Amount

Demolition of old roof treatment thickness n.exc 250mm (including PCC tiles, PCC, APP membrance, PCC roof kerbs and mud phuska of any thickness leeping/plastering layers etc) over RCC slab surface and including removing all debris from roof surface to outside MoD land complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for brushing neat cement slurry with 3.00 kg of cement per sqm on existing surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for plain cement concrete 1:2:4, type B0, using 12.5mm graded stone aggregates over roof for making good the depression/ undulation to make the existing roof surfaces as filling in depression of roof slab/ Roof padding/ roof kerbs, rounded or chamfered on edges etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Priming roof surfaces and applying water proofing treatment over roofs comprising of the following complete all as specified and as directed:-

(a) Applying oil bound bituminous primer at the rate of 0.30 Ltrs/Sqm as per IS 3384-1986 on prepared surfaces. Surface shall be kept free till the moment, the primer is impregnated and the solvent oil in primer is evaporated.

(b) Applying one coat of hot straight run bitumen @ 1.20 Kg/Sqm of grade 30/40 conforming to IS-73 (Grade S-35).

(c) Laying 3mm thick APP polymeric water proofing membrane of weight not less than 3.6 kg/sqm, black finish, reinforced with non woven polyster matt, (weight not less than 160 gm/Sqm) with a thermo fusible finish, torching overlaps with a propane or a butane gas torch, with a overlap of 75mm at sides and 100mm at the ends and sealing including applying a coat of cold emulsion bituminous primer all as per manufacturer's instruction including preparation of surface.

Note:- The water proofing treatment shall be got carried out by the manufacturer or by their authorised applicators. The contractor shall give 10 years guarantee for effectiveness of water proofing treatment and 2.5% of work done amount of this item shall be retained from contractors payment for a period of 10 years reckoned from date of physical completion of this work or in lieu the contractor may deposit FDR issued from bank for the said amount for 10 years, which shall be released by GE on expiry of satisfactory completion of 10 years period.

Supply only integral water proofing compound, conforming to relevant IS complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling floor, hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing), removing serviceable tiles to store and rubbish off the premises complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for light shade Vitrified tiles 10 mm thick (square/rectangular) polished, area of each tile not exceeding 0.38 sqm, as in floors etc set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match over and including 15mm thick screed bed in CM 1:6 complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for light shade Vitrified tiles 10 mm thick (square/rectangular) polished, area of each tile not exceeding 0.38 sqm, as in skirting etc set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match over and incl rendering 10mm thick in CM (1:4) complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for non-skid coloured ceramic tiles 7 to 8 mm thick (square/rectangular) area of each tile exceeding 0.06 sqm but not exceeding 0.11 sqm, in floors etc set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match over and including 15mm thick screed bed in CM 1:6 complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for joint free glazed ceramic coloured tiles in vertical surface 450x300x7 mm thick set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or colour cement to match over and incl rendering 10mm thick in CM (1:4) complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down shutters of any description exc 1.00 sqm but not exc 2.00 Sqm each and refixing the shutter in same opening after easing and adjusting complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down cement or cement lime plaster, any description, on brick or stone walls, concrete surface etc including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for rendeing 15 mm thick other then fair faces surfaces in CM 1:4 finished even and smooth without using extra cement on walls etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for rendeing 10mm thick in CM 1:6 finished even and smooth without using extra cement on walls etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparation of newly plastered surfaces of walls and applying 1 to 1.5 mm thick wall care putty on plastered surface of wall surfaces to achieve smooth, even and uniform surface including grinding with sand paper and levelling of surface and applying two coats of oil bound distemper of white or tinted over prepared putty base surface complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparation of newly plastered surfaces of walls and applying two coats of cement based paint over a coat of alkali resistant primer, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for complete removal of old plastered surfaces of walls and applying two coats of cement based paint over a coat of alkali resistant primer, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparation of old wooden surfaces of any description not otherwise described over 10 cms width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparation of old steel surfaces of any description not otherwise described over 10 cms width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repairs bib tap (quarter turn), brass chromium plated fancy type, long body with flange screwed down, screwed for iron pipe 15 mm bore, complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F 6mm thick glass corner shelf fancy type with railing and fittings complete of size 25cm x 25cm of best quality (as per sample approved by Engr-in-Charge/GE) complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F kitchen plate rack with four shelves made out of stainless steel sheet 1 mm thick overall size 750mm x 750mm x 250mm complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repairs, mixer for mixing valve 15mm dia, Hot and Cold CP brass fancy including joints to steel pipe or unions for centre hole wash hand basin, including fittings etc complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repairs, wall mixer for mixing valve Hot and Cold water screwed down for iron pipe 15mm dia CP brass fancy including joints to steel pipe or unions, including necessary fittings etc complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F PVC Body Cabinet Box Mirror of size 350mm X 450mm X 100mm in PTMT alloy of approved design and pattern complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 50 mm thick (avg) guniting in patches on to the required area on RCC parapet walls, columns, beams, stairs, lintels, sunshades, roofing slab etc. of all sizes and shapes at all heights from existing ground floor and all locations with cement and sand mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 sand) under 2 to 2.8 Kg/Cm2 pressure after removing the damaged loose spalt concrete portions by chipping, removal of dust and applying one coat of rust convertor kp-100 or equivalent grade over reinforcement wherever necessary providing and tying in position with 75mm x 75mm, square size with 2.946mm dia mild steel wire welded mesh over treated surface ready to receive grouts, curing for 10 days etc, complete operation all as directed including labour charges, hire charges for all tools and plant machineries including cost of consumables, scaffolding, all types of protective equipments, plant floors, pipelines, vessels, materials etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Notes: (i) After placing the additional reinforcement all concrete surfaces shall be thoroughly scrubbed with brushes, washed with water and allow to dry. To this surface apply chemistic polycrete admixture at the rate not less than 2% by weight of cement or as per Manufacturer’s instructions. (ii) When polymix coating is in tackey condition guniting is to be done with polycrete admixture at the rate not less than 2% by weight of cement or as per manufacturer’s instruction. Polycrete admixture shall be procured from Chemical Adhesive Pvt Ltd Co or from their authorized dealer or equivalent as directed by GE/AGE. (iii) Cost of the above aspects shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate of the above item and nothing extra shall be paid to the contractor on any account.

