Dismantling existing aluminum partition with door and refixing the same at different location as per the direction of the engineer in charge. The rate includes labour charge for additional alteration and repairs, replacing the damaged parts wherever required etc.

Removing and stacking of existing wooden partition carefully loading, unloading, transporting within IIT premises.

Providing and fixing Aluminium composite panel for roofing / cladding of approved make made out of 4mm thick aluminium sheet. The frame work made out of Aluminium box sections for vertical and horizontal with necessary U Clamp and L Clamps to be fixed in the wall, using Anchor fasteners together with necessary screws and bolts and nuts and the grooves will be closed with Silicon Sealant etc. complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Brick work with flyash concrete blocks class designation M100 in foundation and plinth in CM 1:4 (1 Cement : 4\ coarse sand)

Add Extra for brick work with Fly ash concrete blocks in superstructure above plinth level up to floor V level

Half brick masonry with flyash concrete blocks class designation M100 in foundation & plinth in CM 1:4 (1 Cement : 4 Fine sand / coarse sand / M sand)

Extra for half Brick fly ash concrete block masonry in superstructure above plinth level up to floor V level

12 mm cement plaster of mix : 1:4 (1 Cement : 4 Fine sand / coarse sand / M sand)

Providing and Fixing colour anodized aluminium work for doors, windows, ventilators and partitions with extruded built up standard tubular sections / appropriate Z sections and other sections of approved make conforming to IS :733 and IS 1285, fixed with rawl plugs and scews or with fixing clips, or with expansion hold fasteners including necessary filling up of gaps at junctions, at top, bottom and sides with required PVC / neoprene felt etc. Aluminium sections shall be smooth, rust free straight, mitred and jointed mechanically wherever required including cleat angle, aluminium snap beading for glazing / panelling, C.P brass / Stainless steel screws, all complete as per architectural drawings and the directions of Engineer - in- charge. (Glazing and panelling to be paid for separatelly) For fixed portion Anodised aluminium (anodised transport or colour anodized dyed to required shade according to IS 1868, Minimum andioc coating of grade AC 15)

Providing and fixing 25mm tk cement board Bison make for covering the trenches at labs and workshop including cutting and making good to fix the existing trench / making table top / Laboratory sink as per the direction of Engineer in charge.

Supplying and Erection of Double Scaffolding (Area shall be calculated by multiplying length and height of scaffolding) for carrying out of miscellaneous works at all levels and etc., complete as per Indian Standard or relevant codes. Rate inclusive of providing necssary covering the area with suitbale safety net etc.,

Providing and fixing 10/12mm thick cement board / Calcium silicate ( bison board or equivalent) over the existing alumium/ wooden frame of the existing partitions / laboratory sink fixing / table top or side.

Interior Acrylic Interior emulsion paint (ICI /Asian / Berger / Nippon / Nerolac): (One or more coats excluding complete scraping and primer but including other surface preparation like removal of loose paint residuals, damaged plastering, high pressure jet washing, repairs to plaster, white cement based (JK / Birla) touch up putty / primer and making good the wall surface etc). Applying interior Acrylic Interior emulsion paint ( Asian / ICI / Berger) of approved colour, make, brand and surface coverage of painting as per the manufacturer specefication. The interior paint shall be applied over dry surface after removal of all loose or defective paint or powdery residue using mechanical methods with Zero dust vaccum technology followed with High pressure Jet washing whereever required before application of top coat of interior paint. The contractor shall also carryout necessary surface preparation including removal of loose plastering, patch plastering, crack filling, micro-concreting, application of damp proof coating and making good the wall surface etc wherever required before applying top coat. The contractor should ensure complete covering of floors using tarpaulin / plastic sheet while taking up the work. The rate quoted shall be inclusive of charges towards all labour, material, transport,scaffolding, safety arrangements, Personal Protective Equipments (PPE), tools and plants etc.

One or more coats : Enamel painting for doors / windows /steel works / wall panels (one or more coats excluding primer) on both exterior and interior surface of wooden and steel joineries using approved colour, make and brand of synthetic enamel paint one or more coats. The contractor should ensure complete covering of floors using tarpaulin / plastic sheet while taking up the work. The work shall be executed as per the detailed specifications and special conditions. The rate quoted shall be inclusive of charges towards all labour, material, transport, scaffolding, safety arrangements, Personal Protective Equipments (PPE), tools and plants etc

Prepare surface and re - polishing the old wooden surface using approved quality & make French polish /varnish including bees waxing wood filler etc., and such other required materials, one or more coat to give an even shade. (ICI / Asian / Berger / Nerolac / Nippon / Sheenlac)

Filling the gap in between aluminum frame & adjacent RCC/ Brick/ Stone work by providing weather silicon sealant over backer rod of approved quality as per architectural drawings and direction of Engineer-in-charge complete. Up to 5mm depth and 5 mm width

Providing and fixing of glazing to door/ window/ ventilator shutter and partition etc with pvc neoprene gasket / wooden reapers / necessary adhesives etc complete as per the direction of engineer in charge (Saint Gobain /Modifloat). 5mm thick float glass

