NOTE FOR ALL PAINITNG ITEMS :- The following precautionary measures shall be ensured by the contractor during execution of work :- (i) Contractor shall deposit entire quantity of materials (proprietory materials) in sealed containers required for painting works covered under subject contract in the custody of Engineer-In-Charge/ Office in charge of unit. (ii) The materials as required shall be issued to contractor by JE/ Engineer-In-Charge on daily basis and the empty containers/ bags shall be deposited in the store of Engineer -In-Charge by the contractor, for verification as per standard consumption/ coverage prescribed by the manufacturers. (iii) Before applying cement base paint/weather proof acrylic emulsion paint contractor shall use the wire brush for the removal of loose paint, dust, algae, moss and filling of crack using crack sealent and cleaning of surface by spray jet. (iv) Application of cement base paint strictly done by spray/mechanical spray machine only, otherwise 30% cost shall be reecovered from the respective item. (v) After completion of painting work contractor shall remove and clean all the droplets/stain of paint left on the floor, glasses and joinery.

NOTE FOR PLUMBING AND SANITARY ITEMS:- (i) Contractor shall deposit entire quantity of plumbing and sanitary wares materials required / covered under subject contract in the custody of Engineer-In-Charge/ Office in charge of unit. (ii) The materials as required shall be issued to contractor by JE/ Engineer-In-Charge on daily basis.

Dismantling of asbestos cement (corrugated, semi corrugated, etc.) sheets in roof coverings

Material and labour for 6mm thick asbestos cement, corrugated or semi-corrugated sheets in roofs, walls etc fixed with L-type or J-type or cranked hook bolts complete all as specified and as directed.

Description all as per item No 4 above but except AC sheet

Material and labour for asbestos cement two piece adjustable plain wing ridge 6mm thick fixed with L-type or J-type or cranked hook bolts complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling of plain or corrugated/galvalume steel sheeting, any gauge, thickness, including Nainital or similar pattern roof coverings

Supply and fix for pre- painted galvatume aluminum zinc coating GI based corrugated steel sheet 0.50mm thick of an colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering/cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix for 0.63 mm plain Galvanised, mild steel sheeting, in ridges, hips, valley Gutters, drip and straight flashings (length and girth as fixed) with grade of zinc coating 275. fixed with self tapping /coach screws as complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling timber framed work scantlings 40 sq.cm and over in section, in any position.

Description all as per ser No 10 above but in fillets, rails, posts, rafters, purlins etc under 40 sq. cm in section.

Supply and fix for 2nd class hard wood timber framed and fixed clean sawn in scantling all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix rolled sections as in main and cross beams, hip and jack rafters; purlins where connected to common rafters and running rails and guides for sliding doors; fixed with angle cleats or other connecting plates confirming to Fe-410 W(Gde E-250) quality B

Removing of old water proofing treatment and cleaning the surface of slab and clearing with wire brushes, removing dust, foreign material, rubbish off the site to a distance n.exc. 100m complete all as specified and directed

Material and labour for 10 mm thick rendering in cement mortar 1:3 on RCC roof slabs mixed water proofing compound @ 3% mixed with by weight of cement finishing even and smooth to receive water proofing treatment complete without using extra cement all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. NOTE :- WPC shall be measured and paid separately.

Material and labour for water proofing treatment over RCC slab by applying oil based bituminous primer surface @0.25 Kg/sqm and laying 3mm thik APP modified water proofing polymeric membrane with 100 mm side and end lap having weight not less than 3.50 kg/ sqm, reinforced with with non-woven polyster reinforced matt weighing not less than 160 gms/sqm polyster core having soften point not less than 1500C, longitudinal tensile strength not less than 650 N/5cm, by torching method and applying a coat of solar reflective aluminium paint @ 0.15 Kg/Sqm on membrance surface including 24 hrs ponding test complete all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in Charge.

Supply and fix interlocking aluminium alloy anodised snap grid consists of main Tee runners of size 38mm x25mm x1.5mm spaced 1200mm centre to centre and cross Tee of size 25mmx25mmx 1.5mm, 1200mm long spaced between the main Tee at 600mm centre to centre to form a grid of 1200mmx600mm and provide a secondary cross tee 25mm x1.4mm ( of length 600mm) to be interlocked of the centre of 1200mmx600mm panel to form a grid of 605mmx605mm and wall angle 25mmx25mmx 2mm. Material and labour Easing of door shutters (Wooden / Aluminium / Steel / Collasible gate) for easy closing / opening tightening of hinges or changing the position of hinges adjustment of tower bolts, sliding bolts, handles with new screws by oiling, greasing and other minor fittings etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Material and labour Easing of wooden /steel window shutters, kitchen cupboard shutters, show case shutter drawers including fixing of screws adjusting handles, knobs tightening piano hinges including misc small adjustments including cleaning, greasing, replacement of hinges of steel windows and other minor fittings complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.
