(v) Natural moisture content (NMC), void ratio and porosity, Tri- axial and direct shear test and confined compression test of undisturbed samples and bulk,submerged and dry density of the soil.
b)Compilation of SSI Report as per IS (viz. Filed and laboratory test results, Preparation of reports, Recommendation for different type of foundations, water table) with clear unambiguous recommendations for types of foundation for all structures with bearing capacity/pile capacities. The recommendations will be duly vetted by the vetting agency as per Notes.

| 4.10Item No.4 Contd/.. Notes:- 1. Following points to be included in SSI report (not comprehensive, appropriate data/information may be added as per requirement:- (a) Introduction (b) Objective of the geotechnical investigations (c) Details of the proposed structures (d) Site conditions (e) Field investigations (f) Laboratory test results (g) Soil profile (h) Allowable bearing capacity- based on ‘N’ values, ‘c-Ø value and permissible settlement with sample calculations. Complete calculations will be submitted in soft copy in the same CD containing the SSI report. (j) Liquefaction analysis with calculations. (k) Foundation alternatives duly tabulated building wise. (l) Clear recommendations duly vetted by IIT/NIT/ Govt Engg College. A table showing building name, BH No, depth & coordinate of the BH corrected SPT ‘N’ values and the recommended SBC and clear recommendation for depth and type including any required soil improvement matching with the site plan should form part of the recommendations. (m) Annexure including bore logs, c-Ø and indicated for BHs, likelihood of water- logging at site must also be checked. 2. If the soil/water has high (more than permissible) contents of sulphate, chlorides or any other deleterious material, the same should be brought out and appropriate recommendation be offered. The required chemical analysis needs to be undertaken for the same. 3. All relevant IS code on the subject should be followed and mentioned at appropriate places. | |||||
| 5.00 | Design & construction of sedimentation tank of 7.0 x 3.7 x 3.5 m height with additional 0.3 m free board with one parallel to width baffle wall so that clear water to be collected from top of the tank, the construction shall be in RCC M30 construction complete with reinforcement, form work, plaster, outlet flange and drain flange for sediments etc. complete in all respect as directed complete all as specified and directed,
Note:
(i) Min 5 years guarantee on complete assembly including food grade epoxy coated paint to be submitted by the contractor.
Note for Sr. Item No.5:
(i) The design shall confirm to latest IS:1893, IS 4326, IS:13920, IS 800 SP 34, IS-456 and other relevant codes.
(ii) The structure falls in Zone V.
(iii) Structural analysis & design shall be done on latest version of STAAD.
(iv) Structural design shall be got vetted from any IIT/NIT/ Govt Engineer college.
(v) Contractor shall discuss the concept design with SO-I (Design)/Director (Design) of HQ CESZ before finalising the Str design.
(vi) The RCC Sump shall be M-30 as per design consideration.
(vii) The fdn shall be design as per the SBC of the soil at the loc of construction.
(viii) The Contractor shall provide the STAAD file/ AUTOCAD drg in soft copy, design folder and drgs duly vetted by any IITs/NITs/ Govt Engineer Collage shall be submitted alongwith above said soft copy.
(ix) The contractor shall execute the work as per the said Str drg only after approval of same from Accepting Officer.

Notes:
(i) Earth required for the item, shall be supplied by contractor, from out side MOD land of any lead, at his own arrangement.
(ii) All cost of procurement of earth including cost of transportation, compaction, royalties, tax etc shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted by the contractor.
(iii) With reference to clause 3.6 of MES part-II on serial page No-21 it is clarified that measurement of the above item shall be of finished embankment /traverse of filled earth after consolidation /compaction and 5% deduction shall be made from measured and calculated volume to allow for increase in bulk.
(iv) Total quantity /partial quantity of earth may not be available in Jorhat Area. The contractor has to bring the earth from out side area and therefore it is advised to quote the rate considering availability of soil and its lead involved.
