Construction of Bridge across Thambikottai Vadakadu channel in Parakkalakottai to Pathankadu road in Pattukkottai Block of Thanjavur District.

Earthwork excavation in all classes of soil except hard rock requiring blasting and depositing on bank with all leads and lifts as per SS20B, including cost of all labour, equipments and all incidental charges such as baling our water, providing and maintaining necessary cofferdams, sheeting, shoring bracing and their subsequent removal, removal of all logs, stumps, grubs and other deleterious matter and obstructions, trimming bottom of excavation backfilling, and clearing the site and disposal of all surplus materials etc., complete as per relevant standard specification for DRESSING THE BED UP TO SILL LEVEL.

Vibrated Cement Concrete of Grade M 15 Nominal Mix (1:2.5:5) using 40 mm, 20 mm & 10 mm ISS size HBG metal including cost and conveyance of all materials to site including cost of cement at site including cost of formwork, soft water, labour charges for mixing, transporting, laying and curing concrete, working at depths, tools and plants and maintaining of protective bunds, cofferdams, shoring, strutting etc., complete as per relevant standard specifications for RAFT BELOW.

Vibrated Cement Concrete of Grade M 20 Nominal Mix (1:2:4) using 40 mm, 20 mm & 10 mm ISS size HBG metal including cost and conveyance of all materials to site including cost of cement at site including cost of formwork, soft water, labour charges for mixing, transporting, laying and curing concrete, working at depths, tools and plants and maintaining of protective bunds, cofferdams, shoring, strutting etc., complete as per relevant standard specifications for TOE WALL / CUT OFF WALL.

Vibrated Reinforced Cement Concrete M30 Grade Mix (1:1.2:2.4) using 20 & 10 mm ISS size HBG graded metal including cost and conveyance of all materials to site and cement at site but excluding cost and fabrication of steel but including form work and centering soft water labour charges for mixing, transporting, placing in position, vibrating and compacting finishing and curing concrete working at heights, hire charges for tools and plants, including all other incidental charges etc., complete as per standard specifications for RAFT FOUNDATION.

Providing and laying Gabion type apron with stone boulders of minimum size and weight as per Table 1300.1, no fragment weighing less than 25 kg laid dry complete as per drawing and technical specifications Clause 1301 for Flexible Apron

Vibrated Cement Concrete of grade M20 Design Mix using 20 mm & 12 mm ISS including cost and conveyance of all materials to site including cost of cement at site including cost of formwork, soft water, labour charges for mixing, transporting, laying and curing concrete , working at depths , tools and plants and including all other incidental charges etc; complete as per relevant standard specifications, for SUBSTRUCTURE OF ABUTMENTS, WINGS, AND PIERS ABOVE SILL LEVEL -

Vibrated Reinforced Cement Concrete of M 30 Grade Mix (1:1.2:2.4) using 20 & 10 mm ISS size HBG graded metal including cost and conveyance of all materials to site including cost of cement at site including cost of formwork, soft water, labour charges for mixing, transporting, laying and curing concrete , working at depths , tools and plants including all other incidental charges etc; complete as per relevant standard specifications, for DIRT WALL CUM BED BLOCK OVER ABUTMENTS AND BED BLOCK OVER PIERS, -

Providing and fixing seepage pipes of 100 mm dia. PVC pipes of required lengths for abutments and wings including cost and conveyance of all materials to work site and labour charges for fixing, complete IN BETWEEN THE ABUTMENTS AND RETURNS.

Providing and fixing Tar Paper for full width of seating of deck slab (Bearing between Deck Slab and Bed Block) including cost and conveyance to work site labour for fixing the same in correct position and all other incidental charges etc., complete.

Vibrated Reinforced Cement Concrete of M 30 Grade Mix (1:1.2:2.4) using 20 & 10 mm ISS size HBG graded metal including cost and conveyance of all materials to site and cement at site but excluding cost and fabrication of steel but including form work and centering soft water labour charges for mixing, transporting, placing in position, vibrating and compacting finishing and curing concrete working at heights, hire charges for tools and plants, including all other incidental charges etc., complete as per standard specifications for DECK SLAB, KERB .

Construction of R.C.C. railing of M 30 grade in cast-in-situ with 20 mm nominal size aggregate, true to line and grade, tolerance of vertical railing post not to exceed 1 in 500, centre-to-centre spacing between vertical posts not to exceed 2000 mm as per drawing and technical specifications Clauses 800, 900 and 1208.3 for RCC HAND RAIL AND POSTS OVER DECK SLAB.

