Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5 m in width or 10 sqm on plan) including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift up to 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level :

1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand(zone-III) derived from natural sources : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources)

1:4:8 (1 Cement : 4 coarse sand(zone-III) derived from natural sources : 8 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size derived from natural sources).

Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form work for :

Foundations, footings, bases for columns.

Reinforced cement concrete work in walls (any thickness), including attached pilasters, buttresses, plinth and string courses, fillets, columns, pillars, piers, abutments, posts and struts etc. above plinth level up to floor five level, excluding cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement :

1:1.5:3 (1 cement : 1.5 coarse sand(zone-III)derived from natural sources : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal sizederived from natural sources)

Reinforced cement concrete work in beams, suspended floors, roofs having slope up to 15° landings, balconies, shelves, chajjas, lintels, bands, plain window sills, staircases and spiral stair cases above plinth level up to floor five level, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement with 1:1.5:3 (1 cement : 1.5 coarse sand(zone-III)derived from natural sources : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal sizederived from natural sources).

Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form for :

Walls (any thickness) including attached pilasters, butteresses, plinth and string courses etc.

Suspended floors, roofs, landings, balconies and access platform

Lintels, beams, plinth beams, girders, bressumers and cantilevers

Steel reinforcement for R.C.C. work including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position and binding all complete above plinth level.

Thermo-Mechanically Treated bars of grade Fe-500D or more.

Smooth finishing of the exposed surface of R.C.C. work with 6 mm thick cement mortar 1:3 (1 Cement : 3 fine sand).

Structural steel work riveted, bolted or welded in built up sections, trusses and framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer all complete.

Providing and fixing bolts including nuts and washers complete.

Finishing walls with Acrylic Smooth exterior paint of required shade :

New work (Two or more coat applied @ 1.67 ltr/10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 2.20 kg/10 sqm).

Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade :

Two or more coats on new work.

Making and supplying at site, anchor bolts for fixing base of tower, manufactured from EN 8 Steel and of 25mm dia mild steel bar of required length conforming to IS:2062, threaded at top upto 150mm length and welded with lugs made from 100x100x10mm thick mild steel plate at 50mm from bottom including suitable hexagonal nuts 2 nos. (Nuts & Checknuts) and MS spring washer etc. all complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Labour charges for orienting and fixing assembly of 4 Nos-25mm dia anchor bolts in each of the 4 legs/ pedestals of tower with the help of template, base plate and other base arrangements. A total of 16 numbers anchor bolts shall be oriented and fixed for each tower as per drawings. Rate includes cost of necessary scaffolding arrangement etc., all complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. (Base plate and Anchor bolts will be supplied separatly).

Dismantling of existing 21 Metre height Roof Top Tower (weight upto 3900 Kgs) including marking, dismembering of tower materials, Gantry and antana fixtures and mountings carefully and cautiously without damge to the members and near by structures and stacking the members neatly as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Note 1. Necessary safety measures shall be adopted while dismantling the tower to ensure the safety of men and materials and adjacent properties.

Note 2. The safe custody of tower materials will be the responsibility of the agency from the time of dismantling till the handing over of tower to concerned authorities.

Transportation tower members comprising MS angles, flats, plates, pipes, nuts and bolts etc., of varying sizes and lengths from Eruvadi to Mavadi work site. The entire lot of tower members shall be transported in a single lot. The job includes cost of collection of all members with required lead, loading & unloading and depositing the tower members at the desired location complete as per directions of Engineer in charge. ( Nothing extra shall be paid over and above the rate on any account.)

Providing & placing in earth pit (of size 2.00 m x2.00mx3.0 m) in position prefabricated structure made up of 4 nos of GI plates of size 600mm x 600mm x 6mm interconnected by GI flat of size 50mm x 3mm with and with lead sheath between GI plates and flats and nuts and joints being made moisture proof necessary GI bolts providing and placing in position watering pipe of 20mm dia GI pipe of length 3.0 m with funnel at top including filling finely sieved good soil for earth pit size of 2.0m x 2.0m upto a height of 1.5m from the bottom as per specification for earthing, brick masonry chamber of size 300x300x300mm with CI cover and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. (The galvanising shall be as per IS 4759 with average mass of zinc coating of 610gm/sqm, i.e. approximately 85 micron. The GI flat to be paid for separately)

Providing and fixing GI strip of size 50 x 3 mm with necessary GI clamps at every 1.50m, interval with Porcelain insulator, bolts, nuts, screws, etc.along with vertical runway including connecting with lightning spike at top of tower and earth at ground without overlap joint etc., complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. The rate includes all required materials, labours

Providing and fixing testing joint, made of 50 x 6 mm GI strip, 250mm long with 6 Nos of GI bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers etc., complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and fixing spike type lightening arrester made of 25mm dia hollow copper pipe of wall thickness 1.60mm and required length with necessary fixtures at top of the tower. The spike shall be insulated by Teflon material and connected to GI plate earthing by GI flat 50 x 3mm with proper lugging arrangement as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. (Cost of G.I. Flat of 50 x 3 mm shall be paid separately).

Making opening area upto 0.25 sqm in brick masonry wall for gantry entry including finishing with neat cement plaster etc complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Erection of four legged Roof Top angular light weight communication tower of 21 m height ( Approximate weight of 3900.00 Kgs ) using available M.S hot dipped galvanised sections , including sorting, lifting, assembling, fitting and fixing up all tower members in position true to alignment , including hoisting and bolting with necessary bolts, nuts and washers , fixing of ladder, working platform, cable guide rack and pipes for antenna mounting at required level all complete as per the directions of the Engineer in charge , including providiing necessary safety precautions to protect human lives and structures nearby during the course of erection, insurance coverage to labourers and including all tools, plants , equipments , machinery required for works as per relevant I.S codes and specification, including offering A/T all charges as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Painting of 21M Tower ( Approximate weight of Tower is 3900.00 Kgs ) with LUXOL High gloss synthetic enamel paint or equivalent in two or more coats over and including a base coats of etching primer (BISON wash primer or equivalent) and BISON HB Zinc chromate primer or equivalent to required shade with the colours of White and International Orange bands alternatively as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. (The Rate is inclusive of removal of old peeled paint, cleaning the surface of the structural members free of all rust, scales, grease and dirt, safety arrangements, lifting of painting materials to the required height upto 21 m from the base of the tower and Insurance coverage to labour and Materials .
