Excavation in trenches n.exc 1.5m wide and n.exc 1.5 m in depth for foundation etc or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes etc n.exc 10 sqm on plan and n.exc 1.5m in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as per specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers n exc 25cm complete all as per specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Removing excavated material not exc. 50 m & depositing where directed at a level not exc. 1.5 m above starting point complete all as per specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Taking out old existing GI/CI/PPR water mains 150 mm bore (including all fittings) with spigot and socket ends and fittings for re-use in the work and removing unserviceable pipes and fittings from site complete all as per specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

S&F gun metal globe or gate valve, with iron wheel head screwed both ends for iron pipe of 50 mm bore including dismantling unserviceable one complete all as per specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

All as per serial item No. 37 above but valve of size 25 mm bore.

S&F cast iron sluice valve for 150 bore pipe, heavy duty, (PN-1.6), ISI mark with stainless steel/brass spindle and cast iron wheel head confirming to IS-14846 flanged both ends and including all jointing materials required viz rubber gasket 3mm thick, bots, nuts and washers including dismantling old unserviceable one complete all as per specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

All as per serial item No. 40 above but valve of size 80 mm bore.

S&F cast iron fittings for flanged pipes upto 150 mm bore such as Bends. Tapers, Tee pieces (single & double branch) any type and angle/radius and straight connecting pieces but all ends flanged including necessary gasket, nut bolts etc including taking down old unserviceable fittings complete all as per specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note:- The contract sum shall be calculated by deducting the amount shown in Credit Schedule attached to this tender, from total amount of Schedule 'A'/BOQ.
