Clearing medium jungles and trees up to 15cm girth including cutting , uprooting roots and stumps, removing them from the site of the work etc. Complete as directed ( When 30% to 60 % of the area is covered by shrubs , trees etc.)

Cutting bamboo , uprooting roots & stumps including removing them from the site of work etc. Complete as directed.

Uprooting bamboo clumps where bamboo have already been removed including removing stumps to a distance as directed.

Felling trees uprooting roots and stumps up to 50 cm below ground cutting in to pieces and removing the same from site of work as directed. Trees above 1.0m and up to 2.0m girth

Earth work in embankment by truck carriage in ordinary/ normal soil excluding sandy and rocky soil free from roots and vegetations and filling in uniform layers not exceeding 22cm. thick including cutting and ploughing or roughening or benching the seat , removing all debries,breaking clods up to 2.5cm cube, dressing as per design section including payment of forest royality if any etc. Complete as directed. ( 10 % deduction will be made from the section measured quantites of the completed and compacted section earth work on account of shrinkage.) Loosening,levelling and compacting original ground supporting embankment to facilitate placement of each layer of embankment , scarified to a depth of 150mm, mixed with water at OMC and then compacted by rolling so as to achieve minimum dry density as given in Table 300-2 for embankment construction.

Labour for ramming with cast iron rammer to proper compaction including watering if necessary etc. Complete as directed. i) Ordinary soil

Turfing with grass sods of the largest possible rectangles of 12 cm minimum thickness placed closely including dressing earth pagging with Jati bamboo spilt, watering till the grass grows for a lead up to 90m and all lifts.

Collection of sand gravel from approved quarry containing 60% sand and 40% gravel free from disingrated and flaky pieces of vegetation and other deleterious matters, adherent coating etc. including stacking in suitable stacks at quarry site and payment of forest royaltyetc. Complete as directed.

Spreading of earth stacks / sand gravel over the crest and slopes of the embankment and places as directed in uniform layer of 22 Cm. thick including breaking clods, dressing , ramming etc. complete where necessary including dressing the embankment before complete as directed.
