Note for item No 5 : The unit quoted rate deemed to be included for following :- (a) 25mm thick layer of cement mortar glass (of bottle or thick glass) broken to approximately 63mm gauge, shall be firmly embedded at the rate of 10 Kg of glass per square metre of rendered surface, jogged edges of the glass being left projecting. (b) Taking down existing glass from coping and removing as directed. (c) Scaffolding for execution of work and protective measures shall be taken by the contractor without any extra cost to Govt.

S & F in repair concertina coil of 610mm dia (in stretched position) hot dip galvanised steel wire coated with CLR ante corrosive coating making diamond shape with the help of devotail clips (18 SWG) fixed over barbed with the angle iron the concertina coil is to be fixed with barbed wire at points where coil touched the bottom of barbed wire with the help of hog rings (14 SWG) complete,incl removal of old unserviceable coil of any description all as specified and directed.

Demolition of brickwork or stone/ boulder masonry, built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc, but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles

M&L Pre-cast PCC 1:3:6 type C1 (using 20 mm graded stone agg) cement concrete block masonry with solid blocks exc. 10cm in width and set in cement mortar 1:6 built in cement mortar of any description complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down cement or cement lime plaster, any description on brick or stone walls, etc. including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water, etc.

M&L for rendering 15mm thick in cement mortar (1:4) on brick or concrete surfaces of wall and finishing the surface even and smooth without using extra cement complete all specified and directed.

Supply only liquid water proofing compound of approved make (ISI marked) all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Preparation of new plastered surfaces of wall and applying two coats of cement based paint over one coat of primer complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L preparation of newly plastered surfaces of wall and applying three coats of white washing on wall surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

Note :- Contractor is advised to ascertain the suitable place earmarked for disposal of sludge/sewage water from local municipality or area controling authority before quoting their rates. Disposal of waste at suitable place shall be sole responsibility of contractor and no representation or objection in this regard shall be entertained at any later stage.

Note :- An amount of Rs 84,250.00 on account of credit schedule for schedule 'A' part II shall be deducted from the total amount of BOQ to arrive at the contract sum.