Vibrated Cement Concrete of Grade M 20 Nominal Mix (1:2:4) using 40 mm, 20 mm & 10 mm ISS size HBG metal including cost and conveyance of all materials to site and cement at sitel including labour charges for mixing,transporting, laying, and curing concrete,working at heights for parapet over Approach Slab/Wing Wall.

Supply and fabrication of High Yield Strength Deformed Bar with Grade Designation Fe.500, conforming to IS:1786 1985, steel required for all RCC items of works involved in the schedule cost of steel at site fabrication labour charges for cleaning, bending tying grills, including overlapping to the required length whenever necessary and placing the reinforcement in position as specified in the drawings, including cost of binding wire, provision of spacer bars, cover blocks and all other incidental charges etc., complete, Fe.500 grade.

Filling behind Abutments and wings with clean gritty gravel including cost and conveyance of gravel to worksite, laying, handling charges and filling in layers, tamping under optimum moisture content to get the maximum density including watering with all leads for water and all other incidental charges etc., complete for filling behind the abutment and wings

Providing and laying filter media with granular crushed aggregates as per specification to a thickness of not less than 600 mm with smaller size towards the soil and bigger size towards the wall and providing over the entire surface behind abutment, wing wall, return wall to the full height, compacted to firm condition complete as per drawing and technical specification Clause 1204.3.8

Providing and fixing 20 mm thick PVC expansion joint complete as per drawing and technical specifications in between deck slabs over abutments and piers including cost and conveyance, complete.

Vibrated Cement Concrete of Grade M 15 Nominal Mix (1:2.5:5) using 40 mm, 20 mm and 10 mm ISS size HBG metal including cost and conveyance of all materials to site including cost of cement at site including cost of formwork, soft water, labour charges for mixing, transporting, laying and curing concrete, working at depths, tools and plants and maintaining of protective bunds, cofferdams, shoring, strutting etc., complete as per relevant standard specifications for LEVELLING COURSE BELOW APPROACH SLAB.

Vibrated cement Concrete M 30 Grade Wearig Course using ISS size HBG graded metal including cost and conveyance of all materials to worksite and cement at site including all labour charges for fixing concrete, laying, vibrating, hire charges for tools and plants, compacting, curing with all leads for soft water, including all other incidental charges,formwork,cost of premoulded expansion joints and fixing the same in position etc., complete for wearing coat of 75 mm uniform thickness over deck slab and approach slab.

Providing and fixing of cast iron drainage spouts 100 mm dia as per MORTH drawing SD/205 with grating arrangements at top as shown in the drawing using 12 mm x 25 mm flats for grating arrangements, and 100 mm dia drainage spout projecting beyond the bottom of deck slab as shown in the drawing including cost and conveyance of cast iron pipes and flats and fixing them in position etc, complete.

Construction of embankment with approved materials deposited at site from roadway cutting and excavation from drain and foundation of other structures graded and compacted to meet requirement of Tables 300.1 and 300.2 as per Technical Specification Clause 301.5 (Cutting Earth from proposed bridge structure)

Providing and laying reinforced cement concrete pipe NP3 for culverts on first class bedding of granular material in single row including fixing collar with cement mortar 1:2 but excluding excavation, protection works, backfilling, concrete and masonry

Construction of granular sub-base by providing well graded material, spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at OMC, and compacting with three wheel 80-100 kN static roller capacity to achieve the desired density, complete as per Technical Specification Clause 401 Grading III

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with three wheel 80-100 kN static roller in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, crushable screening to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density Grading 2 as per Technical Specification Clause 405. (Grading II)

Dismantling of existing bridges structure

Dismantling of existing structures like culverts, bridges, retaining walls and other structure comprising of masonry, cement concrete, wood work, steel work, including T&P and scaffolding wherever necessary, sorting the dismantled material, disposal of unserviceable material and stacking the serviceable material with all lifts and lead of 1000 m - Foundation.

Towards the charges for routine maintenance of the bridge work executed under PMGSY including dressing of berms by refilling the gully with the earth from borrow pits for bridge approach road, rivertraining works, white washing abutment and pier, painting of handrails/ crash barrier, repairing of damaged wearing coats, cealing of cracks with cement/ epoxy grouting, repairing of bearings, expansion joints, concrete railings / crash barrier with the periodicity for the above activities as prescribed in IRC- SP-20:2002 and as directed by the departmental officers except for the constructional defects which has to be rectified by the contractors at its own cost.
