steel base plate and foundation bolts. The surface of the pole shall be hot dip galvanized. The pole shall be designed to withstand local wind conditions. The pole shall be installed on a reinforced cement concrete foundation with proper grouting.

Supply of street light controller with automatic dusk to dawn sensing facility. The controller shall provide protection against overcharge deep discharge and short circuit conditions. The wiring shall be copper conductor type suitable for outdoor use and resistant to weather conditions. The kit shall include compatible connectors and a weatherproof junction box having minimum IP65 protection. Earthing provision shall be included with the complete wiring kit

Supply of mounting bracket and pole clamp suitable for installation of solar street light systems. The material shall be mild steel or galvanized iron. The surface finish shall be hot dip galvanized or powder coated. The bracket shall provide adjustable tilt angle for optimum solar panel orientation. The bracket and clamp shall be suitable for installation on a 5 meter galvanized iron pole. All fasteners used shall be made of stainless steel.

Supply of copper conductor earthing wire having 8 square millimeter cross sectional area. The total length supplied shall be 200 meter. The supply shall include all accessories required for installation including clamps lugs and connectors. The earthing arrangement shall comply with relevant Indian standards. Pipe plate or chemical earthing provisions shall be provided as required.