M&L for Reinforced Cement Concrete 1:2:4, type B0, using 12.5 mm graded stone aggregate for parapet wall/Sunshade casting including necessary scaffolding etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for formwork to faces of walls, retaining walls, abutments, parapets and staircase railings and similar work including attached pillasters, buttresses, etc.; vertical or to batter for fair finished surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for formwork to chullah hoods, chajjas, troughs and similar items including edges complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F TMT bars10 mm dia and above, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L TMT bars 6 mm to 8 mm dia, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of cement concrete (un reinforced) in ground floors and paving not exceeding 15cm thickness (below or above ground level) complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for cement concrete 1:3:6, type C2, using 40mm graded stone aggregate in plinth protection, 75 mm thick, finished even and smooth without using extra cement, including making joints 12mm wide to the full depth of PCC at every 3 metres and at every change of direction and filling the same with & including bitumen and sand 1:3 by weight complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 18mm thick Wood Plastic Compsite (WPC) board, 100% solid with density not less 650 Kg per cubic meter, one side wood grain finished laminated for exposed/external surface, fixed with screws fitted under or above the kitchen cooking plateform and/or other platform including all necessary fittings and fixtures like nickle plated clip hinges, knobs, channels etc including taking down old wooden board of any type complete all as specified and as directed. Notes : (a) Pattern & design of WPC board to be decided by GE. (b) Rate for following fittings for each cupboard are deemed to be included in the unit rate:- (i) 01 x 15mm dia stainless steel rod inside cupboards with brackets. Length of each rod for each cupboards n.exc. 1m. (ii) 02 x 150mm aluminum handles fixed with S/S screws. (iii) 04 x Magnetic Catcher. (iv) 01 x 150mm long stainless steel hasp & staple. (v) Piono hinges for 02 x cupboards shutters. Length of each piano for each shutter n.exc. 2.10m.

Note :- (i) The contract sum shall be after deducting the amount of Credit shown in Sch of Credit of this Tender. (ii) If any item of same description in nature is found to be entered as "double in BOQ" and the bidder quotes different rates against same item, then the rate quoted on lower side shall be applicable and higher rate will not be allowed to be paid in any circumstances. No claim on this account shall be entertained on a later date.