Providing and fixing factory made uPVC white colour sliding glazed window upto 1.50 m in height dimension comprising of uPVC multi-chambered frame with in-built roller track and sash extruded profiles duly reinforced with 1.60 ± 0.2 mm thick galvanized mild steel section made from roll forming process of required length (shape & size according to uPVC profile), appropriate dimension of uPVC extruded glazing beads and uPVC extruded interlocks, EPDM gasket, wool pile, zinc alloy (white powder coated) touch locks with hook, zinc alloy body with single nylon rollers (weight bearing capacity to be 40 kg), G.I fasteners 100 x 8 mm size for fixing frame to finished wall and necessary stainless steel screws etc. Profile of frame & sash shall be mitred cut and fusion welded at all corners, including drilling of holes for fixing hardware's and drainage of water etc. After fixing frame the gap between frame and adjacent finished wall shall be filled with weather proof silicon sealent over backer rod of required size and of approved quality, all complete as per approved drawing & direction of Engineer-in-Charge. (Single / double glass panes, wire mesh and silicon sealent shall be paid separately) Note: For uPVC frame and sash extruded profiles minus 5% tolerance in dimension i.e. in depth & width of profile shall be acceptable. Variation in profile dimension in higher side shall be accepted but no extra payment on this account shall be made..Two track two panels sliding window made of (small series) frame 52 x 44 mm &sash 32 x 60 mm both havingwall thickness of 1.9 ± 0.2 mm and single glazing bead of appropriate dimension. (Area of window upto 1.75 sqm)

Removing existing false ceiling with GI channels, cupboards carefully and stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 50m lead.

Supplying and fixing "Daiken" Acoustical ceiling with regular grid system at all levels. Providing and fixing Daiken mineral fiber ceiling tiles, false ceiling with hot dipped galvanized steel grid work. Surface chemicals cleaned capping pre-finished in baked polyester paint main tiles of size 600x600mm as per manufacturer specification.

SPECIFICATION FOR ARMSTRONG / DAIKEN “METAL LAY-IN STANDARD-PERFORATED TILES (SIZE : 600MM X 600MM) WITH ARMSTRONG SILHOUETTE EXPOSED GRID” SYSTEM Providing & Fixing of Armstrong Orcal Lay in Micro- Perforated metal ceiling System consisting of 600mm x 600mm Lay in tiles of pre coated galvanized steel in 0.5 mm thickness in white colour with perforation of 2.5mm dia & open area of 16% with acoustical fleece with NRC of 0.70 on the back of the tile to be laid on Armstrong Silhouette profile grid system with 15mm white flanges incorporating a 6mm central reveal in black colour. The First/Last Armstrong suspension system at the end of each main runner should not be greater than 600mm from the adjacent wall. 1200mm long cross tees to be interlocked between main runners at 600mm centre to form 1200 x 600 mm module. Cut cross tees longer than 600mm require independent support. 600 x 600mm modules to be formed by fitting 600mm long cross tees centrally between the 1200 mm cross tees. The 1200mm cross tees to have central “birdsmouth” notches to facilitate fitting of 600mm cross tees. Perimeter trim to be Armstrong shadow wall molding (dimensions:19x7x7x14mm)

Labour charges for removing and refixing the existing false ceiling whereverdamaged etc. The rate is including replacing GI channel, tiles, labour etc. complete

Labour engagement for unmeasurable items of works such as masonry touch up works, cleaning works, machinery, lab equipment and materials shifting to enable taking up the renovation woks as per the direction of Engineer in charge

Providing and applying 12mm thick (average) premixed formulated one coat gypsum lightweight plaster having additives and light weight aggregates as vermiculite/perlite respectively conforming to IS: 2547(Part-1 &II)1976, applied on hacked/uneven background such as bare brick/block/RCC work on walls & ceiling at all floors and locations,finished in smooth line and level etc. complete. The existing surface should be applied for a bonding coating with cerabond before the gypsum plaster work. The rate inclusive of necerssary tools, machineries, scaffolding and manpower required to complete the work as per the directions of Engineer in-charge.

Interior painting: (two or more coats over a primer coat including complete scraping, other surface preparation like removal of loose paint residuals, damaged plastering, repairs to plaster, white cement based (JK / Birla) touch up putty / primer and making good the wall surface etc) Applying interior paint of approved colour, make, brand and product at the approved rate of surface coverage of painting as per Annexure A.1.3. The interior paint shall be applied over dry surface after complete scraping and removal of all loose or defective paint or powdery residue using mechanical methods with Zero dust vaccum technology followed with sealing the surface with a coat of approved interior primer before application of top coat of exterior paint. The contractor shall also carryout necessary surface preparation including removal of loose plastering, patch plastering, crack filling, micro-concreting, application of damp proof coating and making good the wall surface etc wherever required before applying primer coat. The contractor should ensure complete covering of floors using tarpaulin / plastic sheet while taking up the work. The work shall be executed as per the detailed specifications and special conditions mentioned in the Annexure 1. The rate quoted shall be inclusive of charges towards all labour, material, transport, scaffolding, safety arrangements, Personal Protective Equipments (PPE), tools and plants etc.

Removing of existing surplus earth, rubbish and garbage through the lorry / truck including loading, unloading and transporting to out side the IITM premises including approval from local authorities like municipality/corporation complete as per the direction of Engineer in charge. Necessary deduction for voids @ of 20% will be made from the actual measured volume of rubbish.

Deduct cost of old scrab material such as old steel grids from false ceiling removal, steel sections & MS grill etc.,
