Preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked, mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming/ tack coat with bituminous primer using paving bitumen (VG-10) @ 5 Kg/ 10 Sqm complete all as specified and as directed.

Meterial and labour for bituminous premix asphaltic semi-dense concrete 40 mm consolidated thickness with minimum 6% binder (paving bitumen grade VG-30) content by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed.

Repairs to potholes any depth, not exc. 1.00 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened and graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix in repairs for two way reflective road stud of size 100x100x18.50 mm made of heavy duty body of moulded ASA (acrylic styrene acryloretrite) or HIP (high impact polystryne) or ABS having electronically welded micro-prismatic lens with abrasion resistant coating as approved by GE. The cats eye shall support a load of 25 tonne and impact strength shall be about 253 KN and shall be tested in accordance with ASTM D4280. The slope of retro-reflective surface shall be 35+5 degrees to base. The reflective panels on both sides with at least 12cm of reflective area up each side. The studs shall be fixed to the road surface using the adhesive conforming to IS as per manufactures recommendation complete all as specified and as directed. Make : DARK EYE, Model: DA 978/OSCAR, Model No. OS 776 or equivalent.

Supply and fix in repairs for solar powered road studs of self illuminating, flashing type having 3 Nos LEDs for bi-directional studs (flashing not thickering), visibilty minimum 1000 metres, flashing rate 65-75 times per minute with detachable Ni-MH battery of 1.2 volt to give back up of at least 3-4 days from fully charged condition and it should be attached just before fixing and should not be accessible once installed, made of robust aluminium die-cast housing with embossed edges for protection against bullock cart iron wheels, having reflector strips in addition to LEDs stud cable of withstanding load of full loaded carriers on the road up to 10 tonnes (approx), having protected top of maximum 20mm above surface, tapering bottom anchor of maximum 55 mm length (including bottom cap) with at least 6 Nos external anti twist ribs projecting out from bottom anchor, waterproof, IP 65 grade protection as per IS 12063-1987, category 2, tested to perform satisfactorily for minimum 100 hours, under rapid thermal cycling tests as per IEC 1215 between -40 to +85 degrees centigrade, weight minimum 700 grams, minimum size 125 x 125 x 25 + 5mm (60mm shank) complete all as specified and as directed.

Meterial and labour for painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters, etc on roads pavements and the like not. exc 10 cm wide with thermoplastic road marking painting, white or golden yellow complete all as specified and as directed.
