M & L for Water proofing treatment to RCC roof slab, walls, chhajjas etc, shall be carried out as specified below including Removing of existing bitumenous tarfelt including cement screed bed and clean the surface with wire brush and washing with water to achieve the original surface of slab including removing of bitumen primer applied on slab all as spd and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (a) Preparing plastered surfaces of roof slab, walls, chhajjas etc, by brooming with broom sweeping free from dirt dust etc & evenly applying a coat of ShaliTex primer (solvent based bituminous primer) conforms to IS: 3384-1986 coat of ShaliTex primer @ 0.3 Kg/Sqm shall be applied on the prepared and cleaned roof surface and parapet. Ensure not to apply when temperature is less than 5° C or during foggy period. Primer shall be allowed to dry for overnight. Item No. 1.00 Contd....

(b) Providing and laying APP (Atactic Polypropylene polymer) 3mm thick SuperThermolay Spun bonded non woven polyester reinforced APP modified water proofing membrane, black finished reinforced with non woven polyester matt weight not less than 3.5 Kg/Sqm manufactured by STP Ltd. The laying of membrane with a 75 mm longitudinal and 100mm transverse direction overlap shall be provided. (c) Finally applying a coat of Super Silver Shield confirmed to IS: solar reflective bituminous aluminium paint @ 0.15 ltr/Sqm on the top of membrane surfaces complete all as specified & as directed by Engr in Charge. (Make: STP Ltd or equivalent in Supremo/ pidilite/fosroc) Note : i) Work should be done by STP Ltd (OEM) /fosroc /Pidilite /Suprimo (OEM) respective applicator & work should be able to furnish stagewise on site technical reports from concerned company technologist during currency of work and entire completion of work. ii) Contractor shall submitt 10 year OEM guaranttee for water proof treatment.

M&L for two coats of bond coat @ 0.42 Kg/Sqm for two coats to exposed concrete surface/exposed steel surface for receving concrete/plaster etc complete including cleaning of existing concrete surface and steel reinforcement if any throughly by wire brushing or using compresor air to remove dust and laitance to free from oil to receive further treatment complete all as specified and as directed. [Make : Araldite, STP Ltd (Shalibond Concrete), Fosroc as approved by Garrison Engineer ]

M&L for 10 mm thick ready mix plaster/screed bed layer in CM 1:3 on concrete surfaces including WPC & plasticizer as per manufacturer instruction ) [Note : (i) Using only clean dry river sand shall be inculded in quoted rate. (ii) WPC/plasticizer will be measured & paid seperatly]

M&L for PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20 mm graded agg as in PCC padding in roof kerbs or mud stops, rounded and chamfered on edges and on chajjas laid over RCC surface finished even and smooth without using extra cement includng necessary water proofing chemicals all as specified and directed by the Engr-in-charge. (Note : WPC shall be measured and paid separately)

Supply only necessary plasticizers complete all as specified and as directed. (Make:- Pidilite CF 21 by Pidilite, P211 by Fosroc, ShaliPlast LW+ by STP Ltd.) [Note : Contractor shall bring complete material incorporated in work with concern executive.]

M & L for scrapping and removing old paint stains, loose material and algae- fungus growth then cleaning of surface with water using pressure washer machine then crack filling with acrylic basedd textured crack filler an application of one coat of primero-primer cum sealer having alkali resistence prpoperty diluted with water and mixed with bio block in ratio 5:4:1 follwed by application of two coats of modified acrylic Apex exterior emulsion paint of approved shade having silicon addditive in paint which gives five year of performance warranty complete all as specified and as diurected Note:- (i) The work should be done by Asian paints recommended applicator and the bidder should be able to furnish stage wise on site technical reports from the concerened company technologist. (ii) rate quoted shall inclusive to carry out repair of plaster in CM 1:4 to match the existing thickness of surfaces including taking down plaster in patches not exc 1.00 sqm as directed. (iii) Rate quoted shall deemed to be inclusive of necessary scaffolding / security measures as the work is to be carried out for elevated height up to 12 Mtr height building.

Pruning of vegetation and plants growth on the external wall surfaces/roofs and applying Hydrochloric acid on the left over root portion and making good disturbed portion with CM 1:4 or PCC 1:2:4 grouting and finished with two coats of cement base paint to match the existing colour shade complete all as specified and as directed. (Note : Rates to be inclusive of necessary scaffolding up to G+3 height.)

Dismantling wrought rion or mild steel iron of any description not otherwise provide for.

S & F rolled mild steel section conforming to grade E-165 (Fe-290) framed work as in door or gates of angle or other section with gusset plates rails , braces, etc complete drilled for fixing of steel sheeting or other covering doors, etc to be prepared for hanging or sliding with and including either hooks and hinges or steel hanging door fittings and hanging, fastening, etc complete all as directed.

Disconnecting existing water storage tanks of any capacity not exc. 1000 ltrs and setting aside or lowered if required, and refixng in the same position after carryout necessary roof treatment including necessary fittings (float valve,tank nipple and GI pipes) if required complete all as specified and as directed. (Note:- Necessary arrangement for water supply to be done by the contractor till completion of roof work)

Taking up or down carefully steel tubing and connection s including cleaning for refixing or removal to store of following size :-
