SCHEDULE 'A' (REPAIRS TO EXTERNAL WATER SUPPLY PIPE LINE AND CONNECTED WORKS)

Excavation in trenches for laying of GI water tubing etc., getting out in Hard/dense soil n.exc 1.5m wide and n.exc 1.5m depth complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in trenches including spreading, leveling, watering and in layers n.exc 25cms thick without damaging pipes/special fittings as in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated materials to a distance n.exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in repair for 75mm dia HDPE Pipe, PN 80 grade, 10 Kg/cm² pressure rating, including taking down old one complete all specified and as directed.

Supply and fix in repair for GI tubing of 50 mm dia size medium grade including provision of fitting Tee,Bend,Socket,Elbow, Short pieces connectors, plugs, unions, cutting thread etc and accessories laid in trenches, walls, opens including taking down old one complete all as specified and directed by Eng-in-charge. Material and Labour for construction of masonry valve chamber internal size 120cm x 90cm x 90cm including 100 mm thick PCC (1:4:8) type D2 foundation using 40mm graded stone aggregate, brick work in CM (1:6) plastering internal sufaces completely and external surfaces upto 150 mm belowground level, 15 mm thick in CM (1:4) 100 mm thick (1:3:6) Type C1 coping 40x40x6 mm angle iron with 3 mm thick MS sheet cover complete with handle locking arrangement including painting steel and iron surfaces with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of zinc primerincluding necessary excavtion earth work complete all as specified and as directed.Note:- Drawing for valve chamber pit shall be approved by GE before commencement of work.

Taking down old defective foot valve and supply and fix new CI foot valve 50mm dia heavy duty with confirming to IS-4038 PN 0.2 complete all as specified and directed:-

Taking down the defective induction motor of any make 415 volt 3 phase by dismantling the electrical connections, removing the motor from bed by decoupling with pump transporting to workshop, dismantling it completely, removing the burnt out winding, rewinding the same with super enameled copper wire of same gauge, varnishing and after repair back to site and re-assembling the motor completly with all connections and testing complete all as specified and directed for following capacity. Note : (i) Burnt out removed winding wire shall be property of contractor through schedule of credit. (ii) The rate quoted deemed to inclusive of replacement of burnt out Spare parts such as bearing, shaft, bushing etc.

Servicing/overhauling of centrifugal pump set by dismantling completely and replacing unserviceable ball bearing, shaft sleeve, gland nack ring gland rope,nut and bolts, impellers etc. assembling back the complete pump and fixing alignment to the original position and coupling with pump and necessary alignment etc with Two coat enameled paint including scraping complete and written MES/SM, testing and commissioning complete all as specified and directed Note: (i) Spares shall be included in the quoted unit rate. (ii) Painting and writting including item rate. (a) Maintenance schedule :- (i) Checking for looseness of all the foundation and coupling nuts/bolts and rectification. (ii) Checking for proper functioning of all the voltmeter, Ammeter, starter, contactor etc and rectification. (iii) Checking for proper functioning of suction and discharge pressure gauges and rectification. (iv) Checking of leakage in gland packing, shifting base, bushes sluice valves, gate valves etc and rectification. (v) Checking for any undue noise of motor pump and rectification. (b) Maintenance schedule :- (i) Checking for proper aligment and rectification. (ii) Checking for proper lubrication in bearing and lubricating. (iii) Checking all electrical panel using for pumping for cleanliness and rectification for any looseness burnt redressing etc.

Material and labour for taking up submersible pump set upto 7.5 HP from deep borewell including column pipe any bore & length, 3-phase 415v,50Hz,AC, taking to workshop, opening the motor,cutting and removing the burnt windings, cleaning the starter and rotor with cleaning agent, rewinding the motor with appropriate gauge of super enameled copper wire make insulating the winding with same class of insulation, checking of shaft impeller replace if necessary and lowering the submersible pump and motor to same borewell including column pipe after carry out necessary repair and testing and complete all as specified and directed. Note: (a) Cost of winding of motor included in the quoted rate, (b) Cost of repair of pump including impeller, shaft, bushing included in the quoted unit rate. (c) The quoted rate inclusive any other parts if required to repaired and extra payment will not be made .

Note:1:-The Servicing will be done by authorized dealers only. Note:2:- The fillter media, gasket,valves,nut, bolt,washer for dish / valves shall be measured and paid seperately under respective items. Note:3:- .The unit rates against the item shall be deemed to include the cost of minor repair to disinfection system, PSF, ACF, Softener & Brine systemetc.
