CONSTRUCTION OF A SUMP TANK FOUNDATION FOR SEAL WATER NEAR VACCUM PUMP- 707 AT 09/10 AREA IN ALUMINA REFINERY PLANT, NALCO, DAMANJODI

2.8.1) Earthwork in excavation in foundation trenches or drains( not exceeding 1.5 m in width or 10sqm on plan ) by mechanical/manual means including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lifts upto 1.5m including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of the surplus excavated soil as directed within a lead of 150 M.Disposed earth should be levelled and neatly dressed. The rate should also include the cost of dewatering , if any required during excavation.

2.25.0) Back filling Back filling with available excavated earth (excluding rocks) in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 20 Cm in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering , lead upto 50 Mtr and lift up-to 1.5 Mtr.

2.27) Sand filling Filling of sand under floors in trenches, sides of foundations etc. including supply of sand and watering, ramming, consolidating and dressing etc. all complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge (Local sand can be used for sand filling works).

1.1.2) Removal of excavated materials Removing the excavated materials,debris of any description and any other waste materials,spoil including loading into trucks/tractors using baskets by head load or any other means and transporting by trucks/tractors and unloading at the earmarked places,spreading,levelling complete for the leads upto 5.00 KM.

4.1.3) Providing and laying plain cement concrete ( 1:2:4 )1 cement: 2 coarse sand: 4 graded stone aggregate 20mm nominal size of specified grade level in foundations,fillings,non-suspended floors and at all areas, including tamping, curing etc. but excluding the cost of centering and shuttering etc. as specified or directed in any shape, position, thickness and finishing the top surface rough or smooth etc.all complete at all levels. (REQUIRED CEMENT SHALL BE ISSUED FREE OF COST AT NALCO'S STORE)

4.1.8) P.C.C ( 1:4:8) 1 Cement:4 Sand:8 Graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size (REQUIRED CEMENT SHALL BE ISSUED FREE OF COST AT NALCO'S STORE)

5.9.1) Centering and shuttering Iin foundation , footings ,bases of column etcincluding strutting, propping etc. and removal of form work of RCC work as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

5.9.2) Centering and shuttering in walls of any thickness including attached pilasters, buttereses , plinth and string coures etc including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form work of RCC work as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

5.22.4) Bending / Binding and placing in position high yield deformed bars reinforcement conforming to IS:1139 or cold twisted deformed bars reinforcement conforming to IS:1786 for RCC work at all height and depths, carting the same form store/issue points to site of work, straightening, cleaning, binding to required shape and lengths as per details, including supplying and binding with contractor's own soft annealed binding wire and placing with proper cover blocks, supports, chairs, spacers and return of unused/ scrap/ unserviceable steel to owners storage point etc all complete. (REQUIRED REINFORCEMENT SHALL BE ISSUED FREE OF COST AT NALCO'S STORE)

5.1.2) Reinforced cement concrete Providing and laying in position specified grade of reinforced cement concrete excluding cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement ,works including foundation, retaining walls,drains buttresses, plinth and string courses, fillets, columns,pillars, piers, abutments, posts and struts etc. at all levels 1:1.5:3 (1 cement : 1.5 coarse sand : 3 graded stone aggregate 20mm nominal size) including laying of reinforced cement concrete in or under water and/or liquid mud, cost of pumping or bailing out and removing slush etc complete as per the direction of E-I-C.(REQUIRED CEMENT SHALL BE ISSUED FREE OF COST AT NALCO'S STORE)

13.62.1) Enamel paint Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade. Two coats on new work.

10.2) Taking delivery of steel from NALCO's store or from the available scrap/dismantled materials, transport to fabrication shop, fabrication, errection and applying one coat of approved protective paint, all complete as directed by Engineer-in-Charge for all category of Structral steelwork i.e. trusses, wind ties, purlins, portals, frame work, columns, girders, bracings, monorails, exhaust pipes, windows, grills , doors, railings etc including all necessary connections as per drawings specifications. (REQUIRED STRUCTURAL STEEL SECTIONS PLATE, PIPES, FLATS, ANGLES, MESH ETC SHALL BE ISSUED FREE OF COST AT NALCO'S STORE)

15.2.1) Demolishing cement concrete manually or by mechanical means including disposal of material within 50 mtr lead as per direction of EIC (1:3:6) richer mix

15.3.00) Demolishing R.C.C work manually or by mechanical means including stacking of steel bars and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 mtr lead as per EIC.
