PROVN OF MECHANICAL LAUNDRY AT HQ EAC (U) AF UNDER GE (I) (AF) SHILLONGINSTALLATION OF WATER FILTERATION PLANT WITH NEW TECH I.E HYDROSIS SYSTEM AT OFFICER MESS AT HQ EAC (U) AF GE (I) AF SHILLONG

Supply, installation, testing & commissioning installation of Hydro-dis systems in Water Tank for daily water consumption capacity 35000 Ltrs/per day of tank capacity 21000 Ltrs, installation of 1 Nos. of Hydrodis U100 System in recirculation mode. Further, dosing of salt would be required, if the chloride content is less than 50ppm including requisite electrical connections with copper cable and including foundation work as per manufacturer's instructions complete all as specified and directed. The scope of the work includes the following: (a) Supply of treatment plant equipment as per approved technical design. (b) Installation, testing and commissioning at site. (c) Operator training & providing O&M manuals. (d) UPVC piping, valves and required connections for operating the system in recirculating mode. (e) Control Panel (f) Warranty for the electromechanical component shall be for 5 years from the certified date of completion of the contract. (g) Complete maintenance and service of the system for a period of Five years from the certified date of completion of the contract. The contractor shall quote rate accordingly and nothing extra shall be paid on this account. Contractor is required to deposit five (05) Fixed Deposits corresponding to each year of AMC of above item before initiating final bill of the contract after successful completion of the contract. The amount of each fixed deposit shall be 1% of the quoted amount and each FD shall be released by GE after succesful completion of AMC for each year. However in case the contractor fails to deposit the FDs, the corresponding amount of security deposit i.e. 5% of the quoted amount, shall be retained from the final bill and shall be refunded @ 1% after completion of each year AMC. This security deposit shall be in addition to the performance security deposit as applicable @ 5% of the contract value in terms of condition 19 of IAFW-2249 (General conditions of contracts) forming part of the contract. (h) Any service and spare parts after Five years will be provided on a chargeable basis, if any such requirement is placed by the GE. (j) However, the warranty shall be considered as void if the equipment is damaged (accidentaly or intentionally by any unauthorised personnel) or if the operation and services are performed by any unauthorized personnel. Note: The complete work of installation of the filtration plant as described here-in-above shall be executed through authorised Service Engineer/Authorised technician of the OEM
