Design, Fabrication and Installation of new gates connected parts at Head Gates at Marallian along with allied works.

Dismantling of winch machine from the top supporting structure of 04 no. cross gates installed at head works Murallian by way of unscrewing/ cutting the rusted nuts, bolts, then extracting out the gate leaf using crane /special tools and tackles and manual labour. Then dismantling / extracting out the embedded parts, i.e., side channels, central I-section between two gates along with sill beam at the bottom with the help of vibrator/breaker and other tools & tackles. Grouting the 04 No. sliding channel of size 125mm and 4.20mtr in length (approx.), 02 No. I-section of size 150X08mm and length 4.30mtr and 04 No. sill beam channel of size 125 mm and length 1.565mtr (approx.) by way of chemical grouting/ PCC work along with required no. of grouting bolts. Fabrication of04 No. leaf structure of sizes 1.88X1.56mtr (aprox.) using the channel of 75X40MM size consisting of 04 No. vertical length of 1.80 mtr (aprox.) and 04 No. horizontal length of 1.56mtr (aprox.) for each leaf structure. Then welding of 10mm thick MS sheet on the channel frame of 1.88X1.56mtr size by way of cutting & welding using superior quality electrodes and then finishing it by grinding. Also making of provision for stem rod attachment. Strengthening of winch machine mechanism by way of providing and fitting of one no. internally threaded bush to match with the external threads of stem rod for each gate to their housing and locking it by fabricating and fitting of locking ring using required nuts and bolts. Complete painting of gate structure by way of providing two coats of superior quality enamel paint after applying two coats of red oxide primer. Providing/ fixing the rubber seal at the bottom of each gate securing with the help of MS flat with required no. of nuts and bolts. Loading the gate structure in the mechanical transport for carriage to site of installation. Unloading at the site then lowering down all the gate leaf structure in the sliding channels/ grooves using crane and skilled manual labour. Fitting the stem rod to the gate attachment and assembling the top cover of the winch mechanism. Greasing the new gate structure channels and winch mechanism completely. Checking the operation of the gate for smooth up & down movement.The job also involves fabrication of plate form for operation of gates by way of fixing/grouting 02 no channel all along the gates structure of 24feet length approximately then welding of checker plates on the fixed channel of 24’x 3.3’size of 12mm thickness. Complete job includes cost of material including rebate on old material, transportation charge, labour charges and testing for its smooth operation at site. Note: The rates are inclusive of all taxes and the bidders are advised to visit the site and quote the rates including the rebate on old material. Any modification/alternation if needed at the time of execution of job shall be carried out at site accordingly.
